these are pretty cool and well done. That’s impressive for being made when your 9. Nice job! Assault is the first Star Fox I played. I was also pretty young at the time thought. I didn’t own but my brothers friend use to come up here all the time and bring it so we all played the multiplayer. I remember enjoying it quite a bit but I was so bad that I kept her given the rocket launcher lol.
I've similar memories playing Star Fox Assault multiplayer. Admittedly, mostly just hooked up all four controllers and played against myself, though I did have great times playing it with friends when they did come over.
I remember the grind to unlock Wolf in multiplayer, too. I think that's how I became so fond of Wolf. He was super cool to me as a kid, and was in awe once I found out he was unlockable.
God, I hope Nintendo doesn't give up on this series.
That said, I do have trouble knocking an opponent down while doing an air combo, to cancel into a DHC Super. I know it's a half circle motion(or that's what I did the two times it managed to work.), but I can't get the timing down.
I've no idea. Just came across them in a plastic bag.
I feel such mixed emotions right now. Filled with Star Fox Assault nostalgia, but also sad since Star Fox's future looks bleak after Zero. I think I might plug the Gamecube in and boot up Assault again, for old time's sake.
God, I really hope Star Fox starts booming as a series again.
For anyone of you guys that owns DBFZ, today, and today only, if you go to an ONLINE lobby, you get 300,000 Zenny for free. Supposedly, it's celebrating the Broly/Bardock DLC.
I've been practicing more with Gohan, Trunks and Hit.
Hit's a little weird for me, I've got to get used to some of his slower attacks. But I'm a LOT more consistent(but not 100% perfect) with Gohan's L,L,2M,M, JL, JM, J2H combo. After that I can throw out another LMH, Vanish into a grab. If I feel like spending another bar, I could use Heavy Machinegun Kick too.
I can do the same with Trunks, but he has another ender with his QCF+M Sword.

I don’t think they will give up just yet. I could easily see them listen like they have been recently and take the critique from zero to make a brand new and enjoyable Star Fox experience. With Koei Techno supposedly having pitched Star Fox warriors, I think the series is still on their mind. It be pretty good to have a portable brand new entry to play with multiplayer again. I hope that this can all happen and wouldn’t be shocked if it did.
It is Antonio Salieri, the rival and implied murderer of Mozart. Also the teacher of the famed Ludwig von Beethoven. And yes, he is an Avenger, a 3-Star Avenger to be exact.
While there have been a number of stories and even interactions that implied that Mozart and Salieri had a very bitter rivalry, both were also implied to have a good deal of respect for each other. However, in Russia, there was a famous tragedy play called "Mozart and Salieri" that involved Salieri murdering Mozart with poison and renouncing God because he believed Mozart was God's favourite. Apparently, it was really popular in Russia to the point where the people did believe that Salieri did murder Mozart, despite the fact that both seemed to have genuine respect for each other and Salieri helped educate Mozart's son when his father died.
This is rather important as the Lostbelt part where he's encountered takes place in Russia, alongside russian Servants like Anastasia and Ivan the Terrible. It's also notable that Salieri is the first Servant to legitimately have Innocent Monster EX, which is even higher compared to Vlad III. So basically, even if Salieri didn't actually kill Mozart or renounce God, his famed reputation from the Tragedy and other arts that portrayed Salieri negatively and the belief of the people who do believe him to be a murderer has greatly altered him into something inhuman. His 3rd Ascension art is his first look demonized.
So far, I haven't found why he is an Avenger or if his Nasuverse version did murder Mozart or not, but depending on the scenario, it is quite possible he might actually be an "accidental" Avenger due to the possible belief of the Russian people's view on him murdering Mozart and denouncing God in vengeance for choosing Mozart. If such turns out to be the case, that is pretty frickin' sad and awful. Like it was pretty sad with Vlad, even though Vlad did do alot of killings to defend his country, but this is with a guy who may have never actually done any of the things he was said to do.
Star Fox Assault is my ****in jam. Not perfect, probably not even as good as 64, but it holds a special place in my heart as my gateway to the franchise.

I certainly hope that's the case. I have my personal preferences for what I'd like to see, but more than anything, I just want future games to sell. Want the series to grow far past 64's shadow. Become a booming Nintendo series again.

But oh god, why does JP is getting such cool 3* between him and Avicebron?
I knew he is usually attributed as Mozart's murderer(regardless of how true it may be) so I instantly assumed that was the reason for his Avenger class but with that thing about the Russian play, it might be cause by him being summoned in Russia like a Vlad scenario.
I'd like to say we could get his true version in the future but with how they went all out with him(his costume looks great, his ascension arts all have unique poses and his moves have ****ing music playing), I'd say this is either his true form in the Nasuverse(so he really did kill Mozart), the public perception of him was so wrapped he can only be summoned as an Avenger(so it's a case like Jack where the "true" version can never be summoned because how history sees them overwrote their data), it's like Berserker Lancelot and it'll take a ling ass time for use to see another one of him OR, like Apocryoha Vlad, his puic perception did significantly alter his abilities but he still has the same personality he would have had in life and is aware these are things "added onto his legend". I can't be sure, I haven't read anything about him yet.
I just hope we get to see him interacting with Mozart.
Also also, I really like that final ascension art, it almost looks like he's "burning the image of Salieri" which would fit with the theme of him being an Avenger.
Don't feel too bad. Everybody's got that game they get frustrated with, especially when it's a fighter.
Sometimes it's like that with Smash for me, somedays I just play like trash, when other days I can win a few sets like normal. Don't get me started on when I **** up in Tekken.

Besides that, his Final Ascension art is a parallel to Mozart's Final Ascension.
Pretty fitting for rivals.
Seeing Salieri's attacks reminds me of the fact that DW mentioned that all Launch servants would get new combat animations(still waiting for those awesome Carmilla animations that are out in Japan). All the 1/2 Stars did get new background art on their cards. If all of the Launch servants, including the 1/2 Stars, are getting new combat animations, Mozart better get some pretty dang cool ones to rival that of Salieri.
I honestly think that Spyro will win the DB.. But this is one I'll be anticipating since i like both of the Franchises. But i still lean more to Spyro's games as the better series.
I can't really blame you, it's a traditional fighting game through and through.
You won't enjoy it much if you don't enjoy those already. Not to mention 3v3 can be daunting for some.
However, even as a FG guy, I do think FighterZ is a bit light on content. Especially at how little extra modes there are. Even the Xrd -SIGN- had stuff like Mission Mode and later revisions added character episodes. And DBFZ's Arcade Mode is rather bare, like were short endings for each character a lot to ask for?

Also at this point I'm assuming Neo's dead and didn't Mary Poppins her way off the ship in volume three. It's been too long. RIP my favorite aesthetically pleasing assassin.
