http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=971 - :(

Extremely basic, just four 1x1 blocks spaced 2 units apart.

http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=970 - ++++++++++++

Twelve + shapes. Fun to play tag in.

http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=969 - LOL @ GANONDORF

All falling blocks except for a couple of moving platforms. It's nice with characters like Diddy Kong because they can drop blocks with projectiles.

http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=963 - RANDOMROFLXD

All randomly placed moving platforms except for a few 1x1 blocks.

Those last 4 stages were not made for serious fighting, they're more or less for screwing around. Now for my actual stages.

http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=968 - ST20080521202509

http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=967 - ST20080514004741

http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=966 - ST20080512210016

http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=964 - ST20080508173941

If I can't think of a name, I don't bother changing it from the default. I like playing on all 4 of these stages, especially the first one.

And, as an added bonus: http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=965 - 3 Battlefields

I'm trying to make a Gyromite stage for R.O.B., since he doesn't have one. :(

It will be like this, but more less of a maze and more KO room.

Hey, you stole my idea! Haha!
Check this out just made it the other day:

http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=984

It didn't allowme to fill the bottom with blocks, I guess I used up 2 much memory for that stage--but I managed 2 get a floating platform in--so it's a remix of Gyromite, Phase 01, which is what I called it: Phase 01. :) It's hard to K.O. someone, as expected when surrounded by a bunch of walls, but in sudden death it doesn't take as long as you might expect.

edit: More stages of mine.

Greek Pillar: http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=990
This is a pretty plain stage, but two things make it kind of unique. 1) A middle-sized pillar is in the middle of the stage, making it so you have to go aerial at least some what to get to the other side. Three platforms in a battle-field like formation are around the top of the pillar, making jumps not to extreme. 2) There aren't grabbable ledges, so tetherer's may be outta luck here.

Sky Arena: http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=985
This, in my opinion, is a fun stage. The main platform is pass through (omg!), with spikes below to punish any one who decides to make a foolish decision by passing through. However, the spikes are a bit further down than you might expect, so it is possible to easily evade them. The passthrough platform makes it easier to preform aerials without as much danger as your opponet getting a whack at ya--but they can do the same... Above the main platform are three smaller passthroughs. The left and right are slanted inwards, ad the upper most center one is flat. On either side of the main platform are slanted brick (unpassable) structures, with vertical moving platforms above it. In between the spikes and these slanted bricks is a small gap, possible to score a K.O. through. Over all I think this is a fairly balanced stage and is also fun to play on, give it a try!

Viridian Nuetral: http://smashboards.com/stagebrowser.php?do=view&stageid=982
I don't feel like explaining any more...so go check it out! It's based on Lt. Surges gym from pkmn red/blue/yellow. It's called neutral because it has a lot less obstacles than the previous version of it, which I simply titled viridian Gym.

A stage based on a part of Mother 3 that may have some minor spoilers.
A heart. basically all I can come up with to use the Mother 3 Love theme before the above idea came into my head.
Stage I randomly made (as in improvised).
An excuse to use the Route 209 theme on a stage.

I have more, but the stage browser won't let me upload it because it thinks I changed the name of the file for some reason. If I find a way, I'll try uploading them. Anyways tell me what you think.

Edit: Uploaded the rest.
I made this so that I could use the Snowman music.
I made this based on :******:
I liked the Team Galactic theme so I made a stage for it.

More edit: This was the first stage I made. Didn't plan on it really, just forced to by brother's friend.
Based this on the spot you find Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave. Hadn't gone there in a while, so I couldn't really copy it perfectly. Falling blocks there to pretend to be rocks falling from ceiling.

Another edit: Meh I uploaded 3 more versions of Mewtwo's spot. One front view that's closer to the look from Fire Red/Leaf Green, one back view so it includes the rocks next to Mewtwo, and one side view. Go check them out in my profile since I'm too lazy to link them all.

I did mention making 3 more versions of Mewtwo's spot in my last edit. I'll post links to them this time.

For this, I tried making it more accurate by looking at a picture of the spot from Fire Red.
This is in the inner part so it includes the rocks next to Mewtwo and the thing you couldn't climb on to from the game.
This is a side view of the spot.

The first one that I put in the last post was more like a reimagining since I had no references to make it. I prefer the second and the fourth spot. What I like about the second is that it's closer to the game and it doesn't have the falling blocks which were in the first as a gimmick. The fourth one (side view) I like because it lets you walk up the stairs, and as an added bonus, first player spawns on the exact block Mewtwo stands on while the challenger would spawn on the stairs.

An insanely awesome stage. Using a Code Device called "Ocarina" I was able to overlap objects and place as many as I wanted to. This will be updated with an improved version in the future. Don't claim as your own.
-Level Made By Turbohog
-Special Thanks to Creator of Ocarina and PizzaBoy for making the actual codes used to create this.

Here are some custom stages I made.

Name: Echoplex
This stage has a lot of walls and has a meaning for it to be shaped like that.

Name: Head Down
This stage has a G shaped part in it, and looks really cool and is really fun to play on.

Name: Death Freeze
Ah yes, a stage my brother made. Quite tricky to play on.

To download these stages, click the word 'download' in my sig.
Plus, there's more stages than that.

Hello all, I'm CyberGlitch, not the most active member on these boards, but one nonetheless.

I do love making stages, particularly ones that can be played on competitively. I plan to release my stages soon (I need to beta test a few still, haha).

I am also planning on writing a Stage Making FAQ, which should have a lot of useful info for newcomers and experienced builders alike. Hopefully I'll get that done in the next few weeks.

@KSUkid, the niche under the pass-through sections could be a problem for camping as you've mentioned, but the ledges down there are grabable, making the area more approachable than just a divit under a fall through platform.

The block platform, however, is too close to the blocks on the right and left. Fortunately, all your problems can be relieved by moving those lower block platforms down one unit (exchange those two blocks in the middle with a 2x2 block). This spaces it from the blocks to the right and left, makes the platform more approachable from above and below to prevent spammers, and further endorses the purposes of those platforms which should be to provide alternate means of recovery (without moving them down, they aren't much help as an alternate edge to grab).

Unfortunately, with the platform lowered, none of the platforms at the top can be reached by two jumps from it (a full jump goes 1.5 units up, the second jump goes another 1.5, totalling 3. The platforms are 3.5 above it). Lowering the platforms at the sides half a unit would allow them to be reached from the lower platform, but as you said this would cramp the stage. I would instead suggest you move the top platform down 1.5 units, putting it half a until below the side platforms. This way one of the platforms is reachable from the lower area, the platforms are no longer too high, and the issue of it being too much like battlefield is eliminated.

I really like this idea, and with my suggestions I think it's a great stage. Give it a name so I can officially add it to the ones I play! I hope my lengthy advice is helpful.
I should look for replies more often <_<;

I'm not sure if I followed your advice, but the stage has changed (for the better?) since I first conceived it. Here's a dl link (I'm stuck with AiB for now) followed by a gameplay link:

http://www.allisbrawl.com/stages/stage.aspx?id=1874
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsteezaE6aU

I boosted the size to a medium, which let me widen it to right about what Melee's FD was. The platforms above are as close to the height I'd like them to be (because the strict placements are either too high or too low every time) and are all reachable by anyone who can traverse the Battlefield platforms (though they are slightly higher and wider).

Widening the stage helped immensely, allowing the second ledge to be a little further back and down. It's narrow ground on that lower ledge, if anything dissuading camping it by lowering mobility.

I'm still wondering why they don't have one-way floors as an option.

Odd how this thread isn't that popular despite recent developments in hacking Brawl. I mean, getting rid of the ridiculous boundaries for structures, placing slopes inside each other, thereby making much more original and flowing stages, and even the ability to place objects slightly outside the boundaries. All with no limit on pieces.

Seriously, no reason why this thread isn't being attacked with these new hacked custom stages. I mean, they work on unhacked Wii's flawlessly(sans computer AI, they can't handle it for some reason and like to hang in one area).

That said, I'll be posting my own soon, when I've made around five. With so much freedom, I want to create really good stages, y'know?

I've got this stage called Final Grounds, basically large with two solid platforms waaaaay above the main stage and slopes that stop grabbing them-- unless you have multiple jumps or a great UpB, you have to take platforms to the top, which is great for vertical kills and on items matches adds another level of play in keeping the opponent off of the place where most items spawn. I made a more competitive version at small size with still solid platforms above, but no real imbalances beyond some characters being able to Dsmash camp on the edges of the platforms. Fun times.

Oh, and four drop-through blocks and spikes all over is nuts and like Rob's favorite stage. Robo Burner ftw.
