Nintendo has shown that Digital Events can be very different across regions. That leads to some minor spoilers if you are live chatting with people from other regions. The Japanese Nintendo Direct featured Lucas a couple minutes before the American one, for example.

For conventional Nintendo Directs I know they change things; but for the E3 main event too?.. That's new for me. '-'

What the hell do you want Smash to have? The DLC is obvious as all hell thanks to the data mining. Now F-Zero on 3DS is probably something that's feasible since they want to continue the series but rushing it on Wii U would seem hapless but 3DS with its larger install base would do wonders and I still believe Mother 3 VC is happening, also since Roy is coming as well, they might translate and do FE6 for VC.

The Retro IP thing I said before was mostly to keep it hidden and most new IP info rarely got leaked unless by who is developing it.

Well, even though this is your fake, I might as well give my opinion on it.

1.) I don't personally think Mother 3 is coming to VC as I don't believe Nintendo is willing to front the bill for it's translation. This doesn't amount to any sort of debunking but I am always leery of any leaks that include it as it makes it seem like more of a wish fulfillment list.

2.) Wii Sports Resort HD port is lack luster by itself and I don't see something like that being shown at E3 unless it is in the context of a group of Wii games get ports. Let's remember that the original Resort can be played on a Wii U and that graphics were never a selling point for it (so and HD reskin wouldn't be all that desirable in the eyes of it's fans.)

3.) Metroid Sigma does not sound like the title of a proper Metroid game. I suppose it's somewhat close to Prime in convention, but Prime was a proper sub series. The other thing that stands out about this is that Ninja Gaiden Sigma is the game that immediately comes to mind when I hear Sigma used in a games title. I would think that Nintendo would want Ninja Gaiden to be the last thing that fans think of when hearing the title to a new Metroid game after Team Ninja's involvement in Other M. Once again, this doesn't debunk anything, but it does make me personally doubt it.

4.) I doubt that t he new Star Fox will not be like Assault and it will not use multiplayer as it's selling point. Miyamoto is making the game and he already stated that the reason the games exists and the selling point for the game is the way in which it uses the game pad.

It's really not all that feasible at all, sorry.

Wolf coming out before Ryu makes no sense. The internal order of characters suggests Ryu was added before Roy, and there's absolutely nothing related to Wolf in the previous DLC update. If Wolf is going to be DLC, all signs point towards him coming after Ryu and Roy.

The subtitles for a lot of these games follow the same pattern. Star Fox: Nova, Metroid: Sigma, Mario Strikers: Blitz.....see what I mean? They all scream "One guy made all of these up".

"A hint at the next 3D Mario game": I recall us being told that there will be no new Mario game at E3. I think that would extend to hints.

I won't comment on Mario Kart 8 DLC, since I seem to be the only person who believes the Animal Crossing pack was the end of it, but Hyrule Warriors DLC is definitely finished. And I'm not sure what gave you the idea that DKCTF DLC is a possibility. The game has been out for well over a year without even a whisper regarding DLC. It's not happening.

And the Mother 3 localization.....just stop.

Ehhh....normally I'd take the pessimistic approach, but it strikes me as odd that they'd have a special event just to say "Hey guys, you know how we said Lucas would be DLC in June? Well, he's out now so enjoy! Oh, and that reskinned Battlefield with Miiverse posts in the background we announced in October is finally coming, too. Also, squid kid Mii suits. Bye!".

There's gotta be more to it. Probably not as much as people are gonna expect or predict in the coming days, but still. I'm quite certain we'll be hearing about something we don't already know (or aren't supposed to already know).
