Grookey's stick seems to be a wooden bat and the patterns on it's body resemble the kind of gloves used in sports with bats and the pattern on it's face resembles sport glasses

Definitely possible. People are speculating the train could lead to kilos since the region was so underdeveloped has a train and a lot they could go back to. As well as France not being to far from the uk irl.

Bear in mind that nothing about the Alola starters indicated we'd be getting an Archer, a Wrestler, and a Siren.

People assumed it was circus themed with a Ringleader, a Hoop Jumping Tiger, and a Clown/Horn Playing Seal.

I'm pretty sure it's spelled "kinetic" energy. Ken makes me think more of punches because that's the Japanese word for fist.

I know Fire/Fighting isn't the most renown type after getting 3 in a row, but I'd accept a Rabbit Pokemon getting a Fire/Fighting type, especially if they are a kickboxer. The other typing I'd accept is Fire/Ground if it meant the Rabbit Pokemon doing a foot thumping animation while doing Earthquake. Any typing that puts it's legs to good use is a good in my book.
