Perhaps you have a bad connection if people are suiciding.I think it's really lame when people run off the stage and kill themselves just because they're losing.
Smh. I keep the footage guys.
Some people are just good with Ganondorf. When someone beats me and then switch to a bad char like(imo) and beat me with him like they're mocking me
Why? It saves timeI think it's really lame when people run off the stage and kill themselves just because they're losing.

Thankfully no, but a handful of people have just given up and jumped off the stage when they're a stock down and I have like 40%. It may be kids for all I know lol I just thought it was kind of annoying. I just feel like, have some respect for both yourself and your opponent and stick it out to the very end.Perhaps you have a bad connection if people are suiciding.
Good point.. issue resolved for me lolWhy? It saves time
I think people play For Glory looking for someone to have a good fight against. It is lame when this someone SD after losing one stock. Why? It saves time
It's one thing to do it right after losing a stock and your at 0-40%. **** is weak. But I think if you're being battered around the stage upwards of 80% by someone you're clearly not gonna beat, there's not much shame in it.I think people play For Glory looking for someone to have a good fight against. It is lame when this someone SD after losing one stock.
I am guilty of this. But what's the point if I struggle so hard and try everything to the point of exhaustion and just die anyway. I cant make a come back anyway so might as well speed the process upI think people play For Glory looking for someone to have a good fight against. This is how I'm thinking on the subject. I usually just suicide by not trying to recover anymore. Like we get it bro. Your edge game is strong. Kill me or gtfo or I'LL gtfoI am guilty of this. But what's the point if I struggle so hard and try everything to the point of exhaustion and just die anyway. I cant make a come back anyway so might as well speed the process up
I'm having a hard time figuring out if it's my 3DS' buttons giving out or lag input loss. Regardless, it's like the "dog ate my homework" of smash. People won't respect it most of the time, but my character really is just NOT doing what I say. Some people beat me so hard that it's unrealistic to think I can even take a single stock. In those cases I just SD. Some matches lately have had me flying everywhere without getting a single hit in. Random hiccups and lag spikes also make spot dodging or turning around or even perfect shield very difficult as the lag eats my command. It allows people to hit when they shouldn't and then it becomes annoying
I would rather not give up and try to make a comeback. Even if don't, I am sure I am still learning new stuff. On top of that, I think self destructing after the opponent did their best to win against you is a tad disrespectful.I am guilty of this. But what's the point if I struggle so hard and try everything to the point of exhaustion and just die anyway. I cant make a come back anyway so might as well speed the process up
Yes, because only males play Super Smash Bros.with him.
Wasn't trying to assume anything, but I do suicide at times if the connection is just unbearable and the game is freezing.Thankfully no, but a handful of people have just given up and jumped off the stage when they're a stock down and I have like 40%. It may be kids for all I know lol I just thought it was kind of annoying. I just feel like, have some respect for both yourself and your opponent and stick it out to the very end.
I feel like there's only so much respect you can expect out of a random online matchup. Obviously don't do that **** while fighting someone who took the time to add your scrub-ass friend code just to fight you, but it's not like you can't find another opponent. If I'm destroying some poor fool named Chri$69 I don't think I'd feel all that disrespected if he wanted to SD/DC. Respect assumes a certain level of quality to a match. How offended would you really be if you're clearly going to win?self destructing after the opponent did their best to win against you is a tad disrespectful.
You bring fair points, but I still prefer to not SD. If my opponent SD, then that is their problem, though.I feel like there's only so much respect you can expect out of a random online matchup. "Him" is normally used as a universal singular pronoun. And "them" would have been grammatically incorrect.Yes, because only males play Super Smash Bros.
I don't know exactly what you're asking here.Would it be considered more disrespectful for one to SD or to disconnect mid-match, and by the end of the match you know you're fighting a bot? Or perhaps both are equally frustrating?
"Him" is normally used as a universal singular pronoun. And "them" would have been grammatically incorrect.
No, it isn't. Him refers to male people only. Female people play Smash Bros, so the correct term IS them."Him" is normally used as a universal singular pronoun. And "them" would have been grammatically incorrect.
You could take a look over here where players are suggesting there are bots in online modes.Alternatively: Why do people connect and then not attack? I swear I have gone through matches where literally, before ever fighting me at all, my opponent just sits there and only tries to recover. It's obviously not a rage thing. Like damn dude I don't know what your damage is but don't waste my time. My options are: SD and have it count as a loss, or try to ****ing beat you which could take a while because I suck at killing strikes.
I suppose this might be why I don't exactly fit in with better players but I find most B attacks mediocre at best, of course with the exception of UpB for recovery.counters.
using that down special, or side special more than needed.
timed smash for glory >.>
Basically, do you dislike it more when people SD to end the match, or just outright leave to let you fight a bot the rest of the match?I don't know exactly what you're asking here.
Also, either is grammatically correct, though I prefer "them". Why are we nitpicking this
Huh, I didn't know about the bot thing. Weird. You could take a look over here where players are suggesting there are bots in online modes.

And I dunno, Reila thought it was a point to nitpick so I made a point to nitpick back.
"Them" as a singular pronoun is not acceptable grammar. What you are referring to is the usage of him or her when referring to an unknown or unspecified gender. Many people decide to choose a gender for the unspecified gender due to it being a natural and familiar pronoun. Most people don't type out "s/he" or "hir" or "zhim". Those are unnatural words in the dialogue of our brains. No, it isn't. Him refers to male people only. Female people play Smash Bros, so the correct term IS them.
That sounds like me...I'm so bad at this game.I find it annoying when people randomly throw out smashes just hoping you run into them. Looks so bad when they never hit.
Lolz, nothing to backup his "claim?" Not only was it likely speculation, the same exact thing you are doing. There is no in-game communication that is possible when it comes to online atm so we all can only guess at who you are playing, what their current emotion is. where they are playing at, why they play (for fun?casual?comp?etc). Some dude could have had to go back to work after his lunch break smash like I sometimes do, maybe the opponents internet took a.dump, or like others said ending on a high note. Whether you take the game seriously or not ........no one enjoys losing, and yeah sure sometimes you learn from the defeats, but that does not make it any less.of a bummer lolYou can't say "it has nothing to do with..." with nothing to backup your claim but regardless it was just something that's annoying and laugh worthy.
I fight enough low & lag less people that if one of these dial up ******** come in I suicide and get out. Had one Bowser player who I decided to fight it out with was unbearable. That one person who joins the match and brings all the lag with him.

Yep, no matter how bad you're getting your ass beat there's always a chance for a comeback. I had this one japanese player beat the sht outta me yesterday with only 33% by the time he took my first stock (admittedly I wasn't paying much attention) but I somehow came back and won. There isn't much reason to self destruct when most games don't last very long, unless you get one of those trash defensive players who roll around all dayThankfully no, but a handful of people have just given up and jumped off the stage when they're a stock down and I have like 40%. Yeah all this rage quitting and these salty ditto battles are definitely a growing trend, but, I'm pretty sure most people will eventually realize it's kinda petty. This has happened to me twice. First one was a rage quit the other day after he lost a stock at low percents. Other one was a guy I was playing several matches in a row with (like 10 or something?) a little bit ago who saw me swap to Lucina and SD'd so that he could try his Lucina vs. mine.
I think my biggest pet peeve is the lack of Stock representation in the online mode. Yes, 1v1 is Stock and I'm happy about that, but I wouldn't mind some Team Stock or FFA Stock.
