As for the starters, the designs are t bad but unlike previous ones none of them catch my eye. I kind of like all of them a little. I might go with the monkey or bunny.

Actually maybe it’s a Scandinavian themed region now that I think about it.

I think all the starters look cute, but I think I'm going with Team Sobble for this one. There's just something about it's timid personality and the way it was revealed in the trailer that made it stand out to me in a pretty cute way!

I have a feeling the final evolutions of these starters will once again be the final determining factor regarding which starter I pick.

Seems like the region is based on the UK. I really like the aesthetic so far! It'll be interesting to have gyms back again too.

I also LOVE the designs of the playable trainers! They look fantastic!

Well, that was nice, Pokémon FE edition. Seems to be based on England, and the graphics look rather good for a Pokémon game. Starters look good too, don't really like Grookie, but can't choose between Scorbunny and Sobble... Honestly, the biggest hype for me was the soccer field.

I guess it will release on November, can't wait for it!

I gotta give them credit for going with a Fire Rabbit instead of a Fire Sheep for a UK based region. All that is left now is: Sheep, Ox, Horse, and Snake.

So far none of them really stand out to me, maybe Sobble, but I feel they're better than Gen 2/5 at the current moment. Scorbunny almost certainly looks like another Fire/Fighting.

Rewatching the trailer since it was potato quality when it was live. Definitely appears to be based on England with what looks like Big Ben in one of the cities. Also appeared to be South American inspired Nazca lines in some environments so perhaps they're going for more of a mixed region this time?

Sobble appears to be like a Chameleon since it uses camouflage, has a curled tail and similar looking feet. It may evolve into a Basilisk since it's head crest reminds me of those lizards. Although it appears to move rather slowly (much like chameleons do) which could make less sense for it to evolve into a faster lizard like the Basilisk so it may even evolve into something a bit more tanky like a Marine Iguana possibly? Or even just a larger chameleon. Definitely seems like the new Mudkip. And is easily my favourite of the three so far since I like lizards!

Scorbunny of course is a rabbit which of course continues to reinforce the chinese zodiac theory. Seems rather mobile so it could likely be the speedier of the three starters. (I wonder if he'll be fighting type when he evolves ) Scorbunny is probably me second favourite starter here.

Grookie, although they called it a chimp appears to be more like a Lemur which is pretty awesome! Although it could still evolve into a monkey or an ape. I could see this guy being the more offensively balanced of the three. By default he's my least favourite of the three but that's only because I just like the other two better cuz I still think he's pretty cool!

Between the gyms being based on soccer stadiums, the medieval themes with the titles, and the tower giving me Big Ben vibes I'm going to lean on this region being based on the UK. It fits the most with what little evidence we have.

I'm probably going to wait until we get the evolutions of the starters. All three look cute, but none of them are catching me like Squirtle, Totodile, Snivy and the like did. If I had to make a choice now though, I'd go for the mischievous monkey. On the other hand, the region looks cool and I like the trainer designs, hopefully the customization options are even better then SM.

So the region is based off of England, by the looks of it. Its kinda of funny the trainer's home town kind of a reminds me of the shire. We're going on an adventure. :^)

No idea what starter I'll pick, I'll likely wait to see their evolutions as that usually helps when I'm indecisive. Seems like this region also has a variety of pokemon from all the other regions as well.

I was a bit surprised we didn't have the mascots revealed in this trailer, but I too think they are wolves based on the images.

I can imagine one wolf will have a thinner and more streamlined appearance with sharp edges as the Sword Mascot, while the other wolf will have a bulkier appearance and look more metallic as the Shield Mascot.

It seems to be more of the old style capture system. When the female trainer encountered a wild Pikachu she sent out a Mincinno to battle it instead of just throwing balls at it.

I'm glad cuz I didn't bother with the Let's Go titles because of it's battle system.

I wonder how the manga will handle these games? Sword & Shield will be awkward names for protagonists, but I guess if they made Lacktwo & Hitetwo/X & Y work... Am betting on one of them having an accent like Sapphire was given.

Those legendaries would be much more interesting IMO. Please no "Armored" Evolutions. We don't need another version of Charizard & Mewtwo.
