Heh, I just posted in the NPM II thread, but due to work johns it looks like March 27th probably wouldn't actually work for me at this point. March 20th would probably work though.

Making it a week later would also work, for me at least.

toph correct me if im wrong.

there should be a smash fest @ toph's apt also
called uw on february26th.

you and your 5 homies should come.

typically from 3-3ish. just bring controllers and good
attitudes.

eggz probably has controllers you can buy at fair market value

Hey, I've got a rules question. Basically, I bought some used controllers a few weeks ago, and shortly after starting to use them the rubber covering over the top of the analog stick fell off of two of them. More recently, the top of the C-stick came off of one of them.

Now, I'm really lazy, and would rather just deal with broken controllers than actually bother to obtain good ones.

So my question is: do these broken, shoddy controllers count as "modded", and would they be considered illegal for use in tourneys? As far as I can tell, they're original Nintendo controllers that must have been shoddily rebuilt after having been heavily worn by previous owners.

Uh, I'll think about it I guess. You guys build your own Frankenstein controllers out of parts from many others, right?

I guess my main issue with selling them would be needing to get replacements.

Maybe fix one sell one sell both, fix both, steal parts from shane and call it karma.

Its all good.

in the words of adam brown, in the words of shane

thats whats up.

there's really only one person who steals controllers -_-

and paff, using a ****ty controller is nowhere close to constituting using a modded controller lol

I feel you will be disappointed,
@otto im watching my little brother I don't know when my parents are coming back.
surprisingly not, the Chrises are quite good. Toph for being top tier, played exceptionally well for a tourney that has lot of good players, not to mention its the first time Paff and him play with BC crews. The turn out didnt go too well and thats because victoria bailed but stuff do happen so dont blame them. i tried my best to run that tournament and make it good, i just hope brawl on sunday will be at least half decent.

the next BIG tournament in BC will be April 3rd and 4th, again 2 days event with melee and brawl. this time 5 Victoria guys will not bail because we will have 6+ brawl players from the states, 8+ melee/brawl players from kelowna and possibly 3-4 players from alberta for smash, and ofcourse WA melee crews.

I estimate to have about 45 melee players and 30 brawl players and maybe 8 n64 smashers, all together with 12+ stations.

i hope u guys can get passport by then.

also good stuff @ Paff getting 3rd for melee beginners.
