Thoughts on the Pokemon Direct:

Love the names, Sword and Shield. Though the logos could have some more flair. Wolf head at the top of the logo possibly hinting at a wolf-like Legendary? Give me an actual werewolf this time, Gamefreak.

New region is beautiful, exactly what I wanted to see. I was hoping for something like Ireland or Scotland, and we ended up with the whole United Kingdom! Roaming countryside mixed with wonderful cities. Galar as a region has a lot of potential, and I can't wait to explore it!

The new starters are okay. I'll be going with Grookey since I always go with the grass starters. Judging by the way he was slamming that stick on the ground, he could end up being another Grass/Fighting. Hopefully his final evolution looks really cool. Make his final evolution a floating head with hands.

Scorbunny looks alright, but gives me the impression that it could be another Fire/Fighting type, though I doubt both Grass and Fire would have Fighting as their secondary typing. Maybe Electric, since it seems to have a lot of energy, kinda like the Energizer Bunny?

Sobble also looks alright, though I've no idea what his secondary typing could be, assuming it has one. Ghost, maybe, since it can go invisible? Or maybe its personality will do a 180° and he'll become Water/Dragon.
