Hi, I was just wondering if there are any other Onimusha fans here. I've been a huge fan ever since I saw the trailer for Demon Siege. I like the other games in the series too so feel free to discuss them as well. ^_^

Wow. I havnt played them in forever, but I beat them all and always loved the series. Jean Reno was beast with his whip and gun. And I remember falling in love with ... wow I forgot her name. I feel shame. Ninja girl from Dawn of Dreams.

I use to have them all but sadly they are no longer with me. I always loved the secret costumes and stuff you could unlock. Samanosuke's panda suit ftw.

I've never beaten any of the other ones, just Demon Siege. I found Warlords last month at Funcoland but I haven't had time to play it.

btw, aren't you in the Hnk Fan Club? ^_^

Yes, I thought that was it but I was confusing myself with the other Yagyu. As for the games, It's a long story with a sad end.

I never beat the first one, but after playing and beating 2 and 3, I re-played 1 and breezed through it. I think cause when I played the first one I was still really young and not as good at gameing yet. XD I loved that guy that would pop up hanging upside down to take you to the other world.

I believe I am. WAH-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TAAA!!!!

I only have Dawn of Dreams, but man that game is fun. The little puzzle boxes where awesome

My one regret was that I was really bad at using Robert.

I loved Robert. He is a powerhouse and a half. I remember clearing the um... whats it called. ****, its been too long. The Dark world or somthing, I beat it with Robert way too easy. He was my best in all the games by far.

Yeah, I forgot that little guy's name too. The first time he popped up he scarred the crap out of me. XD

I keeping hearing rumors about a part 5. Do you know anything about that?

Yeah, I remember jumping back the first time I saw him drop down suddenly. I thought he was an enemy.

I havn't heard anything about it, but I would love it if they did bring a new one out. I would prolly go and buy them all. I think they have the Onimusha pack at the Gamestop over here, which has the first three, and the forth I can find almost anywhere around here. I still have Blade Warriors too. Lawls at ExE Megaman.

I think my fav.s in Blade Warriors was Gargant and Gogandantes. "I AM GOGANDANTES! THE GREATEST SWORDSMAN OF THE DEMON WORLD!" Gotta love that oaf. He was really funny in Destiny. And Gargant is just insane.

Atm, all I need is the second one. I'm replaying Demon Siege now. It kinda funny that I'm better at doing Criticals and Deflect-Criticals now than I was some years ago. I bought the game back in '04 and played it everyday faithfully until a couple years ago. The only time I would pull one of them off was on accident. Now, I can do Deflects with no problem and Criticals every once in awhile.

Same thing with me and the first game. Playing other games up'ed my reflexes alot. Criticals are so insanely effective. I can't beleive I played so much of the game without ever doing them right before. Chain Crits are amazing. I love seeing my guy cut through everyone on the entire screen in one quick go.

I rather like the criticals too, I just do them randomly :3 I just play to kill some demons and have fun doing it, am I a noob?

Yeah, I'm still working of the Chain Criticals. SM5 is helping me with that.

Killing demons is fun. I loved in Dawn the huge demon war part. That was awesome. Crit wave through EVERYBODY! I also remember getting Crit.ed by a boss. ....that hurt... alot. I only played co-op in it for that Dark World thing. My buddy always wanted to do that to stock up on exp. and have fun. You got alot of strong enemies in there.

True dat, me and my friend always used the coop magic thing to clear out the massive groups of foes. Oh, I hated those giant genma that shoot out them large shockwaves, that mess hurted

O_o I've never played through Dawn and sure as heck didn't know that Boss' could Critical you.

Yeah, it hurt... lots. I think nearly an auto kill and the 'humanoid' bosses can do it on harder difficulty settings. It turned me extremely cautious during any boss fight. Ranmaru pulled it off on me once. I got so mad.

I never knew Ranmaru could do those either. I would normally try to kill him before he had a chance to do anything special. Wait, are you talking about Demon Siege or Dawn's Bosses?

Both. Rannie-poo would randomly do it to me if I had a combo going for too long. Appeantly he didn't like that too much. Luckily in Dawn you could out crush alot of the bosses without setting yourself up for a nasty counter. And Oni mode was always just so amazing. There was no stoping it.

You're right, I just remembered that. Stupid Ranmaru. Sadly, I have not unlocked Oni mode yet. I lost my memory card that had all of my hard work on there so now I have to start over. Its okay though because I know how to do everything from memory so its all good.

That always sucks. Luckily I have all my data from all the Onimusha games on three seperate memory cards. I suffered lost memory too much in the past. I play it safe now. Oni mode is the coup' de' gra. Makes me feel like yelling out, "HULK SMASH" every time.

I haven't played that mode before, I mostly watched my friend(SonicMaster5) and my sister play it(not the mode, the game). How good is it, can someone post a vid of it played on that mode?

:/ I wish I could play it too. Soul sucking gauntlet/hand ftw. I would put a link to it, but the internet doesnt seem to be liking me much right now. I shall play Devil May Cry and pretend its Onimusha. Problem solved! SAMANOSUKE!! IM COMING!

I just went in search for this occasion, and I found a new avatar that I will change into in a moment. The mighty Oni power is unbeatable.

Actually my birthday is coming up soon, I'll let everyone know they can get me all the Onimusha series for pretty cheap. This could work. I'll be back and able to go into crazed school-girl mode.

That was cool. Although, I wonder how you could cut someone with your fist =D I favored Jubei's sword that shot out these giant waves, I could attack from anywhere. Jubei mah girlfwend =D

Roberto defies all logic like that, his arms are powered by a force unkown to humans. That's why he needs those bracers. He packs heat in those guns. T . T I really want to play it again now but I can still ease of with my DMC. They have really similar feels to 'em, but DMC has Pandora. Greatest weapon ever concieved, EVER! And also Dante is much cooler than any Onimusha character, except Jean Reno of course. He was The Professional.

Nice vid. Roberto is too goodz. Its easier to do Criticals on Dawn than on part 3. But they're more graphic on 3. ^_^

Yeah, I noticed that too. It's much smoother. I remember taking a really long time, practicing on one enemy over and over to get the timing right for it.

I loved 3's opening movie. Still one of my fav. scenes in any game to date.

I loved it. It had the little panda plushie hanging on it and also the flower for the gauntlet's orb. It was so random and pandas are adorable. Sure made playing the game again ... 'diffrent'.

No tenkai peeps here? him and soske are the only ones I can complete the 100lvs with.
Roberto's theme song is good, but he has little range, and that becomes a problem the further down you get.

Best character in the series was Magowichi
