Alright people, I'm out, going to be playing Ultimate all the afternoon. I'll come back in 6 hours or so to give impressions on it. I hope I get to play Shulk at least. See you all later!

That reminds me... what about Bayonetta? Does she have a spirit too? If so any changes?
All playable characters have spirits, and Bayonetta is no different... As for being censored, I'm not quite sure, but I believe so... they used her Bayonetta 2 art, which showed a bit of skin, and I believe they censored that... I can't say for sure now, because Nintendo confiscated most of the Spirit images... But if I remember correctly, yes...

Someone managed to reach her Final Ascension just in time for the holidays!

It's still going to take some more EXP cards to get her to Level 80 though.

In JP Fate/Grand Order news, Type Moon finally remembered that best girl Sion Eltnam Atlasia from the Tsukhime/Melty Blood series exists!

There was a problem fetching the tweet

She goes by her original name: Sion Eltnam Sokaris. She still works for Atlas, and in the Fate/Grand Order universe, she'll be helping Chaldea throughout the remaining Cosmos in the Lostbelt chapters.

It's really nice to see that Nasu remembers her considering its been forever since we got anything Tsukihime/Melty Blood being acknowledged. Tsukihime remake when, Type-Moon (so that we could finally get a new Melty Blood game)?

And we also got a new trailer for the next Cosmos in the Lostbelt chapter, set to take place in China:

The masked Saber shown a while back will now appear, as well as two other Chinese servants. Some returning servants for this story include Mordred, Spartacus, and Jing Ke. Tamamo Assassin is also set to make an appearance.

And want to know the real kicker: Urobutchi is writing Cosmos in the Lostbelt Chapter 3! Yep, looks like this next chapter will get pretty dark and gritty!

Hmm not too wowed by this year's Sonic hacking contest.

At least on the 2D side of things.

Wait? How are you manage to play it? Like via mod or demos?

Yeah, then I guess there really should be no complaints when they censor any of those I guess... that being said I personally don't think it is necessary.

So is how Nintendo will remove the feather of Mr.G&W's forward smash look because it somewhat shows the American aborigine stereotype... which was not a big deal but this make me a bit concerned since this might just lower the bar of what offense or not to a certain culture, religion, and especially certain type of people.

Not too many changes, just minor skin coverups for both Bayo 1 and 2 Spirits

And don’t worry, literally everything offends people these days, so we are forced to change

Just found an outfit swap between :ultpit: and :ultbayonetta:.

Can't exactly post it.

So I'm doing the only logical thing:

Tagging Coricus Coricus and running away.

Yeah, this year's entries are primarily 3D focused, both due to the release of Forces and because a bunch of the Adventure Era games have seen huge developments in modding potential over the past year. Heck, there's even a fairly extensive Sonic '06 mod in the Expo entries. One of the staple judges of the SHC even decided to skip being a judge this year because he hates 3D Sonic and hasn't played any of the vanilla versions of 3D Sonic games outside of Sonic Adventure.

It means the entries are less accessible as ROM hacks are by far a lot easier to use for most people and can run on a potato. Forces especially might need people to have decent gaming rigs to play the game properly (some of the Forces mods I've tried also have optimisation issues on top of that).

The good news is that when it comes to the PC games, Steam had an Autumn Sale (ends later today) and all of the Sonic games have big discounts right now, so if there's any games you wanna try mods for, now would be the time to get them. Sonic Adventure DX for example is only a little over a dollar I think, and should run on most computers (I used to play the 2003 PC version on my mother's office computer with integrated graphics when I was a kid, lol). It has a number of cool mods available under both the contest and expo entries.

I myself am intending to upload 4K 60 FPS videos of at least every 3D entry, plus you have other people doing streams, so that's an alternative if you want to at least see how the mods play.

I'll probably post around a playlist when I get all of them done later in the week, but here's a few good ones I've uploaded already. I'm about to wrap up the Forces mods today and will continue with mods for Generations next.

Ugh lol I'm jealous you can play those Forces mods, they look so good.

Though I can try out the DX and SA2 mods as I actually own those games and can run them well. So I'm gonna give them a shot later today.

I hope there is jank like this in Ultimate.

That's actually Z-Axis shenanigans so it's likely still in
I know that, but the video is still funny.

'can't wait someone winning EVO by dodging a powerful projectile with Shulk taunt. (Which might happen since Shulk is looking really good in this game)

The creator of Spongebob died. Wow...
...Of course we couldn't end this day on a happy note?

Well first of all, RIP Stephen Hillenburg, thank you for creating a great show that even peoples who haven't watched much of it (like myself, please don't kill me) can still have a good laugh thanks to the memes peoples created out of it and the show itself being hilarious.

Second of all, I hope Death on the Castlevania stage can be beat up to...well, death, because I'm getting tired of seeing great peoples dying almost every months.

:( Aww, no. That's so unfortunate. I gotta thank him for making his creation part of my childhood, definitely. May he rest in peace.

I cannot hide how SpongeBob has been a huge part of my life and we cannot deny the series is a timeless classic despite the bumpy years.
I knew he had a degenerative diesease but 57 still is too soon.
Godspeed Stephen and thank you.
