I have a question regarding Pokémon Stadium. Can you change the textures of the red and yellow stuff somehow?

If I really like a texture, lets say a blue Marth texture, and I want to replace it with a green Marth texture, could I just change the name of the file from PlMsNr.dat to PlMsGr.rat (in my case I want to switch it to R alternate)?

It's somewhere in Character Select Screen codes if I remember right. Then you have to turn custom metal textures on and set it to that color. I got it by:
R:100
B:0
G:0

Ok Thanks, I found the line in the hex editor I need to change, I just need to find what the correct numbers are for white for this color format thing RR GG BB. The line it says to change is 00 6E 00. So how do I change that to white? I tried messing around with the 00 6E 00 and then saving it and putting the edited one in through Dat Texture Wizard. But I got no result, it stayed green.

Ya I am making the colors for Teams Red-White-Blue instead of Red-Green-Blue for a colorblind version of melee(For people with Red-Green colorblindness like me). I did rush the textures tho, its not fancy. How do I put images directly on the forum like other people do? Do I need to upload it through a link through somewhere else? I haven't used forums very much.

I am either being really dumb or its not showing up for me, all I see next to post Reply is the more options, and the more options just takes me to another page where it isn't showing the words "upload a file" near post reply, and I check all the icons above like the image next to the smile face. I dont have to get approved before I can upload files or anything like that? Says the website uses like a flash based uploader 2 in my prefences.

racer550 here, i was able to switch g&w's color in about 10 minutes. you switch the 00 6E 00 to FF FF FF. i also went into the MnSlChr.usd and made the texture white. if you need anything else, i'm down to help; i think a colorblind build is really cool and helpful

Any chance you can make this costume for red Falcon, too? I can't seem to get it to work using the Character Color Converter. The textures for the clothes work as intended but the shoulder pad and gun are still there...

Make sure it's the hack pack and not Tournament edition.

If you have 20XX 4.05 you can access the metal textures by just pressing Up on the DPAD

You can change the color of the metal texture on the debug menu

How does one add additional textures? I'm talking like Yakult 's HBOX puff, normally you cant add textures where he added a beard, how does one do that?

Minerali If I remember I didn't add additional textures as such, but there are some unused textures in Jigglypuff's file which I used for other things. Specifically, Jiggs has two 128x128 eye textures which I'm certain she doesn't use, and instead uses a third slightly different eye texture which is placed twice for her two eyes. So these two textures are free to do whatever you like with. I used one of the 128x128 eye textures on her body instead of her 4x4 pink texture so I could make the beard, and the second eye texture I used to to make the second half of hb's face (it had to mirror and not repeat).

If you click on a texture in DTW and click properties it shows you a list of where that texture is being used in a file which looks like:
At 0x5db8: 00011b60000400040000000e
At 0x5e78: 00011b60000400040000000e
etc

The long number refers to the texture, and the short number is where it's placed, eg left side of face. It takes some trial and error to work out which part of the model each short number refers to.

If you want to rearrange which textures go where you can just highlight and copy the long number and paste it into another short number's long box, hit enter then save. DTW as always makes it really easy.

Sorry if you knew all of that But it might be helpful for other people.

The short answer is that I didn't add additional textures, there are just spare ones in Jigglypuff's file and I moved them around a bit.

So a year ago or so I was working on a few texture edits. One for Dreamland and one for Fox. Anyway, a problem I was never able to solve was the leaves that blow with the wind on Dreamland do not display properly. They always ended up as dark greenish squares. Does anyone know what might cause that? If not is there an easy way for me to just outright remove them from the stage so there are no leaves?
