it is but it requires a USB Gecko though and i don't have oneIs it possible to make one?
why would you need to open it in the first place if you're trying to modify it just use codemanagerWait, my GCT file in the SD card has a bunch of illegible letters and symbols in it when I open it up in notepad.
That's SUPPOSED to happen, right? o_o;

File replacement code doesn't cover it sound effects?you can only replace the sounds a char makes with something already in the game.
4.0 of the code does but it's very buggy and crashes often so it's not really worth itFile replacement code doesn't cover it sound effects?

Using a bad version of gecko os use 1.9.1 works like a charm 9.9 times out of 10Okay I hope this is the right place since the old hacking support thread is locked. Alright, I haven't been on the forums, or much less touched Brawl since last summer, and now all of this awesome new stuff has been released and I've got no idea where to start! Anyways I've been trying to figure out PWs stage expansion system but I just cant seem to get it to work for me. Right now I'm just trying to play on the SSE stages so I downloaded PW's sample and extracted the files to the appropriate places, but when I load the codes on Gecko OS 1.9 it just freezes and stays on a black screen. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks it worked. Now my only other question is if there is a way to combine PWs code with Dants code. Basically im trying to add more than 9 SSE stages, so instead of STGCUSTOM1 .PAC, STGCUSTOM2.PAC, etc. I would like to combine a set of stages and make something like STGCUSTOM1_A.PAC, STGCUSTOM1_B.PAC, etc. Is there a way I could do this?Using a bad version of gecko os use 1.9.1 works like a charm 9.9 times out of 10
you probably could do that not sure if it would work thoughThanks it worked. Now my only other question is if there is a way to combine PWs code with Dants code. there's not a code that does that but making codes isn't very easy unless you know what you're doing and have a usb geckoGUYS
Is there a code that makes you able to select the exact percent your character starts with instead of the normal handicap going by 10% intervals?
If not, can someone please help me and make one?
Anyone who helps out can have my little sister :D
help .Why won't my wii let me save more than like 90 replays? I have over 1,000 blocks open when I go to system data management or w/e, but I can only save that many. On my old wii I was able to save over 300, without any codes, but would codes help?
Try this code:help .
Yes .Have you tried just loading Brawl normally and seeing if you can save replays?
http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=269492Right, so I found a code that will replace any stage with the Online Training Room (wasn't that heard, just had to look in the Code List thread), but I haven't the faintest idea what I'm supposed to replace XX with. Does anyone have, or know where I can find, a list detailing the XX ID for each stage in Brawl?
try the CSS fix and see if it fixes the problemIt's weird. The 5 codes needed for custom CSS's worked fine for me until one day, it just decides to freeze at odd times, like right after a match ends, or when I try to put in a FC lol. I know its those 5 codes via process of elimination, so I know I'm not crazy.
Is the "CSS Fix" code by Phantom Wings supposed to remedy that, or is that for something else?

You don't know how to use Hex if that's what's happening. This code works perfectly. There can't be an "exclusive" code. You have to use this one and omit the ones you don't want.I'll ask again since I didn't really get an answer the second time I asked a question (page 234).
Is there an exclusive version of this code (rather than inclusive).
As it currently stands, putting a single pokemon/AT into that code would mean that only that pokemon/AT appears. What I'm looking for is the opposite of this, where putting in one of them means they won't appear.Code:Pokemon Modifier: (Heinermann) 4A000000 90180F08 14000050 XXXXXXX E0000000 80008000 XX000000 +01 = Togepi +02 = Goldeen +04 = Gardevoir +08 = Wobuffet +10 = Suicune +20 = Bonsly +40 +80 00XX0000 +01 = Lugia +02 = Manaphy +04 = Weavile +08 = Electrode +10 = Metagross +20 +40 = Meowth +80 = Piplup 0000XX00 +01 = Gulpin +02 = Staryu +04 = Ho-oh +08 +10 = Snorlax +20 = Bellossom +40 = Kyogre +80 = Latias / Latios (Random) 000000XX +01 = Torchic +02 +04 = Chikorita +08 = Entei +10 = Moltres +20 = Munchlax +40 = Deoxys +80 = Groudon *********************************** Assist Trophy Modifier (Heinermann) 4A000000 90180F08 14000054 XXXXXXXX E0000000 80008000 XX000000 +01 = Tingle +02 = Waluigi +04 = Dr.Wright +08 +10 +20 +40 +80 00XX0000 +01 = Metroid +02 = Nintendog +04 = Mr.Resetti +08 = Issac +10 = Saki Amamiya +20 = Shadow +40 = Stafy +80 = Infantry & Tanks 0000XX00 +01 = Lakitu +02 = Knuckle Joe +04 = Hammer Bros +08 = Herlin +10 = Kat & Ana +20 = Jill & Drill Dozer +40 = Lyn +80 = Little Mac 000000XX +01 = Andross +02 = Barbara +04 = Grey Fox +08 = Ray Mk3 +10 = Samurai Goroh +20 = Devil +40 = Excite Bikes +80 = Jeff
Now, I use this code and just go down adding every pokemon/AT I want to the code and leave out the ones I don't want, but when I do that the game reads it as if only one pokemon/AT was put in the code.
So putting in Munchlax and Goldeen usually results in ONLY Goldeen's appearing (despite Munchlax being part of the code as well).
Now maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what it could be. Any help?
Advice of the day lol....sure, when I have the time.try the CSS fix and see if it fixes the problem
you can change it in brawlbox through the collision editorDoes someone have the code/ file you need that turn's Final Destination's ledges from "ceilings" into "wall"s? I remember it being posted in the near gold thread, but I lost the code/file and I need it back.
Does anyone have it?
I still don't know why I wasn't able to do it, I was pretty sure I got it right. Anyway, the ones I wanted omitted were Resetti, Goldeen, and Munchlax. You don't know how to use Hex if that's what's happening. This code works perfectly. There can't be an "exclusive" code. You have to use this one and omit the ones you don't want.
What pokemon do you want/don't want? I'll write the code for you...
Just write down the pokemon you want and I'll take the others out.
You sure that's all you want left out?I still don't know why I wasn't able to do it, I was pretty sure I got it right. Anyway, the ones I wanted omitted were Resetti, Goldeen, and Munchlax.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks again. I know the the frequency isn't changed, that's how I want it actually. You sure that's all you want left out?
One more note, the frequency of spawn can't be changed. Legendary pokemon like Deoxys still have the same chance of coming out (2% or something tiny) so in order to get those pokemon more often, you have to omit the ones that come out often.
Anyways, here are the codes you'll want to have in:
