SO... the Sonic Mania Plus update leaked on PSN.

Mighty Ray and Encore mode aren't in since those require a separate purchase that obviously isn't in the store yet, but HOO BOY they added a LOT of great stuff to the base game.

Mostly Quality of Life stuff but several things in particular are really awesome. Spoilers for those who want to wait for the actual update in August.

We have more stage transitions, a new phase for the Metal Sonic boss referencing Metal Sonic Kai from Chaotix, the ability to use & Knuckles mode and the other bonuses on Save Files, overhauled Menus, and more currently being discovered.

yes! I decided to buy about 40 orbs since the promotion was cheap and I had money to do so. I had all reds in rein’s session. He’s plus def minus res which is t that bad. That 34 base def will be good. I had 20 orbs left over so I spent them on the bunny banner. I pulled the Jakob first and was slightly upset as that was my first five star one. But seeing kagoro the next summon was great and I still do like Jakob. Then I said might as well pull the whole session and am not disappointed. The Clair was minus attack so she got merged with my plus res one which is now plus 4 as I’ve pulled 5 five star Clair’s now. The l’racheal May get merged or I could give someone res tactic, don’t know who though. Pretty happy now. Jakob has minus res plus def ivs. I might kee or fodder him for renewal

With the conclusion of the Da Vinci event, I finally managed to wrack up enough Hearts of a Foreign God to to aid in the Ascensions of multiple servants. One of these servants just reached Max Ascension the other day:

I've actually been raising King David for quite some time. I read that he makes a good ally for Mordred because of his Arts-based cards that can give Mordred chances to boost her NP gauge. He can also provide a team-wide Evade that lasts for one attack on each, and Mordred covers his weakness to Lancers. He was the closest available ally I had for Mordred, so that's why I've been training him up. Now that he Max Ascended, my Mordred team can finally have some use! I just need to level him up to Level 70 now, and I can finally use that team more often.

And on that note about Fate/Grand Order, I just recently learned about a future servant named Xuanzang.



Cute appearances aside, she seems to be bright and cheerful person from what I've read about her and even showing some similar personality characteristics to L'Arachel from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, who I also really like.

I feel tempted to pull for Xuanzang, but then I remember that shortly after Journey to the West (Xuanzang's summoning event), the Summer Event in Fate/GO will be out, and I've been saving up my Saint Quartz for Beach Tamamo and Beach Altria. Now that I've recently started to develop a liking for Xuanzang, it seems like this summer will be tough on my current load of Saint Quartz, especially since I'm hoping to conserve at least a good number of them for when Merlin comes out by the end of the year.

Anyway, if the schedule is similar, Xuanzang will happen 2 months before the Summer Event. And looking at America's schedule so far, we might get Xuanzang around May/just before June and the Summer Event will happen around July/August.
That being said, you shouldn't worry too much about Xuanzang, as she will always be available after she appears, much like Tamamo, Arjuna and Karna. Meaning if you didn't get her on her Banner, she can still be summoned even when she's not part of it. If anything, the appeal for the Xuanzang Banner is Li Shuwen, due to the fact that Story Locked characters never get summoned on Rate-Up Banners unless they are part of the Banner. And Li Shuwen is a decently good Lancer.

I've seen a lot of videos using David. Party-wide evade is just too good against enemy NPs and even if they're ST, the Evade carries over to the next turn.
And funny you mention Mordred, considering a certain Camelot fight where David would really help.
