Orcs have some kind of Mer ancestry but nobody else in Tamriel seems to give a ****.

Everybody looks funny at an Orc till they need Orc muscles or Orc weapons.

Orcs look funny at everybody else but at least they know they can beat every *** they see.

At least the Dovahkiin can be all blood-brothers with them. Then the only orc that looks at you funny either tries to kill you to get out of being caught being a wimp or gets sent into low orbit by a giant. Only other orcs that really rub me the wrong way can be handwaved by "It's Markarth," where most of the population is either toxic, a Forsworn, cannibals, or some combination anyway.

Full-blown Proud Warrior Race Guys right up to Malacath himself. Fine by me. Heck, even the "led by a Daedric Prince" thing is, I'm not a Vigilant of Stendarr. They keep their society cleaner than the mainstream one. Orsimer are fine in my book, you just don't see that many out there.

Heck, the only player races I pick do worse for themselves than Orsimer do behavior wise. Something kinda stings about ruining the lives of half the decent Argonians in Skyrim if you join every faction. And Jaree-Ra is just a piece of trash through and through. Folks at Windhelm stay untouched as far as I'm aware and they have the most quests you can pursue in order to befriend them though, which is why as an Argonian player that they thus act friendly instead of frosty towards and actually let into their living quarters during the two seconds that it's open I'm particularly protective of them.

Except the Thalmor, who of course can collectively get their faces sat on by a Flame Atronach. Same one if they like! They can take turns.

I do commend your appreciation of the giants' excellent space program though.

To a degree I tend to inevitably slide into mage/rogue, too. But mostly HD Rumble assisted picking of every lock in the universe and Conjuration. It's not all of Conjuration, either, I'm too lazy for Necromancy or Soul Trap so I just summon a sword with the right perks and sic Daedra on people. And then there's Illusion, but aside from Dark Brotherhood situations I can't figure out better solutions to it's mostly level and stat grinding just because I can. And actual ally buffing if I remember. A Legendary caster with Harmony and Secret of Arcana earned from a Black Book basically has an instant level-up button pretty much.

. . .I started fearing enemies on the default difficulty level and let everyone else deal with it as a result. Then I got so annoyed at one point that I set it to the easiest and kept it there. Game might be getting a little too easy, though. . .maybe I should try the difficulty level in between?

My playstyle is pretty much "infinite complacent gaming."

Why use a spell/bow when I have to aim? Why use two-handed when I can have a sword and a support spell. . .or a support spell and another support spell?

I genuinely don't recall the intricacies of my prior combat playstyle. I remember abusing the Fortify Enchanting/Alchemy loop; probably just made a baller sword and called it a day.

Getting the urge to dive back in just to keep up in conversation though.
