Doubt it. From what I've seen Sony showed off that they might make 1 good game (Shenmue) if the kickstarter is successful...

So, what are everyone's hopes for the event? Mine are:
A Wolf DLC reveal when Star Fox is officially revealed(not likely, but...)
New F-Zero, or an HD rerelease of GX(haha, right)
SNES and/or GBA VC support for 3DS(Localizations of FE6 and Mother 3 maybe? Haha, right.)
New Metroid Prime-esque Metroid. Don't care which system it's for.
Something big for Pokemon's 20th next February, maybe Kanto revisited in 3D? pls(have they ever revealed a new mainline Pokemon game at E3 before?)
Maybe the announcement that Nintendo has come to an agreement with Atari to release the Ocean developed SNES Jurassic Park games for Wii U and 3DS VC in light of Jurassic World's ridiculous success(hey, they got Indy and Star Wars on Wii VC, I can dream.)
Maybe Super Mario Sunshine HD, I dunno.

I won't be satisfied with Nintendo's E3 unless there's something Zelda (besides HW3DS). A Twilight Princess HD for Wii U to bridge the gap between HW and Zelda U would do nicely.

I feel like they would do well to reveal an F-Zero game though, I think that'd be about as big as Shenmue or The Last Guardian.

Sony easily won with the FFVII remake alone. And that's one mighty awesome game in itself. I was only hoping for a simply remake with a graphical update. Now it's going to be even better. First time a PS4 has interested me, really.

I really dislike the idea of playable Mario. FLUDD as a weapon, sure. But Mario himself? It's bad enough when half a Mario Kart match is the same character, I don't want Splatoon matches where all 8 players aren't even Splatoon characters.

I think worst possible result for nintendo right now, this E3 becomes an arguable one since different people have different franchises they are interested in.

Right now, for example, since i only cared about a couple games sony announced at E3, I was much more excited during the bethesda conference and am really hyped for fallout 4,

Pretty much. The whole 'winning E3' thing is really just subjectively based. Someone shows off a game one person really wants to see and to them, they win 'E3'.

I really hope Nintendo shows some suprises and Squenix shows KHIII. So far E3 has been pretty good but most of my hyped stuff hasn't even come from the conferences.

God, finally info on the Last Guardian, I am sooo happy. I can truly look forward to this game again, can't wait to play it.
That is all I really cared about from the Sony conference. Already knew about Uncharted, new gameplay trailers were of course nice, but nothing all too exciting. FF7 remake is cool, but also doesn't induce hype

Super salty that I will miss the Nintendo Digital Event.

Do you like Shadow of the Colossus and ICO? It's probably going to be a lot like those so if not you won't like it.
Unfortunately, from what I understand it seems to be more like ICO than SOTC.

3rd Party exclusivity will end up being the boon of gaming, people have hated it since it first started cropping up, and it's getting worse and worse. All that Tomb Raider on Xbone and Shenmue on PS4 (and other such examples) really does is show how weak the 1st Party lineups that Sony and Microsoft have are. So weak that they have to go behind each other's backs to try and steal 3rd Party exclusivity from the other.

It has gone in previous years from them being pretty much the same on 3rd Party support, and with the only major difference being which 1st Party titles you preferred, to completely ruining gaming on either system because you can't just have one of them anymore and have the full experience you desire. It's at the point where neither of them are worth the time and money they cost, or what they cost to run for online alone because they're just 2 halves of the same system.

I honestly think this is what's pushed me closer to Nintendo in recent years. It's always been the best for quality titles, but I'm at the point now where I can live without any measly tidbits that PS or Xbox has to offer.

Shenmue 3 will no doubt be amazing (looks like it's funded already), but 1 great game that's coming out in god knows how many years doesn't = Sony winning. Both Sony and Microsoft have had VERY weak showings this year.

Unless Nintendo slip up majorly, it's an extremely easy W to add to their collection of E3 wins.

I think you guys forget we got freaking Ryu, from Street Fighter of all things, in Super Smash Bros.. Three characters dropped.. at once! Our hype/surprise wasn't there because it leaked though but this is a pretty big deal.

It is pretty smart of nintendo to take over both pre-E3 and the last days of E3
Pre-E3 they had the smash direct with new DLC and the tourney.
Last days they have their stuff and then continuously release gameplay and deatils through the treehouse streams

There are people who didn't know about it leaking either (at least not prior to the videos being posted), so they were way more excited by the surprise than we were.

Yeah they really did, I don't know what happened. Aside from the 3rd Party exclusives they have (Street Fighter, Shenmue), there's just nothing.

So seeing as Nintendo's Digital Event is coming up I've got to ask:
Do you think they'll get someone to do little skits like they did last year with Robot Chicken?

Also something I've always been curious about, we all know the 3DS limitations are what kept out the Ice Climbers and transformation characters.

What are the limitations keeping out transformation characters? Is something like processing power, is there not enough ram or other hardware issues?
Because Sakurai did say they were just having trouble with Ice Climbers getting them to work. I want to know if transformation characters are impossible or just hard to make like Ice Climbers?

We're about 4 hours from Nintendo presentation, so lets shoot out some prediction and prediction disscussion.

First off, Animal Crossing Amiibo's leak all but confirms a new AC game for Wii U, especially with the obvious redesigns and changes the amiibo have from their New Leaf versions. As for a prediction, im guessing there will be a really big focus on online features and visiting other towns. My hope is this would mean more customization in your town and maybe a way to build your own mini-culture and traditions. I think the amiibo are probably going to do something around the lines of discounts or special items.

Star Fox U will have some sought of multiplayer, and also, its controls are going to be similar to that of splatoon. The tv screen will have 3rd person veiw, and the joystick you used in splatoon to control your camera will control your cercur. on the gamepad you will have a first person veiw, probably set inside the ship too.

We'll get something pokemon related for Wii U, either a collesium type game or a sequal to pokemon snap.

Whatever Retro's doing will be revealed, and I honestly think its probably a new Metroid. It'll be 2.5d if its on 3DS, and 3D if its on Wii U.

We'll see more *new* 3DS games, including probably a *new* new super mario bros game.

When nintendo says more third party support on Wii U, they mean more third party exclusive games, and we'll see a few of them. As in more games like Hyrule Warriors and SMT x FE.

Some less likely Guesses because I want to say I guessed it if it happens (all of these are just as likely if not maybe more so next year):

A sequel to Tomodachi Life, it has a surprise hit and its been aa couple years, it wont be out till next year though

Either a new WuuHuu Island Game or Nintendo Land game

We'll get a new IP, this one will either be Visual Novel (probably similar to the puzzle-VN style), a stealth game, a 4X game or a managment game.

The skit this time will be that its actually fully animated by someone.

We'll get a revival of an old franchise, probably as an Eshop title, this'll be either Balloon Fight or Ice Climbers
