I just came here to say that I had a very vivid dream last night that we had a Nintendo Direct next week that revealed the Ballot Winner was Baby Daisy. She was being added as a fully unique newcomer, but in recognition of the characters popularity overall, Peach was going to get a true Daisy alt.. Both would get an amiibo.

Don't worry though, it wasn't a premonition. They put her character page between Roy and Lucas on the official website, which isn't consistent with how they have added them. Confirmed fake!

Bro. Spyro is a gaming icon. Jack Frost isn't anywhere close. Skylanders alone has generated over $3b of revenue. Spyro's chances may be minimal, but they exist. Jack's don't.

So Spyro is more likely than Jack Frost by default.

Uh, you're kinda being funny there. Do you realize how popular Persona is? Also, Skylanders isn't Spyro. It has him playable. It's not even a Spyro title. Him being in the game didn't help sales.

SMT IV got tons of sales as did Digital Devil Summoner 2s remake. Atlus is getting more popular, and now that they're going to have a crossover with one of Nintendo's best IPs (strengthening their relationship even more) I don't see why a nearly dead character should get in over a character who's getting even more popular.

I know your kidding but Activision has major spot and a chance for a rep, problem is that most of their known mascots are either too generic, too violent or a dead franchise.

Same with EA and Square's issue is just no definitive character with major Nintendo history and icon status. Atleast Ubisoft is lucky to its their rep considering they now remember Rayman exist instead of leaving him in Rabbid Hell. And he's the less likely one compared to Sega/Capcom/Namco.

That's all the possible big name third party companies, I've named.

VI is my favorite game in the series, but it doesn't have a proper POV or main character. That's actually one of the reasons I like the game so much, it feels like a proper ensemble cast and not just "Cloud and friends." Celes, Locke, Terra, and Edgar are all super important to the game, and although Terra starts the ball rolling you don't even need to recruit her at the end of the game.

IV also seems like the more influential game.

I would consider it more of a debate. I mean Jack has a 5% chance to get in. Spyro has a 2%. Jack is just slightly more likely.
You could even make that 5% a 3 percent and spyros 2 percent a 1%. My point is that Jack narrowly beats Spyro, very narrowly.

Most of the people that made the Crono games are now either stuck perpetually making Sqaure-Enix MMOs (FF XI and XIV in particular) or are now part of Monolithsoft. Speaking of, Xenogears was originally a Crono series game, so I'll totally count that as well even if it doesn't really make any sense. I mean, Lucca's in the game, so it must count.
