I get the feeling the conflation between Samus and ZSS is significant because removing her power suit is a running theme.

The real question is where all the in-between stuff went. Since suited Samus went up to SSS tier, I think I know the answer.

Why aren't the male and female versions of some characters not separated? I mean, considering it counts the Links as separate characters as well as Samus and Zero Suit, I don't see why the genderswapped versions aren't counted separately.

Just wanted to stop by and say happy new years to everyone.

Last year was pretty good with Octopath, Smash, Torna, Dragalia, Octo Expansion, etc,

I am pretty excited for this year with Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing already announced, (and hopefully still coming out in 2019).

Get a Support Spirit that gives you a Staff, like the Centurion from Kid Icarus. Because Peach won't run to you and will stay where she is while you are far away, you can shoot her with the Staff that deals more damage the more far away you are.

Fast Final Smash Meter(Ashley Spirit grants this effect if you have her) + Double Final Smash from the skill tree. I let DK and Mario beat me up a bit and then go bam.
I recommend a FS that you don't have to aim beforehand and doesn't require you to get close. I went with Pac-Man as he just zips around the stage so quickly that he can KO all three in one go.

Apparently, Spirits that give you a Staff (the item that increases in power the further you are from the target) and "Shooting Items Up" are good for Pauline.

The idea is that the AI only evades when you're close to them, and makes no attempt to dodge the shots from the Staff.

Very late response on my part, but I appreciate all the advice, folks! Thank you! I'm definitely going to try all these strategies out (unless my very next attempt is successful; it'll probably be a while though, as I don't believe I have any of those Spirits yet, nor any of those Fighters.)

I stayed over with some friends for new years and we had some highlights. I got someone stuck between the boats and water on Tortimer Island, before spiking them, I won a Smashdown run, I was talking about how Zero should be promoted right before someone summoned him, I used Ridley's side b to recover and accidentally murdered Ghirahim who teleported on me and I won a match by baiting someone as Ike with Eruption screaming "COME ON COME ON **** WORM BRING IT YOU COWA-three pillars"
