Man this forum is a bit frustrating when I click on the notification that I get a quote and it loads to that quote for a second but then shifts the page to a different part so I gotta hunt down the quote..

It happens due to the fact that your laptop or phone takes time to load the page...

In fact Smashboards takes a lot of data when I use my browser... depending the page's stuff...

Also seeing the Splatoon 2 tournament coming makes me want to play Splatoon 2 regularly. Maybe after I finish Xenoblade 2's chapter 6. I am still not rushed on finishing this game, and even though it's not wrong to talk about game's plot, I am not gonna talk about it until I finish the game...

So about Splatoon 2 it seems that either Dualies or Aerospray are my main weapons... and as most people probably know, I love the Splashdown, even though how I use don't really help much for most of the time (Splashdown while squid jump...).

I give you 10/10 for nostalgia.

Speaking of nostalgia...

If we have a Smash Bros Switch presentation or direct coming in April, I am not surprised.
That direct almost four years ago was the first time I have heard of the term "fps"... and since the direct didn't have 60fps, so we never really notice it until we actually play the game... and I think 2014 was also the year when you can finally be able to post 60fps videos on Youtube...

And while I was in downtown at tech mall finding games, where you have a wall of Gashupon machines, very common in night markets and malls...

I thought the same thing, but the tournament sorta throws a wrench in that plan.

E3 is June 12th through June 14th. The tournament was stated to be June 11th and June 12th. Even if we assume the 11th is Splatoon 2 and the 12th is Smash, it would still be happening before Nintendo's E3 Digital Event (E3's schedule is basically always the same; Nintendo's conference is always the last of the hardware developers).

A reveal of this nature would be quite lackluster if we just had a tournament a few days prior that showed off a sizeable chunk of the game.

I watched both the dub and sub and I don't think Bersekrer's grunts are even changed between them.
And still, it's a Berserker, they were originally intended to all be incapable of speech and could only produce sounds like that due to Madness Enhacement but ever since Apocrypha with Fran and Spartacus, and then with FGO, that has been thrown out of the window as it would severely limit their characterization.

How much do you guys follow seasonal anime? Would it be ok to share my impressions of anime I watch? I am currently creating my overall thoughts on Yuru Camp right now since the anime is over, and it would be fun to spark a discussion here.

I think I'm one of the few here that follows seasonal anime, but even then, I'm having to limit myself due to irl stuff and my own tastes. Like, I was watching Violet Evergarden this season but I dropped it because I don't have the patience to watch it and prefer more fast-paced ones. It's still incredibly beautiful and touching tho.

Currently watching Pop Team Epic because everyome should, Darling in the FranXX aka "Trigger takes A-1's money to make sex metaphors" and Kokkoku, a show about time stop.

So supposedly, next Arena Bonuses' Heroes have been datamined, leaked, whatnot. We may be getting Female Robin as a Legendary Hero. Just to point out, last week and this week's Arena Heroes were leaked beforehand at the same time as the TT Seals, so there's some plausibility. Keep your grain of salts intact though, just in case.

Spoiler: Yuru Camp Overall Impressions

Personally, I thought Yuru Camp is just a good anime. I have to give major credit to the anime for nailing a unique slice-of-life atmosphere in terms of presentation and soundtrack. The character chemistry can be really enjoyable to watch when Nadeshiko, Aoi, and Chiaki are together, with Nadeshiko alone bringing a consistent smile in my face.

While I do not find many negatives, I do wish Rin brought more memorable moments. When she is alone in the narrative, as she is there not doing anything particularly interesting other than slipping in tidbits about camping in each episode. While the approach works from a slice-of-life standpoint, my impressions of the character shrank over the course of episodes, eventually making me lose strong interest in the camping facts the anime is trying to give through Rin.

I would rather learn more about camping through Nadeshiko and others than Rin because of how fun and hilarious they can be about camping. I feel Nadeshiko should have been the forefront star instead of emphasizing Rin’s growing relationship and isolation camping in half of the anime. Rin definitely had potential to be a memorable character had the five of the main characters camped together throughout the entire series. Episodes 11 to 12 gave me a glimpse of that, and it resulted in some of Yuru Camp’s best moments of character chemistry with me getting a strong impression on Rin’s character when she takes the risk of being open to camping with her friends.

Yuru Camp is fine, but not the kind of slice-of-life I would personally watch again due to Rin’s isolated camping presence in half of the anime.

I'd be watching Nanatsu S2 too if it wasn't due to time issues. Doesn't help A-1's adaptaion... Isn't the best.
Still, I watched the Galan fight and it was hype.
