Well... we can't have tournaments every weekend.

College kids such as myself are going to be busy with end of the year stuff over the next few weekends.

There are always community events going on during the week.

AS FOR PLAYING/RECORDING... I'll be on and off tomorrow during the day, otherwise Friday afternoon as always is the best time. Tomorrow... if you want to play, contact me during the day and if I'm free we can. I can't keep adding people as I wish I could cause my list is always maxed out now.

Scat has a really good yoshi so if you want to play as Sonic against another character that is solid... that's your best bet. I'll try to do my best with other characters such as bowser and um... um... mario? I'm still trying to find that secondary.

Well yeah thats completely understandable, but i feel like we just hyped up the first tourney ( which i didn't even play in) and thats it lol. What about syz or Fire...? And every time i get on teamspeak no one (but nate) is there so.... just wondering...cause i thouhgt they WERE going to be bi-weekly.

I saw the first of the sonic v. sonic matches listed on the first post (I forget the opponent), and I have a couple of concerns. Although it's not exactly necessary to use Sonic's speed to full advantage, I can't help but feel your sonic game is painfully slow. Maybe this is on purpose to throw other players off, but that's just how I see it. You use your shield A LOT, and as you said potentially predictably. Maybe throw in a couple side steps, rolls etc. to mix up your defensive game.

I didn't see any ATs other than spring shotting, just thought I'd bring that to your attention.

I've been having a ton of success with putting the C-stick to specials. Only reason I mention this is because I saw you short-hop a ton, and rightfully so, but if you're not going to use the shield to Fsmash AT then maybe switching to specials for the short-hop Bair could add more depth to your game.

I like how you Spin dash to Uair, to be honest I haven't been doing that enough with my combo game.
Your use of the Homing attack is excellent.

I think that pretty much covers it for now, hope this helps!

indeed CD good matches. No one ever really plays me alot around where I live, so online is my only discourse atm unfortunately. So I'm thankful for any matches I can grab ^^

And kudos for actually beating my MK with snake, first person to truly do so thus far in 1v1 online.

I'm sure we can all just fight each other and get decent at least. But yea I love my MK. So shiny ^^

I read the MK forum awhile back though and they actually say snake is a counter to MK. Whetehr or not thats true don't really care, just means more practice is needed against him.

But yea that snake vs MK match was really close, you totally deserved the win for pulling it out at the end.

@Everyone I haven't played who has expressed an interest: Most likely I won't be around tomorrow unless you catch me early early in the morning. Feel free to instant message me if you want to try and set something up then. Otherwise, as I've been telling people, Friday afternoon is your best bet. I can't add all of you at the same time cause I don't have enough room unless I start removing regulars that I play online.

If you feel I have forgetten you/your videos, please post away.

Thanks for the feedback. I sorta fight sonics and other fast characters differently than I fight slower characters. I tend to be a little more reactive, at least until I break into a rhythm. Let me know if you feel the same way about my other matches.

On a file note... I host online tournaments through a website that originated as a tournament series here on smashboards before becoming its own site. You should check it out, the link is in my sig.

PS... keep feeling free to use this thread to organize matches with each other when SCAT or myself is not around

I'm pretty sure it's not the DVR your thinking about.....TiVo, amirite?

DVR as in Digital Video Recorder. My camcorder has composite input capability. So it acts as a DVR.

Either way the Quality of the vids are pretty good.

although that obliv guy and me had a bunch of matches after you left and most were pretty intense. His lucas killed me a couple times, and even his fox did once. But I killed him more

good matches Aftermath, I still say delfino is the best though =p although battlefield one cannot ignore as awesome too though.

Anyway though good matches...except those ones we killed ourselves (and by us I mean me mostly) but yea your control of his Up+B is excellent.
