i may have a couple of of scrubs in training from norman show up saturday, coty. i've invited 4, we'll see how many of them show up.

I've been reading here for a while, but this is my first post. This event is an amazing opportunity! I am going to try to get my 3 smash friends and I to go. We are supposed to be leaving on a trip for spring break but i think this may convince them to wait a day

Sweet, any of you mugs wanna learn ICs, Jiggs, GaW, or Roy, theres no better person to go to for that. Kuni and Brett play better roys, but I image brett wont be there and Kuni will be teaching people to be gay, so yah.

ok, new idea... ill put up characters that I think that everybody would be the most helpful for (for teaching purposes) and you peoples can say "also this character" or "minus this character" or whatever.. you get it : P

and, i think i can teach some marth stuff. i beat the marth of OK in a ditto the other day, so i have to get SOME resect points out of that
also, like i said, anyone ho's good with fox (coty/kuni/chris/?), please gimme like 30 minutes to learn some things. i'm looking into fox as a new main, and so far i'm pretty good with him, better than everything but marth/sheik/cfalc, so we'll see where it goes.
edit: i almost forgot, i have a mean ganon.

this is also part of the idea... PR holders CAN take some time of their own to learn from others if you want. for instance, i might want to go play with chris and learn peach... of course i'd have to say goodbye to my heterosexuality, but still...

If I'm able to make it, I'm going as a full-fledged "trainee". I want to learn everything all the PR holders have to offer Well, except Paemon, he'll purposely teach me wrong

Hi to you, as well! I use bowser almost exclusively, with pikachu and mario when i feel like a change. Out_Law is one of my friends that i was talking about, so he and I and two others will definately be coming!
And i dont know if this is worth mentioning, but i go to UCO and there is a small smash bros tourney being held here on march 20 at Murdaugh Hall lobby at 5pm. I wont be able to make it this year, but last year, honesly, most of the people there were just c-stick spamming Fox noobs.
But if anyone is interested the address of Murdaugh Hall at UCO is

There are no good pics of marth >.<...ask Alex edit: No shanx, ask him about there being no good marth pics. I looked for like a week and I couldn't make a tag like he wanted cause of it.
Oh and one last thing.
Whoever's doing this at OU and is ordering pizza, I'm letting you all know now I'm going to be donating 10 dollars to help pay for it. It's not much, but whatever.

I think last year the organizer said the residence hall guys didnt like the idea of them playing for money so the tournament was just for fun, which i assume is the case this year. Don't go if you are expecting money ><
as long as i am remembering some bad stuff from the tourny, i think i recall they dont play by normal tournament rules so its a very nooby event.

ill be there as long as they dont ban characters...thats like the epitome of gay.
and even if they do ill still go since i doubt they will ban who i use...
i just hope theres no items. but, i did play with items long enough to learn how to use them, and items are just like missiles anyway lol.

Last time I was there they played two tournements. One with items and one without.

Big update guys, updated section in yellow. I also made what was the introduction into a mission statement
make sure you read the update.
on the characters bit, i added jigglypuff to my list... again, this is more about what you know rather than your specific skill... i know a lot about shiek and puff though my marth is a lot better than my puff and probably pretty close to my shiek
BUT. I was thinking today and there is a problem with the pizza idea... no outside food or drinks in the sooner room (and probably the union as well) the point is, it might look like outside food if me or andy or anyone else walks in with ten boxes of pizzas if you know what i mean. I discussed this wish alex, and so far all we could think of is...
1. Picnic: As in get the pizza and eat it outside somewhere, not a bad idea, but, we'd have to do it in like halves or shifts or whatever because we can't leave all of our equipment unsupervised
2. Going somewhere: This presents the same problem as picnic, some people would have to stay behind and watch over our stuff.
We need more ideas about what to do, I'm determined that we will have free food and drink, so help me out people... no matter what we do, there WILL be free food, lol

One of our friends is also coming with us. He hasn't really chosen a name yet and he is now in our crew. So in all 5 people our coming from PV.

maybe we could sneak in some fast food in like, backpacks or something, but we probably shouldn't, since they are allowing us to use their room we should respect their rules.
we could just divide all driving smashers into two groups, and then randomly(or not) allocate people to each group, they leave at the same time, go to taco bell or something. the problem with that is that i dont know my way around Norman, and i assume non Normans wont either....
so all that leaves us with is picnic...we could make a list of what people want, aka pizza or taco bell, then a few people go get it...one Norman guy and one driving guy, or possibly one in the same...that would probably be easiest.
