That might be due to the sharp edges of the symbols. But I see what you mean.

Japanese symbols are more diverse looking than english lets, it's not a surprise.

I thought both the menus were extremely unappealing this time around IMO.

Appealing may not be the right word, but... not.... good?

Everything is just so off balanced with the shapes of the buttons, I do like the colors on the Wii U version though.

I think it's solid evidence that there is a costume in the game.

Otherwise I don't think it means anything and that people are being silly when they try to pick it apart.

I feel like the Mii costumes don't mean jack **** and only the end of DLC will determine a character's fate. I feel like the Inklings being Miis makes them less likely moreso because they are so new that I can see Nintendo waiting for them for the next game, or that they made them just to support the game before it was released or close to when it was or something. And they also got a trophy as well with them, while King K Rool just has that costume, without getting like a new trophy with the Rare design with it.

It's just me, and I honestly don't see the Mii costumes means anything for characters, but who really knows anyways.

Are the same people that's saying K. Rool is still possible saying that the Inklings are disconfirmed?
If not, you're being one to judge over something that isn't a fair assessment.
