I already did lol. I pulled him with 5 orbs the first session after my free summon. My luck must have been stolen by him.
Take a gulp of his S Drink. Maybe it'll give you luck? :p

Had a few points left over, so I thought I'd get some foods that people liked. But everyone liked giant elephant souffle or tapir chese, so instead here's what you picky schmucks get:
LOL OPOSSUM MEAT :joyful:

I don't really like just sticking Fury on stuff and calling it a day since it's kind of boring, but sometimes it just really is the best option.
I'm actually the opposite on the matter, but only on one condition; the unit has to be fast enough to make it worth using Desperation.

That way, if my unit is too stronk and never gets hit, I can still abuse the recoil to get into Desperation range.

Of course, there are some cases where I use a skill other than Desperation, like Ryoma with Vantage, but it's still my general rule for using Fury.

Otherwise, I won't bother because it's usually not worth it.

I use that strategy all the time with Blade tome VaLyntine and it works superbly well.

Dark Souls on Switch got delayed till Summer.

Not surprising after hearing some rumblings about the port not going so smooth.

Different strokes.

Wears off after a dozen repetitions anyway.
Duh lol
Still recommend you check Sawano's other works, some are like... Wow, way more better than even some of Xenoblade Chronicles soundtracks.
Or I hope they could be in the game....
Like Wild War Dance from Sengoku Basara... I wish this can be another unique monster battle theme...
And yes, in the anime there is another non lyrics version called BATTLEFIELD

And this should definitely be the one to replace NLA theme, I mean you can even hear the first part is similar to NLA theme (night)!
Or even more realistic, if possible, Sawano didn't even need to make NLA theme lol. He could have just put in another old track (the only one in XCX is Melancholia, it was actual a track from Sawano's old album musica) and it would be fine.

Bonus:
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 :Schools in Session
I think having a spin off web comic (like how Attack on Titan does) like this isn't far fetch.

Eh, not sure of Mythra being the Student Council President is good ir not... What do think @Mythra?
Is Brighid the teacher? Or Morag's... Mom? Nah... Probably not.

Yeah, that's a valid use of it, of course. Fury is a pretty good skill, and the vast majority of units can get pretty good mileage out of it, especially anyone with self-healing like Arvis or the Falchion users. Mathematically, the Def/Res boosts mean you are trading 3-6 points of potentially lethal damage for six points of non-lethal damage, so it works pretty well in almost any situation. The only situation where I would absolutely rule it out is if a unit needs something like Quick Riposte that requires their HP to be above a certain level, since then Fury is actively working against that.

I just think it's boring because you just see it used absolutely everywhere by absolutely everyone in Arena and stuff, even when a unit only benefits from one or two of the stat boosts and would be much better served with a different skill. Especially units that already come with said better skill in their default kit. After a while it feels like people are just sticking Fury on stuff without even thinking about it. Plus I like to try and find other ways of building units that are potentially more fun or interesting, rather than just going for the "best" option just because. Like, if I was going to build a (mage) Reinhardt, I'd rather experiment with stuff like Blárowl or Blárraven, instead of just going for the default Dire Thunder+Death Blow.

I feel like I might be one of only two people in the world who actually wanted to get Nanna from this banner. I had to suffer three pity-breakers first, but I got her eventually. She is +res -atk, which is pretty decent for a staff unit. Plus one of the pity-breakers was an Elise, so I had Gravity+ and Live to Serve ready to go straight away too.

I also got Leif, but he is also -atk, which is much less desirable on him. Might feed him the brave Lyn I got as one of the other pity-breakers, for Swift Sparrow. Fury would be another option, and would work well with the S Drink in Tempest Trials and stuff. I don't really like just sticking Fury on stuff and calling it a day since it's kind of boring, but sometimes it just really is the best option.

Fun fact: Even though the S Drink skill is exclusive to Leif in Heroes, he's the only character in all of Thracia 776 who can never use the S Drink item. This is because the S Drink in Thracia 776 is used to reset a unit's Fatigue to 0 (Fatigue is an FE5-exclusive system which forces a character to sit out a map once they become fatigued), but Leif is the only unit in the game who is never affected by Fatigue, as he's the lord and as such is required to be deployed in every chapter. So it's kind of ironic that he gets the S Drink skill exclusively in Heroes.

Hope you like getting nothing but colourless orbs for the rest of the banner's duration. :p
this isn’t too far off. I’ve been seeing mostly blue or colorless stones each summon it is rough. I wish they didn’t make things that unbalanced for banners.

Yeah, I like to experiment as well.

It's why my VaLyntine has a Blarowl build to take full advantage of her default Atk/Spd Bond whenever I feel like going for that, which synergizes well with Armor March since it could buff the armored allies with extra movement too.

But Blade tome is more practical in terms of raw damage, so I go with that instead lol

Yokai watch 4 sounds interesting. There are dark and light versions of Yokai and it's based on the movie which takes place 30 years later. So the protagonist grew up.

It also has a virus that mutates humans into Yokai zombies

Edit: Also it's going to be on the Switch, so pokemon has competition

It was on the 3ds and it wasn’t competition to pokemon, honestly.

I did it with my flier team on first try (It's the most broken team I swear). Having bladetome H!Nowi and NY!Azura it's stupidly easy, I can just kill the sword cavalier and retreat from there. But if you are having trouble, maybe you can try with this guide

Fjorm tanks the glacies with one HP left lol, she's the F2P goddess after all.

I though S Drink was a meme skill before but this just cements the fact.
Leif is still gonna be super ****ing broken on Chain Challenges because he'll just trivialize the entire gimmick

I managed to do it with my main team pretty easily. I doubt you have the same units but the trick is to separate Saias from the main group.
Basically, you want something like this so you can deal with the other units while Saias can't touch you
I'm sure a F2P guide will be much easier and accessible though. I don't know how the AI would react if you replaced them with similar units(like using a Sword Ike instead of Joshua).
Hector was kind of just there though, but I guess Swap helped fixing my mistakes

i don’t have nowi but I have summer corrin and flyzura. I might try that but thanks for the guide I may need to use it. I think my ivs and skills hurt me a bit with themed teams. Also that freaking horse caliver one round ko’d my adult tiki who had 53 defense. Which is insane that it’s that strong .

ive been trying to separate him but he keeps sticking with the group. I might be able to pull off something close to your units though thanks.

Soon, soon. That's another magical girl show she's watched. Its only a little while longer, and you'll crack and watch a Precure season before I watch a Kamen Rider season.

Hope nobody told her I watched Gokaiger.

Went back to the wiki because I haven't played DF in so long all my saves are broken.

This is their recommended starter world:

World generation is giving me mixed results because I'm picky about my starting spot. Might not have much to report tonight. I'll let y'all know.

Got Blargg, Cori, Katt, Yellowlord, and myself down for the caravan.
I want in. Add me or I'll shot.

Octopath Traveler keeps making my SNES JRPG bone stronger
I like the Thief guy's design, probably my favorite so far.
I just wonder if the game intends to have all paths converge eventually because we've only seen temporary party members outside the MCs and having a(actually eight) whole campaign with only one fixed character would suck.

Tbqh, I don't know what triggered him going south. For some reason, Saias chases my Hector despite the WTD, ability to counter and the fact Joshua should be his priority.
I had both in range during one attempt and he still went for Hector for whatever reason.
Maybe having a really low Res unit to make him go south while keeping them out of range could work.

I managed to clear it with my flier team, but I have stuff like Distant Counter Caeda, and an Elincia capable of quadding Saias to kill him before he could do anything, so what I did might not work for you. Basically, I put Caeda in the single tile the green mage can hit that no other enemy can hit, then had Tana kill the sword cavalier and flier, Elincia killed Saias, and Myrrh with the Iote's Shield seal to kill the archer and lance armour.

An alternative, and probably more reliable method, would be to have someone with high enough HP to land Panic Ploy on the green mage, then have a 1-2 range red unit, like Vanguard Ike with Quick Riposte, stand on the tree near the bridge to the left, from where he can deal with both the sword cavalier and green mage. If Ike has enough health left after this, he can probably handle the archer too. After that I'd have something like a Brave Bow archer (I used Leon for this) who can kill Saias and the sword flier quite easily, or alternatively a green mage with good Res and Triangle Adept, which should be enough to survive a hit from Glacies. The lance armour enemy doesn't really do anything, and is basically just a mild annoyance that can be picked off at your leisure. For this, I used Vanguard Ike, Leon, Gunnthrá because Chilling Seal will always hit Saias once the green mage is dead, and Seliph to land the Panic Ploy (anyone with high HP will do for that).

With the conclusion of the Da Vinci event, I finally managed to wrack up enough Hearts of a Foreign God to to aid in the Ascensions of multiple servants. One of these servants just reached Max Ascension the other day:

I've actually been raising King David for quite some time. I read that he makes a good ally for Mordred because of his Arts-based cards that can give Mordred chances to boost her NP gauge. He can also provide a team-wide Evade that lasts for one attack on each, and Mordred covers his weakness to Lancers. He was the closest available ally I had for Mordred, so that's why I've been training him up. Now that he Max Ascended, my Mordred team can finally have some use! I just need to level him up to Level 70 now, and I can finally use that team more often.

And on that note about Fate/Grand Order, I just recently learned about a future servant named Xuanzang.

Cute appearances aside, she seems to be bright and cheerful person from what I've read about her and even showing some similar personality characteristics to L'Arachel from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, who I also really like.

I feel tempted to pull for Xuanzang, but then I remember that shortly after Journey to the West (Xuanzang's summoning event), the Summer Event in Fate/GO will be out, and I've been saving up my Saint Quartz for Beach Tamamo and Beach Altria. Now that I've recently started to develop a liking for Xuanzang, it seems like this summer will be tough on my current load of Saint Quartz, especially since I'm hoping to conserve at least a good number of them for when Merlin comes out by the end of the year.

For this, I used Vanguard Ike, Leon, Gunnthrá because Chilling Seal will always hit Saias once the green mage is dead, and Seliph to land the Panic Ploy (anyone with high HP will do for that).
these are some pretty good ideas, thanks. My flier team is myhrr caeda hinoka and flyzura. I was baiting the green mage with caeda but no distant counter. She can kill both horse riders but then someone ends up cornered by saias. Which leads to me losing. I will try some other stuff now. On a side note, my next post is going to be quite the summoning session post

I've seen a lot of videos using David. Party-wide evade is just too good against enemy NPs and even if they're ST, the Evade carries over to the next turn.
And funny you mention Mordred, considering a certain Camelot fight where David would really help.

Welcome to the land known as The NintenZone- a place where new discoveries are being made every day. Treasure Hunters, travellers and wandering heroes are drawn to this land for its secrets, its story, and its wealth.

One day, an evil wizard known as Sohni appeared within The Great NintenTower and took control of the powerful Admin Orb- a divine device that allows chosen individuals to enforce the laws of the land, and used its power to seal the tower and corrupt a group of famous heroes now known as The Dark Moderators. The evil wizard then commanded the once-heroes to seize control of the surrounding land. Having no further power of the Admin Orb, the leaders of the land fell into disarray. Except one.

With the last of his power, the leader known as Warchamp summoned a hero who's legend has been told in millions upon billions of different tales. A hero who's form changes in every quest. A hero who's duty is ever changing.

They are known... as The Player.

Strat didn't work for me, the armor knight and Saias took different paths.

This one worked out for me, though.

SO... the Sonic Mania Plus update leaked on PSN. Yes, really.

Mighty Ray and Encore mode aren't in since those require a separate purchase that obviously isn't in the store yet, but HOO BOY they added a LOT of great stuff to the base game.

Mostly Quality of Life stuff but several things in particular are really awesome. Spoilers for those who want to wait for the actual update in August.
We have more stage transitions, a new phase for the Metal Sonic boss referencing Metal Sonic Kai from Chaotix, the ability to use & Knuckles mode and the other bonuses on Save Files, overhauled Menus, and more currently being discovered.

I'll leave some Twitch clips of the boss and some transitions here.

Metal, as well as a transition from Stardust Speedway to Hydrocity: https://clips.twitch.tv/PeacefulGrotesqueDadPMSTwin

Flying Battery to Press Garden (With more Master System Love): https://clips.twitch.tv/SmokyHeadstrongJellyfishDancingBaby

Oil Ocean to Lava Reef: https://clips.twitch.tv/WealthyWimpySpaghettiDoggo

Metallic Madness to Titanic Monarch: https://clips.twitch.tv/JoyousRamshackleDonutCeilingCat
