I am loving the Kingdom Hearts series a lot at the moment.
“The Story So Far” is worth the 32€ I paid for it.

Let’s give credit where credit is due though; Sega Genesis mini sounds like a smaller Sega Genesis rather than a way to cash in on the (S)NES Classic train.

So they’re at least not as blatant about it as Sony was.

I'm not the best at describing it, but I eventually told it to put on "jazz for studying" and got more or less what I wanted at the time.

Sega explicitly delayed the Genesis Mini because they booted AtGames after the Flashback sucked and went on to work with M2 (Sega Ages, Sega 3D Classics Collection). Not really news, that; we've known since last Sept.

By all accounts M2 is doing right by em, but we'll see how it shakes out on release.

Personally I'm more interested in the lineup. Always up for more Shining Force love - not as hyped for it as I was for seeing Wild ARMs on the PS Classic, since SF's had other releases since, but it's way up there on my personal squee list.

The rest of the lineup looks like relatively safe bets all round. A pile of goodstuffs...and Space Harrier II, I guess.

Best part so far is that a 40-game-deep pool is wide, wide open for speculation and wishlisting. Lacking S3&K would be a glaring hole but I fully expect it. Other than that, seeing as Sonic 1 is included, I'd personally like to see basically everything else from the 6-Pak (Streets of Rage, Columns, Golden Axe, Super Hang-On, Revenge of Shinobi), Sonic 2, Dynamite Headdy, Shining Force II, Phantasy Star IV, and - if they feel like throwing a curveball - Vectorman. They can mostly do what they will with the other 20 slots.

I was actually having trouble finding a GIF conveying the appropriate emotion I was feeling at the end there.

But then I had basically the same reaction - "I see Spike, I like" - and in it went.

Original, no. Could it sell well, potentially.

+ 40 games (so more than other retro systems)
+ 3rd Party Support potential (Castlevania Bloodlines is seeing it's first ever re-issue)
+ M2 is developing/emulating
= Cost. Two separate bundles at $60/80 makes sense for the most part.
- Sega has re-released their 1st Party titles countless times for dozens of different systems. It will need to have strong 3rd Party support to stand out from the recent Sega Ages Collection.

I'd personally like to see:
Monster World IV (Is 1st Party, but English re-release version deserves a mention)
Mega Man: The Wily Wars (assuming it doesn't have PAL slowdown)
Strider
Contra Hard Corps
Rocket Knight Adventures
Sunset Riders
Pulseman (Japanese, but has English Dialogue)
Warsong (aka Langrisser)
Earthworm Jim
Rolling Thunder 2
Burning Force
Splatterhouse 2
Mortal Kombat (any of them)

If Pauline and k rool aren’t here I’d be shocked.

There’s no way both aren’t going to be pushed hard now that Nintendo knows their popularity.

M2 are amazing, I have no doubt they'll do a great job on the Genesis mini.

And Bloodlines alone basically sells it for me. 40 games is also a really good deal compared to the 20 SNES mini offered.

Regardless, there's at least one mystery slot since Shang is DLC. If I had to bet one character, it'd be smoke because he makes sense for the Sub-Zero subplot that seems to be going on. And not to mention another revenant.

I say weird because the Noob 2-in-1 gameplay thing seems to be false as of now, but who knows maybe that's a stance of a variation we haven't seen. Or maybe it's just because of how involved the Shadow is in his move set. The statements on Jax and Jade are pretty uncanny though. It'd be extremely hard to guess both of those. Not to mention Kano does seem to be teaming up with the cyborgs.

Whoa, how long ago was this posted? It got basically everything from the story trailer right.

Armageddon 2.0 sounds interesting, but I can't handle a cliffhanger like that.

As for the dlc, it's alright. If that's ****ing Joker from Batman that could be really damn cool, Fujin, Sareena and him are definitely the highlights for me. Terminator is also really cool.
