who feel a direct is announced tomorrow?
and why the ....really weirdt straight meme has the beat logo?
I ask the later because for some reasons, there's spams since I got away and because I don't feel I like beats....

I do feel a direct might be happening next week, but I would say not until Wednesday or Thursday. The reason being people just going back to work on Monday and there aren't really big announcements on that day very much.

Oops XD. Sorry about that. I misread your post. I glanced through it and thought you were talking about the direct itself not the direct announcement. Nevermind. Directs are usually announced the day before and alot of them were on Monday.actually, not true.

I think 20-27th of August is the best bet for a direct. Smash/Splatoon update was their best bet for a earlier direct, but that ship has sailed. Of course, they could not do a direct as the company could still be figuring out what to do post-Iwata...there's no guarantee really. We are in uncharted territory.

Maybe Cloud, but Sora doesn't appeal to me as a Smash fighter.
They would definitely have higher chances than before. Although I'd give Sora the advantage since he had more of a presence on Nintendo systems.

My opinions of sora and cloud were actually already positive so no. Not really.
Still annoyed sora is owned by Disney. Would be really weird if disney was associated with smash for me.

definitely cloud. iconic as chocobos or black mages are, he far surpasses them.
(i'd still prefer them)
Callie & Marie - No. I don't see why they should ever get in Smash as a fighter. Inklings is really all Splatoon needs. Callie & Marie are just popular NPCs, nothing more.
Dillon - No, but mainly because he's already an AT. I like Dillon but he isn't significant enough to warrant a slot it seems. None of his games ever took off well, so I don't expect him to ever be playable. I would've liked him as DLC if not for the AT though.
Dr. Wily - No. He's probably my favorite Mega Man character and one of my top favorite villains in gaming, but I don't think we really need a 2nd Mega Man rep. I'd rather him being a boss. On the other hand, if this was a Capcom VS Nintendo game...
Elma - Indifferent. Not sure who she is. Is she the protag of XCX? I barely know much of the game tbh.
Nope. I don't want them in Smash, like, at all.

I personally think Cloud is a legitimate icon, so I would put him in front of Sora every time.
I honestly enjoy the SNES Final Fantasy games more then 7, but it's obviously the most well known entry in the series.

Personally I think Cloud and Sora should stay away from smash. Sure, they're iconic enough, but they don't strike me as Nintendo-esque and the idea of them being playable just doesn't sit right with me...

I find Sora extremely Nintendo-esque. For god sake, he hangs out with characters from the Nintendo of film, Disney.

If it was outsourced, I wouldn't mind it getting re-made (Like MM/OoT), but as of right now I'd rather the Zelda team focus on new titles.
Personally, I'd rather have Chocobo or Black Mage before Cloud. I think it'll be awesome to fight as a Chocobo.

To be honest, I've never played either of those two series. So I don't really have any input on wether I want them in Smash or not. I will say though, I feel as though a third-party character has to be very iconic enough to get into Smash. Cloud does seem to fit the bill. He did help revolutionize the RPG genre in North America. So he does have that icon status.

Oh I wasn't asking for a remake (after MM3D and WWHD I'm pretty much burned out on Zelda remakes), I was just askin' since a lot of the "first" Nintendo have been directly redone but Zelda 1 sorta stands out as one that hasn't.
