I was pretty shocked myself, though I did hang out with Ian Winter last night for like 2 hours but all we played was MVC2, which is better than MvC3 IMO, but that's just because I'm sideways8 times better at that game than 3, I'll admit it. Previously I hung with Echo and Dan on Monday and tuesday I had a 103 degree fever.

SMYM Update:
Smeesh beat nobody [good] and lost to PEEF (2-1) and ? ? ?. Placed 25th or 33rd.
JBM beat nobody [good] and lost to MattR (2-1) and Dart (2-0). Placed 25th or 33rd.
Bolun and Jake both got last in their pools so they didn't make bracket.
Darkrain won without even struggling for a second. It was brutal...

EDIT: Since I missed SMYM for no particular reason, I'm going to every tournament you guys decide to go to for 2011. I sat in my room regretting not going to SMYM. I don't wanna feel this again.

Good/known referred more to top players in the area more than anything or at least people who have placed decent on a fairly consistent basis [or have placed well in the past]. Didn't mean to hurt feelings, this is just how I think things work out.

Hey guys, I know you've all been having the urge to finally go to a MN tourney, and now's your chance!

April 2nd-3rd Combo Breaker will be taking place up in the Twin Cities. If you've ever been to a Raging Storm Tourney, it's a very similar feel: smash plus tons of other games.
