So I went for the Caster banner in the hopes of finally pulling a copy of normal Tamamo.

I still didn't get normal Tamamo, even from this guaranteed gacha, but I was treated with this welcome face instead!

My reaction when I saw him:

Well well, I finally have my own Waver!

Ivander, you mentioned in one of your last comments to me that I was brave for going for the Caster banner despite already having Waver and Sanzang. At the time, you were incorrect: I only had Sanzang out of the three 5-star Casters in that banner at the time (perhaps you confused my second 5-star Caster with Merlin). Funny enough, I read that comment after I pulled from the guaranteed gacha (because I was away at a New Year's party when you left that comment about the guaranteed gacha). I wonder if those series of events were somehow connected with my luck in pulling Waver...

Anyway, I'm quite glad to pull Waver! If I didn't pull Tamamo from this guaranteed gacha banner, I was hoping I'd pull my first Waver instead (even if I already have Merlin), and here I am!

Now I got to work on leveling up Waver to max level. Too bad I'm nearly out of Mana Prisms (only have 100-ish left at the moment), so I can't just buy the EXP card sets to automatically make the process easier. Guess I got to do the things the tedious way by farming the hand enemies for now.

Well Shishoe and Ivander, looks like I've officially joined the Waver club with the two of you! I'm looking forward to using my Waver! I can't wait to see what interesting combinations I can do with my own Waver now!

I got Quetzalcoatl. While I do want Jeanne, I want to try and get her on my Pad account so that I can do the famous Vlad III/Tamamo/Jeanne Team setup between my accounts. So for my Pad account, since I didn't have a 5-Star Rider out of all the classes I had, I chose the Rider Gacha. And I got Quetzal. While I am a fan of Ozymandias a bit more and I would've liked Quetzal non-genderswaped, I did enjoy her in Babylonia nevertheless, so I'm certainly not sour about getting her.

The nice thing about getting her is that she is one of the best 5* Riders period, alongside Ozymandias. Combined with the fact that she's Story-locked and stuck to the Story Banner unless she's specifically on a Rate-Up Banner, she's one I feel proud about getting, as I have the chance to get Ozymandias anytime from a Gacha Banner.

So yeah, so far, my luck is doing pretty good too. Here's hoping the luck continues and I get Jeanne for my Pad account. Admittingly, getting Jack wouldn't be too bad either, as I don't have a 5* Assassin on that account and it would complete the White Hair Little Girl Trio, as I have Jeanne Alter Lily and Nursery Rhyme on that account.

In more positive news I played more Smash and goddamn I never thought I'd cry of laughter playing Smash, one of my friends is a K.Rool main and picked Great Bay for fun, I picked Richter and he went "goddammit" and my other friend picked Simon to rub it in. I have never seen such tranquil fury at a video game with my friend calmly yet clearly frustratedly going "What are my options here? What the actual **** is K.Rool supposed to do if Belmont just camps there and throws everything? I'm not even safe on Tingle's balloon, please, tell me!" Considering he was there when I had that Inkling argument he ended up saying "Let me guess, I just shouldn't get hit by the projectiles or whip?"

Just wanted to stop by and say happy new years to everyone.

Last year was pretty good with Octopath, Smash, Torna, Dragalia, Octo Expansion, etc,

I am pretty excited for this year with Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing already announced, (and hopefully still coming out in 2019).

2018 has been a bit mixed in general if I do say so myself. I already mention this many time before too, basically, for those who focuses on Nintendo first party games on Switch, I can see 2018 being a pretty boring and even dry year due to ports, and games like Mario Party and Kirby, then with the only big game being Smash Ultimate at the end of the year. Not to mention Nintendo Labo despite it was being targeted to kids, and the new Online Service lacking voice chat and Virtual Console was a bummer for a lot of people.

For me at least 2018 was even better than 2017, many JRPGs arrives to Switch like XC2 Torna DLC, Ys VIII, VC4, VC1, DQ Builders, Shing Resonance Refrain, and Octopath etc.. Whoo... I couldn't even buy all of these games lol.

In more positive news I played more Smash and goddamn I never thought I'd cry of laughter playing Smash, one of my friends is a K.Rool main and picked Great Bay for fun, I picked Richter and he went "goddammit" and my other friend picked Simon to rub it in. I have never seen such tranquil fury at a video game with my friend calmly yet clearly frustratedly going "What are my options here? What the actual **** is K.Rool supposed to do if Belmont just camps there and throws everything? I'm not even safe on Tingle's balloon, please, tell me!" Considering he was there when I had that Inkling argument he ended up saying "Let me guess, I just shouldn't get hit by the projectiles or whip?"

Oh Great Bay, it was a stage from Melee that I remember the most, I like the Melee Zelda theme, but damn I dislike the stage...

I love all the new designs.
It is how i dreamed the franchise looking like on the actual generation.

They feel modern, but at the same time memorable (i can completely say without any context who is who).

Activision is doing a great job handling the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro franchises these days, and i can’t wait for the things that are going to happen.

I remember trying to pull for Waver during the Fate/Zero event, but it wasn't a serious commitment to pull compared to when I tried to pull for Summer Tamamo or Merlin. I think I only did one or two 30-Quartz summoning while using all my tickets and that's it. Waver was more like a "it'd be cool to have him, but he's not a heavy priority" since I had multiple friends who used Waver, though when I learned about what was coming for the Guaranteed Gacha, I thought, "Well, perhaps if I don't pull Merlin, I think this Caster gacha will give me something, whether it'd be Tamamo or Waver."

And congrats on getting your Waver to 10/10/10 with his skills! I'm having more and more friends reach that point too with their Wavers, so it's definitely looking to be pretty nice when I use other people's Wavers.

I've got a long way to go to 10/10/10 my Waver though. I just looked about what Ascension materials he needs for Ascending and leveling up, and they are rather similar to what Merlin requires (only difference is that Waver needs Void's Dust for some skills and Phoenix Feathers for Max Ascension, the latter I thankfully have). Great, I'm going to need EVEN MORE Forbidden Pages and Eternal Gears than I originally anticipated. >_>

The next Forbidden Pages and Eternal Gears I'll use will be to Max Ascend Waver as quickly as possible. After that, I want to use them for my Merlin's skills. He's on a higher priority for me when it comes to reaching 10/10/10 skills because not too many of my friends have Merlin, and I want to give them an extra hand by having lowered cooldowns on all his skills.

Also, congrats on pulling Quetzalcoatl! She's definitely a very good Rider and makes a nice single target NP Rider option. I also grew to like her a lot from playing the Babylonia: very fun character and definitely my favorite of the characters from the Three Goddess Alliance.

Hope you'll pull Jeanne in your other Fate/GO account!

Not really as I've learned to consistently parry the blunderbuss. I usually get under him and we ended up going under the main platform of Great Bay so he was especially ****ed as the crown doesn't even reach that far
