I don't think we'll be making the trek to OK anytime soon. We can't afford to go to tourneys that often. Is anyone from OK going to OC2?

i do not condone the use of paul oakenfold in anything i am a part of.
he *******ized and sold out techno. arg.
but, oh well, if it's your song that you choose, i'll just remember to watch that part of the video muted.

i hope rasta gets back soon, since people need to know when. kos-mos, when do you have to know the date of the tourny so you know what day to work? we'll call that day the deadline, and if rasta isn't back to agree on changing the date to the 29th by then, we should go ahead and confirm the 22nd as the tourny date, to allow people a little bit of time to make plans accordingly.

There are two different Ready-steady-go songs Reno thats a different from the anime FMA. Whats wrong with Paul Oakenfold!!? I was thinking of using that one. >_> But I have another choice XD.

sorry, i'm a long time fan of european techno, like, dj tiesto, bt, cosmic gate, and paul oakenfold kinda started making general crappy music based on other people's beats and kind of setting the stage for american techno to follow.

i was happy when darude's sandstorm came out, people were f'ing crazy about it. it was kind of a one-hit-wonder for him, but for a year, people heard real techno, and that made me happy.


speaking of cosmic gate, one of their songs is in the top 10 for what i'll use for the vid.
the song is like, 2:14, so hopefully i can get that extra 14 seconds on the vid for the whole song to play XD



edit: i have live concert cd's(about 77 minutes long each, nonstop) of dj tiesto, felix da housecat, atb, blank and jones, delirium, protishead, imogen heap, dj shadow, dj yahel,fischerspooner, massive attack, prodigy, orbital and paul van dyk.

so if anyone likes trip-hop, techno, electronica, hardcore, or electroclash, tell me and i'll burn you some stuff.

oh man, back when i was into trance and techno they were some of my favorite. i cant remember who else i like, but man. i like that song, ahh, resurection i think. by ppk. there were a bunch of otheres, but i dont remember.

i also used to like eurobeat, and then eurodance after a while. for some reason i just kinda lost interest in it, but that was only maybe 3 months back.

and yeah sandstorm is great, but noone else ive supplied it to has seemed to like it.

the only song i can remember from cosmic gate i liked is exploration of space. and this one remix of human beings...

edit - if its not too much trouble, reno, could you burn some of that for me, ill give you cds, but i just wanna hear it again. but yeah just burn whatever i guess.

and i was recommended trip hop, but never really explored it

we have just had our deadline announced! and it is tomorrow! unfortunately i dont think rasta is getting back until friday, which is not tomorrow. so i think that means that its gonna be on the 22nd, BUT dont hold me to it! or count me rseponsibe in anyway if the aforementioned date somehow manages to screw the whole thing up.

trip-hop is good. i don't like too much mellow music besides folk, but i am a big fan of portishead and massive attack. i'll burn you a few cd's, 1 of them being a dj tiesto live cd. it'll probably be magic, that's my favorite one, but i have 5, so i dunno. and, yeah, i have no more cd's, so at the next smashfest/tourny, just give me 3 or 4 cd's and then the following time i see you i'll have that many techno cd's. one of them will probably be the magic concert from dj tiesto, but, i have 5 of his live concerts, so i might pick another one.

exploration of space is their biggest hit, i'll probably use "tomorrow" if i use a cosmic gate song, and have zinth edit out the beginning of the song with the bill clinton quote, considering, although it sounds wise in context, the quote is from him in court trying to weasel his way out of lying under oath.

Yeah, on all of them. Well, the videos that show up correctly are Zinth(Marth)vsScud(Falco)1,2,&3 and WhiteMarthShadevsRedMarthZinth.

Those are the only 4 that show up right for me.

It might. Try using iTunes and see if that makes it any different.

Yo, you guys mind if some of my friends come with me to the Smashfest? Three(maybe four) of my friends wanna come to. I haven't played two of them in a while so I dunno if they are good or not, and my other friend is about the same skill as me.

Also, they brought something to my attention I didn't ask before. Is there like an entry fee or anything for the Smashfest? (Sorry if it is stupid question, but I've never been to a smashfest or anything before)

the only time people ever bring money for smashfests is if they want to order pizza or something. other than that, it's hosted for free

and people are ALWAYS welcome at smashfests (as long as there are enough cubes and televisions and room).

anytime anyone can bring supplies to a smashfest or especially the tourny, it is greatly appreciated.
does rasta have a cell? and if so, no one knows his #? can you somehow contact him pay$?
i just want the date of the tourny to be decided by rasta, and not by a time constraint.
