Have you played Radiant Dawn on hard mode? It will break you.
And no it isn't because of my positioning, it's because Michaih can't take a hit for ****
Also Anna abandoned me in Radiant Dawn and the RNG kept screwing me, how could you forsake me lady Anna?
Just because you didn't like the mechanics in Tharcia 776 doesn't mean it was fake challenge, having those mechanics there are supposed to make you think more strategically, which is what your supposed to do in a Strategy RPG.
I've beaten Radiant Dawn on hard multiple times, in fact.
Thracia was frustrating. It was not difficult (although you can call it fake difficulty). There is a difference. It forces you to do a bunch of dumb micro-managing and rely on a function that typically only gives you 20-30% chances at best. Most of the game's "strategy" isn't actually in the advancing and beating enemies, it's making sure you don't run out of money and weapons, because the scrolls ensure that your unit's stats will all be pretty good.
Oh, you also have to make sure you don't get hit by the enemy status staff spam and have everyone retreat before Leif, because that stuff totally makes sense.
The whole Jugdral era is kind of overrated. Genealogy was pretty good, though not as amazing as its fans claim it to be, and Thracia was...not very good.
Michiah is your lord you need to get her to level cause she's going to need levels cause she''s mandatory for most chapters. And I'll say the RNG can screw you, the amount of times Michiah would've been fine if she had just hit her target T_T
Or you can keep her out of combat because she never actually needs to engage in any combat. And if you need her to, have her attack from range and make sure no enemies are in range who can hit her. And hitting? Lol she uses Light magic, how can you even get her hit rate below 100%?
