I am glad I missed the Pokemon conversation. Of course there is no such thing as 'gen 1,' its just a birthday. If we are going to go by numbers, we have to say that it is just around 180 characters out of about 1000 (each gen has some non pokemon options, I would say).

As for Meowth, Id love to see him as a 'copycat,' just taking on an opponents fighting. Mokujin in a way. Yet, to be in that of the opponent. Others would be better suited I suppose.

Well, Gen 1 does exist...it's the first game, and has the first Pokemons..

I just had a sinking realisation that the Ice Climbers could be revealed in the next few hours as Mii Costumes.

And it hurts.

I wonder if a hammer could work as a sword somehow.

Didn't they show that at E3 2014? I remember them talking about a mushroom glitch that caused that, and they left it in.

Well a guitar works as an arm canon (K.K. Slider) so anything goes.

Seriously though, the tip of the hammer would probably not be a hitbox, so it would be kind of weird.

Yeah, I wonder about this too. If it's just costumes and nothing else, then they might just show off more costumes via twitter I guess.

They already made a guitar a gun so I don't see why not

I'd rather see Sopo though
