Any pre-ballot characters (assuming they're not based off an early leaderboard) would most likely be veterans but we went over this before with only Wolf having a major chance. At least no problems with technical limitations, owners committing corporate suicide, being from a series with a lot of characters already and being supplanted by a cuter version.

They'll have been working on something, that much I know. Their contracts will not go to waste, it's bad business practice.

Yeah.

And so far it seems to be the case (somewhat slower gameplay, 3 frame links which makes combos a little easier to do, turning Vega into a motion character*, weaker throws, more target combos, etc etc)

*Vega might still be a charge character in the final build
