two things i noticed. First, you seem to have a really good understanding of when to use raptor boost.

Second, just some advice vs fox. You gotta play it safe with combos. If you get a stomp at 60% on a fox, just go for a knee then edgeguard instead of grabbing out of the stomp to get a techchase. Fox has so many gay kills on falcon, you really just gotta play it safe and take what you can get, without trying to get these really cool long combos.

Your recovery game is good already, probably from playing ganon. Thats all I really noticed, you also read that fox like a book.

Only thing I'll suggest is to use your smashes more. When used correctly, they're good kills, especially on spacies. Try it after grabs and stomps, or maybe substitute it in for a stomp or something during a techchase.

Good matches btw. Nice Falcon.

is it just me or is fox staying in the air for like 3 hours after you hit him with a dair at like 40ish percent?
you playing the pal version or something?

he seemed to be in super slow mo

besides that you cold speed up a bit, the fox was really fast, you gotta be faster

.....please don't embarrass me like that ever again.
this kind of critiquing doesn't help in the least v_v

That fox is faster than most, and no we aren't playing PAL version

Everyone else: Thanks for the input =)

:54-1:02. You dont know how many times I had to watch that over and over again.
Your tech chasing is awesome, it seemed like you knew everything that he was gonna do.
Yeah finishing up with a knee at around 60% is a good idea, it's usually enough to kill fox or give you an edgehog/ledge-hopped knee. Other than that, good stuff man, looking forward to seeing more vids from your Falcon.

sorry, I don't think I was clear enough. perhaps that needed further explanation.

so an (arch nemesis/human friend) of mine calls me up and is like "yo playa I gotsta throw down some chess and eat up some pieces, you down? and I am always down for said activity, so I reply "yes of course, i'll be at headquarters"

"aight kid be there in a minute" he says and hangs up.

a chess dueling appointment has been arranged but i've got some time to kill before my friend arrives, so I pop on my labtop, throw on some Donald Bryd and cruise to smashboards and see whats groovin in the smashscene. anyways after about 15 mins of browsing I somehow end up on the falcon boards and see your thread. I enter the thread and think cool some new noobking vids and start watching the first match. right as I start watching this my friend walks in the door(he doesn't play smash) and walks up behind me to see the video im watching.

i say "im just watching a falcon fromn vancity right now holdup"

so he laughs(again he doesn't play smash) and starts watching the video over my shoulder

now I like to watch c.falcons get off hairy combos on spaceanimals so when you hit him with the stomp to grab I start getting excited and a slight burst of anticipation is heardin the room.

"awww yeeeaeee""

you upthrow him onto the platform and im just mentally thinking like sort of aerial followup is probably gonna happen and then you bust out a wonderful doublejump downair techchase popping fox up beautifully

my anticipation grows tremendously for what I Know must come next

"AWWW SHIIIITTTTT" I yell

incredibly excited and supremely confident that the drop zone was the only possible thing that could occur with such an amazing setup my eyes hungrily feast themselves on the finisher.

and then you jabbed and fox fell harmlessly to the ground, my jubilant excitement was crushed like an anvil on a gingerbread house.

my cry cut short unexpectedly my friend inquires as to the reason of my disappointment....I'm speechless, my dreams shattered. I want to speak but no words can describe my shame. I close my labtop walk into the kitchen warm some goats milk stir in a bit of raw honey pour it into a mug, wrap myself in a thick blanket and curl up on a sofa next to my fireplace motioning to my friend to retrieve the chessboard...........

I saw too much wavecheating and being cheap.

There weren't any items on

You didn't play on Hyrule

And no one picked Link or Roy

I'd say 1 outta 10

I watched the first match and I got to say, very good falcon

good melee players are always fun to watch
the fox was also very good (Dair>reflector>Usmash=wow)

but the ending of that vid was also very nice, nothing beats a Dair>Knee imo :D

oh, lol, you're that guy from the Brawl Falcon boards. Moving on up in the world I see.

As for Noobking, awesome Falcon you got going there. The most major thing I see, and what others have already said, is just better capitalizing on the stomps you get.

well we dont exactly use falcon kick on these here boards, used mainly to get away from the edge when were at high percents,

other then that its for recovering.

unlike in brawl were its cool to throw it out cuz it actually does something
