What's the point in doing it 6 weeks before Genesis if the point is "to have a clear ranking before Genesis"? Why not wait a few more weeks and get a few more tourneys in there? I say there's no reason to do it more than 2 weeks before Genesis.

Why not update it twice, after SCSA and the week before Genesis?

I don't see why that would be hard. Either way you're still reviewing the same number of tournaments, just in one case it's all of them at once, and in the next it's broken up into two instances.

there's no reason not to update it every 4-5 tournaments as long as they're scheduled in such away that everyone at least has the opportunity to attend
