Hey guys, it's me, you know, the mainstream albuquerque smasher that barely ever posts, and if he does, makes them very long and comprehensive...

Sorry I couldn't come to Everett's fest, I would've, except my cousins whom I loathe and despise are finally moving back to India for good which I absolutely needed to celebrate.

I will do the following things for this tournament:

1. Come to it and hopefully enter the singles and doubles tourney (I NEED THE SEPARATE TOURNEY START TIMES, since thursday i have summer classes)
2. Bring a Wii and TV with a brawl copy of course (can't provide melee yet)
3. I CAN PROVIDE FOOD AND HOUSING FOR OOS I have 3 available bedrooms (with beds) so I can house no more than 8 people.
4. Advertise if I get the flyer and definitely bring my nonmainstream friends over
5. Afterwards prepare for as many of us to go to the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival (the concert with Disturbed/Dragonforce/Slipknot/so much more @ http://www.zvents.com/albuquerque-nm/events/show/82469590-rockstar-energy-mayhem-festival

Please note, Rainbow Cruise and Kongo Jungle 64 are considered the "gay" exceptions. Rainbow Cruise is neutral in doubles while a counterpick in singles. Kongo Jungle 64 is neutral in doubles while a counterpick in singles. THESE ARE ALL MLG RULES... Catch me if I'm wrong (I actually wrote this myself ROFLMAO :freak:

That's what I was wondering...60-30-10 is like standard (there's also 70-20-10, but 60-30-10 is used more often). Winner takes all would be...100-0-0...

It looks to me that a lot of people will only either becoming for Brawl or Melee, so I have a question for everyone:

Would you perfer to have all of Brawl (singles, doubles, and possibly crews) one day and all of Melee (singles, doubles, and possibly crews) the next? Or split it 50:50?

Because some people have only given me things like, "Oklahoma is interested in going," or, "Me and some other people from Utah would love to make it."

I don't know individual names for a lot of people.

Also, so everyone knows we are going to advertise like ****ing mad here in NM, so you can probably expect somewhere from 40-50 noobs to show up. That's easy money.

EDIT#2: Also, I don't mean to be misleading with the name. If you honestly think it is I will change it, but if you even take five seconds to look at the first post you'll realize that the pot is distributed like always.

Alright, Brawl the 17th and Melee the 18th is what it looks like. Before the end of the day I'll have a schedule of times such as when registration will start etc.

Also, I'd be very happy if everyone contributed their thoughts to the ruleset.

Well, Melee has been standard for years. For Brawl, do 3-stock matches with a 6-minute limit on them. Set the random stage modifier to FD, Battlefield, Smashville, Yoshi's Island Brawl, and Lylat Cruise only. And use this stage list:
