Maybe things like Netflix, Crunchyroll, and pirated streams are taking up too much of the market share, or are hogging the licenses.Hulu really needs to add more dubbed anime, for real
I've started several, but never seem to finish any either LOL.Funnily enough, despite being a writer I've never made a fanfic. I've tried, but I could never finish one.
All of my fan-ficcery came from roleplays, 30-minute prompts and other such things.
There's nothing wrong with fan fics guys. I've been told that by multiple industry writers at my school so far. As long as the writer isn't taking it as some absolute fact or something along those lines, or getting way too into it. It's all in good fun, and it's just people showing their love for the characters, world and stories they're writing for.
I noticed that during Pokemafia.I'd really like trying to write a fanfiction when I have the time, having something to base your story on really helps writing practice since you can focus on just overall writing and dialogue.
Well. The second one was a HUGE Skyrim fanfic that got deleted by my ex girlfriend.
Honestly that sounds kind of interesting.A group quiz show, basically.
It's an online game where you can make and answer questions about various things live with other people.
I'm terrible at finishing things, haha. I have like five unfinished fics and two original works in various states of completion. I also keep tabs on /r/writingprompts for ideas but I've only fleshed out one of them, haha.I've started several, but never seem to finish any either LOL.
Oddly enough I find that I write fanfic worse than I do original fic. But at the same time I want to write both.
And yeah, there's a certain odd elitism on the internet that fanfic writers are horrid for not writing something that can be profited off of, which honestly makes me want to write it way more than otherwise LOL. That and the whole freakout that results from it.
I mean, there's tropes in fanfic that want to make me bang my head against things sometimes, but Once Upon A Time uses pretty much all of them simultaneously and that gets to run for seven seasons on national television so hey that's just my taste talking.
Shiny, Opossum is just politely asking that you stop liking his posts from years ago and by extension, unintentionally cyberstalking him. He doesn't hate you: he just wants you to learn from this and not repeat it in the future as I doubt he wants to actually ignore you, but keeping this up will cause that to eventually happen if you don't learn from this. Now I feel really bad for upsetting Opossum....
Really sorry Opossum, please forgive me.
Do you think anyone ignores me?
Wasn't because of that. At the time, she convinced me that it was an accident.Well.
I see why she's the ex.

Live and learn, as I always say, and you'll be fine.
I wouldnt call "He better stop before Ill ignore him" as being politeShiny, Opossum is just politely asking that you stop liking his posts and by extension,
Forgot to mention that I meant to refer to posts that you shouldn't like from years ago (I've updated that now), but live and learn from this as I said before.Okay, I will stop. Sorry everyone in the thread for getting down again.
The thing is, I am really bored.
What can I do?
Man so much nostalgia from Sonic's Brawl reveal.
Yeah through this whole thing I'm mostly just feeling bad for Shiny because of how harsh the response was.I wouldnt call "He better stop before Ill ignore him" as being polite
Same for me and Pokemafia.I'm terrible at finishing things, haha. I have like five unfinished fics and two original works in various states of completion. I also keep tabs on /r/writingprompts for ideas but I've only fleshed out one of them, haha.
Of all things, FEH Mafia's flavor text was the biggest thing I've completed this year, and that was relatively small potatoes.
Rise of Nations is probbaly my 3rd favourite RTS. Though all of my favs after AoEII are close to eachother. There was a problem fetching the tweet
My top 4 games.
I chose them because they were extremely influential and helped define my gaming tastes.
Brawl was the first Fighting Game I seriously played.
Emerald got me into Pokémon.
SMW got me into gaming pretty much.
And Bravely Default was the first classic RPG I played to end.
Honourable mentions to Rise of Nations and Zoo Tycoon 2.
...Same for me and Pokemafia.
...hmm.
Opo, would you be interested in a productive gentleman's wager?
Perhaps I misread what Opossum said somewhat, but I still imagine he wasn't trying to be harsh regardless even though he may of accidentally. Although I do agree withI wouldnt call "He better stop before Ill ignore him" as being polite
Oh, that's good, that'll help it reach a significantly wider audience. Sure it's already pretty popular but if it hopes on becoming as big as past Shonen Animes it needs to get kids to watch it.Yo, MHA is going to air on Toonami soon. Took em long enough.
I appreciate you for defending me, but I understand where Opossum is coming from, so I should take all the blame for the fire that is coming through.Yeah through this whole thing I'm mostly just feeling bad for Shiny because of how harsh the response was.
Like what the hell guys, he's clearly just a kid who likes you guys and isn't entirely thinking things through.
Did someone say Live & Learn?
Sonic_eating_***.flv
Wait, that actually sounds really cool.Like damn I have this whole four-part Fire Emblem novelization project planned out in my mind that'd cover Shadow Dragon, Shadows of Valentia, New Mystery of the Emblem, and Awakening that's go more in depth on lots of plot aspects while removing a lot of the filler, but damn it all it's gonna take a long time to do, haha.
I think a lot of my issue comes from the fact that I hate uploading things in an incomplete state, but at the same time uploading chapter by chapter would give me more incentive to finish it.
To say nothing of the two Pokémon fics, three Fire Emblem fics, and a Smash fic that are also on the back burner.
This post made me laugh really loud, dang it.Did someone say Live & Learn?
I kind of agree.![]()
This is one of my ****ing favorite posts on this site.
I'm sorry for being blunt, sorry for being mean, but I gotta be honest. Now I feel really bad for upsetting Opossum....
Really sorry Opossum, please forgive me.

I used to be a part of a writing challenge focused on relatively small amounts of daily output, checked weekly....
Go on.
I did not self-beat myself up this time. I did not try really hard to make a pity party either. Ignore that one post.I'm sorry for being blunt, sorry for being mean, but I gotta be honest.
Every single time you really mess up badly, the same thing happens;
This, combined with all the times we've proven that you don't always read our posts (including the ones you "like") as well as all the times you've decided to ignore any advice we'd tell you when you needed it, makes me wonder if you ever truly learn from what we say.
- You do the bad thing without realizing it's bad (hopefully), which leads to everyone bringing it up.
- You realize what you did.
- You overexaggerate your reaction, thinking people will ignore you for what is essentially a tiny mistake. (optional)
- You either beat yourself up or make a pity party hoping for hugs and cookies. Usually both.
- You end up making a bad thing again.
- Rinse and repeat.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't change the fact that I get that feeling from moments like this.
katt read this twice but i have no idea what these words mean at all :VI used to be a part of a writing challenge focused on relatively small amounts of daily output, checked weekly.
I propose something similar.
We lay ground rules, keep it up for a month or two. Perhaps there's stakes, perhaps just glory. Most successful checks wins the wager, but I assure you, we both profit.
Game?
If history serves.I think a lot of my issue comes from the fact that I hate uploading things in an incomplete state

just an outsider watching and all >->
Notice the "or" in what I said?I did not self-beat myself up this time. I did not try really hard to make a pity party either. Ignore that one post.
