Interesting, perhaps it's simply the weight differences of certain characters in NTSC that make it seem different...Hmm, well I tested on a Falcon dummy on FD in training mode using the Dolphin emulator. They definitely land in the same place and I wasn't able to observe any vertical difference in the trajectory.
Interesting... what version of NTSC do you have?Previous test was done by Falcon on a Falcon dummy, sorry if that was unclear. For the sake of removing all doubt, here's the frame-by-frame for Falcon n-air on Peach at 45% on Final Destination in training mode.
NTSC run:
With the start of short hop being frame 1 (the first frame of the four before he actually leaves the ground),
n-air activated on frame 6,
first hit impacting at frame 12 (inflicting 6 damage),
second hit impacting at frame 29 (inflicting 6 damage),
apex of knockback trajectory at frame 49,
Peach hits ground at frame 86.
PAL run:
Exactly the same for ALL of the above.
Safely debunked?
hmm kk, Atticus' test is solid proof. It just seems so different to me :Slol give it up guys
