So I made this for McFox. I did it basically because I felt like sculpting something and nothing exists of Paras when it comes to figurines that doesn't look half ******** and obviously made by bootleg companies, so I felt like doing a favor for fun.

So yeah, made this outta Sculpey. The legs, arms, mushrooms, and eyes are individual pieces. The legs have wire in them for strength. Took all day due to baking times. Lol. And gluing took multiple days so those legs could set and actually hold the body up. Pupils are oil paint because that's what I had. Haha.

Ok, pictures! Give me lots of love!

This is Paras after all his parts have been baked(minus mushrooms). His little pointy pincer tips are also seperate pieces.

Balanced together with the cd holding him up so I could show people the progress =)

Mushroom detail. Kinda. My camera sucks. Lol. these pictures will be a mix of good camera and bad camera pictures.

Mushroom size comparison. Not glued together, so the mushroom is balancing.

Time for finished pictures and detail!

I'ma butt. Yeah, lighting from the window is kinda extreme in some of these pictures.

I went with three mushroom spots because I thought it would look nicer. Also thought this color looked better than yellow spots.

Eyes are pearl because they didn't have white Sculpey =3 I'm proud of those teeth.

Size comparison

Sorry, I like taking loads of different angles

Paras in deep thought.

Adventurin'!

Woof

I must say it's a wrench giving it away. Haha. Holding him is super weird, cuz it really is like having a big bug in your hand.

Ok, so I don't know what else to say except I love comments =)

This is amazing. I see a Pikachu in the background, but that's besides the point.

Great work Livvers, McFox better like this. :p

It's Sculpey. You mold it and then bake it in a normal oven to harden it. I love it cuz it comes in multiple colors.

Lol, the grass was something I made for something else, and realized I could put the Paras on it. Lol.

Sculpey is amazing stuff! I think that's what I used for some stuff I did once when I was bored and sick so I couldn't go to school. I made a cello with it:) and a frog.....

But can you make a tutorial for this or something?

Livvers, you are my hero. I haven't worked with Sculpey in ages, but this inspires me to go out and buy some.

Just what if... we all made the Kanto Pokedex out of clay? If you could do one other Pokemon, what would it be?

I love that little Paras:(.

I'll pay you well for a Nidoking someday:-p, unless you come down here to Miami and we can remove the shipping and handling charges:-p.

That is one awesome Paras. Nice job. I don't think I could handle the clay like that. (Probably end up very malformed)

Wow. This is amazing. It looks like a perfect rendition of Paras in 3D, I love it.

Seriously. I don't know how you did it, that looks so freaking awesome.

Sorry for late responses. Don't have internet at home right now. Thank you everyone for all the nie comments =)

I didn't really do much in the way of tricks. You learn a lot the more you make things. Something you may not have occurred to you at first you'll think of later after something is made and you look at it or after you made a mistake. Also, I used very basic tools for this. Wire cutters, toothpicks for shaping and scratching, and pliers to bend the wire. There's probably good sculpture tutorials online.

Yay inspiration! Well, my favourite pokemon is ninetales, but that would be such a pain. I would probably do it anyways, though. Lol. The tails would make it real easy to be in a standing position. Hm. I might just do it after I'm done settling in to my new apartment.

Visiting from above.
Yes, he's definitely amazing. I don't have him yet, but his name will be

Funghis Khan

I always name my Paras in Pokemon Ghengis, and then Livvers suggested Funghis and I liked it. I LOVE that he stands up.

Mega late response.

But that's sooo cute Liivers. The finished thing is just Paras perfection. :]
