I dont understand why you don't think I'm serious. You do realize that 100 percent of all characters with the same color as pikachu were cut from smash bros? You also realize that not a single yellow character was added in brawl? Why would samurai do those things if he was to add a character with such a similar yellow color to pikachu. These two facts alone clearly point to the fact that Sakurai is not adding anymore yellow characters.

Having Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, and Namco all represented by their mascots in the same game would bring some of the greatest Japanese game developers together in a truly celebratory manner, while still keeping the focus on Nintendo, as Sonic, Mega Man, and Pac-Man are all noteworthy players on Nintendo consoles and fit in perfectly with the rest of the cast.

Does anyone have any dream Pac-Man match-ups besides the obvious Mario, Sonic, and Mega Man? Personally, I'd love to see Pac-Man fight DK, Kirby, Pikachu, and Snake.

The toys thing is actually common knowledge. lol

They make a lot of anime figurines. Specifically Gundam, Naruto, and Dragon Ball.

But they make all the Power Rangers toys and some other stuff.

I kinda want to see 75m and Mario Bros. return to SSB4 as past stages... it seems that there are a lot of balanced stages in SSB4 so how about some unbalanced stages to balance out the stage diversity? And it would be so neat to see three stages based on some of the most famous arcade games in gaming history in SSB4.

Mega Man got the Mega Man 2 version of Wily Castle... Mega Man 2 is arguably the most popular classic Mega Man game. Sonic had Green Hill Zone from the first Sonic game in Brawl. Pac-Man arcade is too iconic... no way would Sakurai pass that up.

I am still a little disappointed that Sega/Sakurai went with Windy Hill Zone from Lost Word instead of something else from the Genesis games... I kinda wanted Mushroom Hill Zone (Sonic & Knuckles) or Casino Night Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog 2)... oh well, I guess Windy Hill Zone aesthetically looks similar to Green Hill Zone so...

I hope Namco/Sakurai don't pick a stage from Ghostly Adventures.

Pretty sure Windy Hill was chosen because of Sega and their insistence on advertising the hell out of everything they can. Namco, on the other hand, has a tendency to emphasize Pac-Man's arcade roots every chance they get. That being said, they are definitely pushing Ghostly Adventures lately, so I think that it's still a real possibility we'll see a stage from that, but a maze stage is still something I find likely.

At the end of the day, all you can really do is hope for the best. I fully expect for there to be many losses for likely characters and wins for unlikely ones in the Debatemania. In the end, it's all supposed to be good fun, and it's not going to determine who gets into the game. Generally, the character who has more points going for them will have a better argument in their favor, but sometimes it will boil down to simply which side is better at arguing or bias among the voters. Don't know how the entire event panned out for Pac-Man, as I didn't pay much attention to it, but I acknowledge my own bias in that I knew from the beginning that it was unlikely either side would change my opinion much.

Actually, it was confirmed before that. I know that they at least did it in the Hana Barbera (am I spelling that right?) cartoons, as my parents played it for me when I was little.

I just don't want it to happen because Pac-Man himself has always been yellow. It's just like Sonic for me; it's confirmed that other hedgehogs (ie Shadow and Silver) can be different colors.

But now that I have beaten the main story, I can slow down and jump back on the pacman railroad. I see we have some new supporters(they have finally come out of hiding from the pac-man haters XD) and more evidence of his possibility in the game just keeps rising. But one question, what is this debatemania? We probably only lost because everyone was against us. But nonetheless, they will all see in due time. When their precious, sheriff, bomberman, waddle dee, and rayman(no offense if you actually support any of these unlikely characters) pipe dreams are put to rest by pac-man's triumphant face, it will be all too sweet.

The debatemania is a semi-serious forum game that attempts to get the best debaters for and against a character and pits them against each other. Their first character was Pac-Man becaues of the controversy surrounding his inclusion.

As a Sheriff and Waddle Dee supporter, I find both of them less likely than Pac-Man. In fact, I think there are very few people who think any of those characters are more likely. Pretty much no one expects or even hopes for Bomberman anymore, from what I can tell.

Pokémon X and Y are awesome, by the way. There should be a Ghost-type based on the Pac-Man ghosts.

Had multiple games on most of Nintendo's consoles (No Game & Watch obviously) before the WiiU and 3DS. Most of them were exclusives. (There was A LOT of Bomberman games on Nintendo consoles by the way) Nintendo and Hudson were buddy buddy before SEGA and Namco even started to work closely with Nintendo. Nintendo made the Wario crossover to HELP SELL Bomberman games on the Gameboy.

The only reason why he's a non factor now is because he's freaking dead.

Eh i dont agree Iv played one game of his and that was Bomberman 64...I think Pac-Mans more memorable than Bomberman I think that Pac-man has earned his place in smash 4.

They both seem to have the same amount of history on the NES.
