I finally beat World of Light an hour ago (100% too).

Mythra was literally the last Spirit I got in the game beside the boss ones you get afterward.

MK is, or at least used to be, pretty goofy.

It only really started to take itself more seriously with the reboot, amplified further with X.

But before that... Well...

MK started to be a bit more serious and gritty Deadly Alliance and onward. Before that, well I guess MK1 and more so MK2 had a pretty spooky atmosphere for the time. MK3 to an extent if the fatalities weren't so really, really dumb. MK4 is.... MK4, yeah. Even then you got to consider the media around them like the album, the movie, and the cartoon. LMFAO. Then there's Sub Zero Mythologies.... Oof

I feel like the real problem here is that he's abusing the term edgy LOL. Edgy is not a catch-all for "don't like this", people! And while you're at it learn to enjoy a little ebony painted camp once in a while!

The actual point here is that gore is the boogers and zit pus of the action genre. It ain't necessarily darker than anything else but hell it's just kind of nasty.

Even the "grittier" MK games still have some lighthearted and goofy elements to it. The gore's also usually pretty goofy. I think that's why some people don't wince at the violence and instead think it's hype because it's not realistic or anything. Though it's still too much for some people, which is fair.

To fair, Shish is just a contrarian for the sake of it. Like how one minute he says he loves Metal when I post it and the next he says he hates it and acts like he's all classy.

I will say though, Street Fighter 4 Evil Ryu's design is waaaaaaay better than Kage Ryu. I get they were going for the literal traditional Japanese demon design for his face, but he doesn't much else in his design going for him. I mean, Alpha Evil Ryu is a simple re-color, like Shin Akuma and that works fine for what it is. SF4 Evil Ryu had a more unique color scheme, the cool red hair that stood up, and the the cool fire scar.

Honestly the worst part about Kage is the headband scarf. I'm not sure if I dislike the design or the fact it clips EVERYWHERE.

Someone asked yesterday (or the day before?) if there were any Support Spirits that have Giant Killer. Soma Cruz, the Enhancement of Dracula, has it, but they hadn't seen any Support Spirits with it.

I can finally answer, yes, there are Spirits with Giant Killer, they're really rare.

The Blast-o-matic (K. Rool's Final Smash) Spirit has it, you can get it from Sheldon's Store for 10,000 SP; the only other one I've seen with the ability is Dragoon, which you get from the Challenge Board for beating all the Battles in World of Light.

It seems like a real cool idea on paper I think. But the clipping issues I've seen on streams and stuff makes it look dumber than it should. Again, I just think SF4 Evil Ryu was a better evolution to the Evil Ryu from Alpha. It has similarities to Akuma, but had enough to be unique.

Agreed.

That said I do like his story costume quite a bit more though.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure I would LOVE it if they just made it part of his model like normal Ryu's headband and had the strands be all physicsy.

I didn’t even bother to go 100% out of saltiness and anger, but was fully relieved to have beaten WoL with the real ending (gonna watch the two bad ones) and unlocked the ability to change menu songs (so I can “sing” to everything)

oh they were toaster waffles, Apprently the heat was up to high rip. good thing is they werent burt to a crisp so they were still edible.

We do have a waffle maker and damn, does it make some good ass waffles but thats normals used for special occasions
gotta start using that bad boy more
