You can earn money by playing single-player. You don't have to spend real money. Are we talking the game has a whole or just the Single Player campaign? Cause isn't the Multiplayer behind a pay wall?
I have proof:So MGSV reviews are all 10s and 9s so far.
What the actual **** Nintendo.So....
This is probably meant to remember 9/11, but it's probably going to be taken the wrong way.

Are we really sure it's real? If it isn't, thank goodness. If it is, I'll be leaving before the storm comes.So....

You're implying that Konami will get any praise.Hope Konami enjoys the praise while it lasts.
This is true, but I figure they'll take anything at this point lol. You're implying that Konami will get any praise.
All they did was published it. They didn't do jack when it was Kojima and his team.
The praise is gonna go to him and tell Konami "Whatever Tigger"
What are you on aboutwell this isnt forced at all
Right... they often cost a pretty penny.I have proof:

Say what you will about IGN, but they don't hand out 10's easily.
The only thing it's missing is the infamous quote.Holy crap.
That is some serious attention to detail.
Thank you.Guys...
You know that posting copious amounts of gifts during an argument and making jokes about it makes it worse right.
Opinions are a two-way street. You can't filter the "negative" ones and only let the "positive" ones slip through. Having this topic be a warzone isn't exactly ideal, but a hugbox sure as hell isn't, either.:/
Not sure if my voice carries much, if any weight around here these days, but @ Swamp Sensei 's right. The arguing has gone on way too long. It's become a whirlpool of negativity that sucks everyone down, so much in fact that it becomes hard to see how deep you've sunk.
I know this from experience, having survived and escaped that spiral. It's given me a whole new perspective, one from which I can see what's going on whereas before I could not, not while I too was being pulled down into it.
I used to think the arguing was... special, somehow. It gives the thread a unique identity, and I think I allowed myself to be fooled into thinking that, while often competitive, it was sometimes endearing. Like we were just a bunch of rowdy friends being rough - tough love, as it were.
After things went too far several times in quick succession, I took a break for a week or two - and when I returned, something felt off. "Something's changed," I declared, though in truth, nothing had changed but my perspective. In that short amount of time, my head came up above the water long enough to see that those arguments are not so endearing; they often become disrespectful, and things have devolved into a competition to see who's the best. The arguments don't even rely on facts anymore - they rely on someone stomping their foot down hard enough to not budge, even if said foot needs to land on someone's throat. That is why I left.
But, you know what? Despite the arguing, I still love you guys. I love the riposte, some of the more brotherly ribbing, the analysis of leaked information as it comes trickling in - it feels like family, if a rather dysfunctional one.
Obviously, I haven't left for good, as I'm here now. You might think I've been gone all this time - that's not necessarily so. In fact, I've been watching the thread for about a month so, hoping to come back and join in again. However, two things have prevented this:
1) The thread simply moves too fast to keep up. You guys are pacing at like 3+ pages a day, and a lot of it is just quips and gifs. I can't even find the good quality posts through all the noise - sometimes I have to go back 6+ pages to find that content. There is literally nothing for me to respond to to get a foot in the door.
2) Every single time I check in, there's an argument going on. It's proving one conclusion correct: All the arguing has become part of your identity, but from the outsider's perspective looking in, there's nothing positive about it.
So, I dunno. I want to come back and have fun again, but I don't see the fun. There's no room for a quality conversation when you guys are bringing up Geno again and flat out ridiculing anyone who wants him in. Same as before, for some reason a person's dreams become a target for trashing the quality of a person's character. It's disrespectful towards anyone who doesn't think exactly like you.
I left, what... 6, 8 months ago? Something like that? I'd hoped something would improve over time, especially after the old thread got canned and reborn into this. I'm not seeing any improvement though.
So, yeah, there you have it. I couldn't tell you how many times I wrote up something similar to this in the past, saved it in a Notepad document, and thought "Nah... not yet." I probably still have a few saved, to be honest. Maybe that was hard to read, or maybe you'll disregard it outright since I've been absent so long. Whatever suits you best.
TL;DR, at the very least I want you to come away with this: You guys are all capable of intelligent, worthwhile conversation. There is so much you can do for each other and for yourselves. Please, for your own sake; Give it a break for a few days, maybe even a week like I have, and then look back at what you've been doing all this time. You're cheating yourselves out of so much, but you're so deep into the whirlpool that you can't see it. You need to pull yourselves up to understand what you're missing above.
The week long timed unlocks has really killed my interest in this game, I'm sorry to say. I cannot fathom the thought process behind that decision.Leave that to us.
Regardless, we can't dwell on the negative for too long, even if it needed to be said.
So here's a fun little activity.
There are a lot of games coming out soon!
Let's get hype about them!
I say the first game we talk about is Super Mario Maker!
So here are some questions for you!
1. Are you excited for it?
2. Are you gonna buy it?
3. Any neat ideas for stages?
4. Any DLC you want?
5. If you could add five more Nintendo themed costumes, what would they be? Lucas, Roy and Ryu do not count. Let's just assume they are there anyways!
Wait wait, did someone from Nintendo actually post this!?So....
This is probably meant to remember 9/11, but it's probably going to be taken the wrong way.
It's confirmed that you can just mess with your Wii U's internal clock to get everything in a day.The week long timed unlocks has really killed my interest in this game, I'm sorry to say. I cannot fathom the thought process behind that decision.
Magolor has the best chance out of any of the characters in your sig, in my honest opinion.Changed my signature to show more character support and move out some others (I still love you Icies).
Magolor on the recent poll made me re-think him as a character. And even though I don't think he has a chance unless somehow the Japanese pull through with their votes, I like him. I like his design, I'm a sucker for good designs.
You are now a Magolor supporter, but you replaced your Bandana Dee signature icon with him.Changed my signature to show more character support and move out some others (I still love you Icies).

Maybe they just think it would be a way to keep you coming back for more. The week long timed unlocks has really killed my interest in this game, I'm sorry to say. I cannot fathom the thought process behind that decision.

Go vote!
I believe they said it was to ease people in slowly rather than throw everything at them at once and say "go nuts." Obviously for most people that's pretty stupid, but for kids it might be an okay idea.Maybe they just think it would be a way to keep you coming back for more.
Similar to how they change the food/ hats/ clothes and house layouts Daily in Tomodachi Life.
That' my guess anyway.
Normal 2D fighter. So when it's made Arc Systems and it's good, Capcom will get jealous and make Capcom Fighting Jam 2 and all will be right in the world with 2 great fighting gamesYour reaction: The next Sonic and SEGA All Stars game is a fighting game. Would you want this to be a 3D fighter like the Virtua Fighter series. a 2D fighter in the vein of Guilty Gear/Blazblue/P4A or a platform fighter somewhat similar to Smash?
A 3D fighter seems like more of a Sega thing to do, but I also wouldn't mind either of the latter two.Your reaction: The next Sonic and SEGA All Stars game is a fighting game. Would you want this to be a 3D fighter like the Virtua Fighter series. a 2D fighter in the vein of Guilty Gear/Blazblue/P4A or a platform fighter somewhat similar to Smash?
Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is pretty much everything I would want in a sega fighting game... Minus the actual sega characters sans Akira and Selveria. I mean for Goodness sake the game's stage lineup is almost nothing but Sega based stages already.Your reaction: The next Sonic and SEGA All Stars game is a fighting game. Would you want this to be a 3D fighter like the Virtua Fighter series. a 2D fighter in the vein of Guilty Gear/Blazblue/P4A or a platform fighter somewhat similar to Smash?
A 3D fighter would be pretty neat. Besides, they've done something similar before. I'd like a Smash style game, though.Your reaction: The next Sonic and SEGA All Stars game is a fighting game. Would you want this to be a 3D fighter like the Virtua Fighter series. a 2D fighter in the vein of Guilty Gear/Blazblue/P4A or a platform fighter somewhat similar to Smash?
I will go to sleep tonight knowing that this will never happen.Normal 2D fighter. So when it's made Arc Systems and it's good, Capcom will get jealous and make Capcom Fighting Jam 2 and all will be right in the world with 2 great fighting games
Good to see support for Skull Kid.Changed my signature to show more character support and move out some others (I still love you Icies).

I want to counter this, but honestly Konami is the kind of company I could see forking over thousands of dollars for glowing reviews of their newest title.Right... they often cost a pretty penny.
