A 3D fighter would be pretty neat. Besides, they've done something similar before. I'd like a Smash style game, though.

I will go to sleep tonight knowing that this will never happen.
Enjoy your dream/nightmare

I know I will :urg:

The week long timed unlocks has really killed my interest in this game, I'm sorry to say. I cannot fathom the thought process behind that decision.
Splatoon did the same thing, which is why Im waiting to buy it. I don't like the timed unlock, if I buy a game it should be 100% available.

Opinions are a two-way street. You can't filter the "negative" ones and only let the "positive" ones slip through. Having this topic be a warzone isn't exactly ideal, but a hugbox sure as hell isn't, either.
And no one is trying to censor negative opinions, just more so the way they are stated or worded.

It was a nice try, but in all honesty, you're not telling me anything people like Roger Smith, Swampy, and yourself months ago haven't already told me a thousand times. I still don't think saying "Geno has no chance of getting into Smash" is a mean comment, and I never will think that.
While you are correct it's not a mean comment when stated once or even twice.

It does however become rude and mean when you mention it to a person EVERY SINGLE TIME they mention their character.

Which you will absolutely deny, but you do. You have to learn that saying something once is enough, man.

Your reaction: The next Sonic and SEGA All Stars game is a fighting game. Would you want this to be a 3D fighter like the Virtua Fighter series. a 2D fighter in the vein of Guilty Gear/Blazblue/P4A or a platform fighter somewhat similar to Smash?
To be honest, I'm hoping for a fighting game similar to that of the Capcom Vs series, or if not something like Virtua Fighter. Realistically I see a Smash like game.

According to GameXplain, you can set the internal clock 9 days ahead to unlock everything. Then after your done playing Mario Maker for a little bit, you can set it back to regular time and everything will still be saved.

Probably a 2D fighter, a Smash like game would be interesting though.

Here's something new to discuss.

1. Would you be excited about a Level-5 crossover game?

2. If so what genre would you want it to be?

3. What Level-5 characters would you add in the game?

You know, I don't know what's more hilarious: The fact that they thought it was a good idea, or the fact that they've used that idea before in another Mario game (which was still bullcrap then).

Either way it's still stupid.

All I know about Level-5 is Yokai Watch and Layton.

See, Splatoon is annoying, too, but at least if you buy it after a new weapon is unlocked for everyone, it's unlocked for you, too. Mario Maker has a nine day wait from the minute you boot up the game, not a nine day wait from the time it's released.

As for setting the clock forward, I'm surprised that works, since other games complain at you for doing that.

The only Level-5 games I own at the moment are the first Dark Cloud, Dragon Quest VIII, Rogue Galaxy, and Ni No Kuni. I'll have to give the Professor Layton series a shot one day.

9 times out of 10, my posts of that nature are backed up by facts and sound theories.

You have a point when I'm being more snarky and blunt about it, but I'm given the same reaction to the mature, logical posts as I am the "LOL your character's not getting in" posts. Which you will absolutely deny, but it's true.

When the topic turns into a discussion centered completely around people wanting a certain character, I've the right to repeat my stance on their chances, just like you guys are allowed to repeat a billion times how much you love them and want them playable (Which is exactly what happened the last time I did something like that; the last time I made a post about Anna being unrealistic was in the midst of the entire topic turning into an Anna lovefest. The conversation was centered around her, so it was completely warranted). If it bugs you so much to hear anything besides agreements, I'd suggest going to the character's support thread instead of gushing here.

Congrats on Nintendo for catching up a generation late

Still, it is nice. My PSN Trophy list is pretty small though compared to my insanely huge Xbox Achievement List from all my 360 games and playing on my brother's Xbox One
I personally feel like achievements encourage people to play games in ways they wouldn't normally, just to grind out a meaningless recognition. Not a fan, but happy for those that are.

This is actually a good article about the NX in general:
http://mynintendonews.com/2015/08/2...ed-achievement-sharing-with-recording-patent/

It should probably be nothed was before the patent revealing the Optical Media less device.

Mines is different, it's mostly for the number to go up. I don't do it for recognition, but I see your point.

It's why I like the challenge modes in Smash 4, for the complete specific goal. Wish they offer other rewards for achievements other than scores.

Welp. Nintendo updated their box art for Star Fox Zero again for a third time. To be honest, it doesn't look too bad!

So, I'm sure someone has thought of this before, but I had a thought today. Maybe the reason why there has been a drought of Smash info is because they're waiting for the one year anniversary of the release of smash 3ds.
Maybe they have a bunch of cool stuff planned, but they're just waiting for that.

The ending was great as well as The Dudley Boyz being back.
I totally thought it was gonna end with John Cena somehow getting back in...but when I saw Sting I screamed like a little girl. My childhood. hahah. The Dudley Boyz was so awesome too, I wasn't expecting it.

The sole fact I miss the Dudleyz and Sting return tells me wrestling and me have separated AGAIN.

WM 30 was the last interest

Guys I realize this is my second post about this, but I'm just hoping to get the word out there and bounce back from my little forum hub-bub by creating a better community void of that type of drama that happened to me.

And I need your help.

http://s13.zetaboards.com/The_Cornerstone/index/

I have started a general discussion forum, with an slight emphasis on writing as well. If either of those interest you? Please join. I need a few new posters to come join my friends to make the plight of making it a bustling community easier.

So please consider joining, making new threads, commenting on those that are there, and just genuinely having a fun time.

I'd appreciate it. I really really would tremendously. :)

Edit: Also are we really discussing wrestling? I feel like a bad Poison fan, because she's a manager for a wrestler and I'm just like....zoned out of the current convo. Lol.

Leave that to us.

Regardless, we can't dwell on the negative for too long, even if it needed to be said.

So here's a fun little activity.

There are a lot of games coming out soon!

Let's get hype about them!

I say the first game we talk about is Super Mario Maker! :4mario:

So here are some questions for you!

1. Are you excited for it?
2. Are you gonna buy it?
3. Any neat ideas for stages?
4. Any DLC you want?
5. If you could add five more Nintendo themed costumes, what would they be? Lucas, Roy and Ryu do not count. Let's just assume they are there anyways! :4larry:
1) A resounding yes!!!!!!1
2) Yes1 Yes! Yes!
3) As in what I would make? If so, I will keep those to myself atm, I have some good ideas that I want to surprise with.
4) eh, don't yet, I love all it has. If the somehow could add a mode where you have the backgrounds and mechanics of games such as SMB2, Mario Galaxy, etc, then that be awesome.
5) while we don't know everyone, how about:
Paper Mario, skull kid, dry bowser, bandanna dee, and wonder red.
