Been playing the game


Snake Park has to be the worst level to ever be allowed in a game's ranked mode ever. It's god awful

Rest of the game has been pretty fun. . .but not that.

Slightly worried about the game's defensive options, but the rest is pretty cool. The game is pretty much just neutral (which I love) and sniping people over and over haha.

Its not even funny how poorly balanced Snakepark is...

Either I dominate my opponent, get dominated, or we spend the entire match never landing anything...

I still don't really feel any urge to buy it, but if people are enjoying it, that's cool. Its gameplay just doesn't seem that interesting to me.

Looking forward to seeing the future characters though. Max Brass was cool. Lola Pop is ok.

I dont know how the game would be able to be fro long sets of time. Im also having problems enjoying half the cast

Helix used to be my favorite but Lola Pop is definitely going to be my new main.

Chances are we'll get our first look at her in the Testpunch this week-end. I'm a bit on the edge when it comes to replaying it because none of the play coins we'll collect will be carried over to the full game, but heh. I like this game, I like playing with actual people, I like the cutesy little hub with all the icons floating around, so all that matters is to have fun ^.^

I can see the depth of the game but for me the characters are gameplay functions.

I wish the rankings on the ARMS website listed rankings by country, and not just the top 200 worldwide. I want to know if I'm the top-ranked player in Ireland yet. I'm only rank 16 yet, so probably not, but I'm getting there slowly.

As an aside, if anyone wants to play games but is frustrated by how long it takes for anyone to show up in ranked matches, and doesn't care too much about the party modes, I'm always up to play. My Switch friend code is SW-8320-4989-1014 if anyone wants to add me.

Maybe it depends on what part of the world you're in? At least over here, it takes a while for anyone to show up for me. Though sometimes I can get lucky and barely have a few seconds of waiting between matches. It can be very hit or miss from my experience.

I want to know if I'm the top-ranked player in Ireland yet.

I don't know how popular the game is across Europe. I know some of the top-ranked players worldwide are, and I've played against a few of them by now, but overall I do find it hard to find matches, and I haven't heard of many other people in Ireland specifically playing it. Maybe I'm just really unlucky, I don't know.

Oops, I hadn't logged in for a long time, sorry to miss your reply.

I think that maybe I haven't played the game enough against human players to really know! I can barely beat the one player Grand Prix on difficulty 4 (enough to see the true final boss) and maybe the difficulty I'm having there is more to do with difficult AI than to do with how am I playing the game and the strategy I'm using.

I'm probably just at a point where I'm still playing with different characters and weapon sets to see what I like.

Lanky Kong is gonna be in Smash as an Arms rep instead of a DK rep. E3 2018 smash is announced and the joke character to replace wii fit trainer is the funny face himself.

Its gonna happen.

Now that the Switch allows GameCube controllers, I decided to give this game a shot with the controller.

It's actually feels real good.

But I strongly suggest you remap the controls for best results, especially that it's impossible to guard with default controls.

And sadly you can't change your character's color with this controller.
