I am starting a new weekly event at underground gaming (located in la Vista,13829 Millard Ave) on Fridays unless otherwise announce.
The event will start at 5:00pm for sign ups and actual tournament will start at 6:00pm.
The reason why I am starting earlier, is so the event can not run so late and I am offically adding doubles and a crew battle into the event.
Just like the Wesley's Weeklies I will be using the same concept for games being played.
The first week will be a Melee only tournament
The second week will be a Project Melee only tournament
The third week will finish out with a Smash 4 tournament.
After those 3 weeks are over, there will be no Friday tournaments.
Then on the final Saturday of the month, or announced otherwise, I will be hosting a smash tournament with all 3 games on one day.
How Midman's Weeklies will Work
There will be a venue fee but many ways around it.
The upfront cost will be $3
Ways to bypass the venue fee:
-If you bring a full working set up for the game that is being played that night there is no charge.
(Project melee - Wii With game)
(Melee - Wii or gamecube with game)
(Smash 4 - Wii U WITH a gamecube adaptor)
-If you bring a set up for a game that is not being played that night but set up for friendlies. Only have to $1 for entry fee.
-Buying something from the concessions stand located in front of the store.
Can be pretty much anything, Drink, Food, Cards, etc.
What ever game I will be hosting that Friday, I will have the set rules in the Facebook event Page which if the a majority of the community want something changed, I can change it. And I will be posting the info of the events on here as well as what games will be being played.

Singles
1st: $30
2nd: $20
3rd: $10
4th: $5
Doubles
1st: $10 Each
2nd: $5 Each
3rd: $2 Each
Crew battle
Team that wins, each player will get $1
How The monthly will work
The Venue Fee Rules will follow exactly like the weeklies. Except if you bring any Full set up, no venue fee.
But to enter any game it will cost $5 which will be divided out among the winners.
Pot Bonus + entry fee:
These will work a lot more differently then the Friday weeklies.
Singles
1st: $60 + 60% entry fee
2nd: $40 + 30% entry fee
3rd: $20 + 10% entry fee
4th: $10
Hopefully this will start up the community more and help the smash community grow in the Omaha area.
