I guess it depends on the goals you set and why you're quitting Mih

well firstly, it wasn't just smash i was playing. I played tons of other games besides smash

but i seem to have a different attitude towards the time i use for my own leisure, especially now since I work.

For some of you, you probably won't make a difference whether or not you quit. You might find yourself spending the majority of your free time doing other silly things. Like bowling, trolling, or scrolling through pages of

But if you're addicted to something and you give it up, you see much better it would have been if you spent your time differently. There's obviously a difference between a hobby and an addiction like Nate said. And I agree with that, of course.

zboredomkingz gets me though

I get a mention? =D
This break that I too honestly helped me. Now that I have a whole week long break it's giving me time to actually study and catch up on my **** that I need to understand. I'm getting a head start on a Chem project that is due like a month from now. The games in between isn't hurting me imo so I'm not trippin' too much.

Keep it up Practice Man!

the thing is it's not a big deal. everything in moderation. quitting for two weeks is not the equivalent to "no more video games." i quit weed smoke all the time just cuz it feels better once i smoke again after not chiefing for 2-3 weeks

melee and other videogames stopped me from getting into drugs at an early age

when i go back home i hear things about how my friends in high school have DUIs, 5150s, and one is a father afaik

could the time i spent in high school getting into video games have been better spent elsewhere? probably, but there are also worse things i could have put it into
