If you hear a guitar while you are moving in the world, you're probably screwed.

Outside of that, just know the gameplay will be really slow at the beginning, (I say until the middle of chapter 3, the game is really simple due to lack of blades on your party) so take your time and be sure to give every members in your party (beside Tora since he can't get blades) another blades on them as soon as you can so that you can do crazy stuff like blades combo & drivers combo, which both alot of damages, especially if you combine them (the game will explain what those two things are in time).

Considering you played XCX I can say that:

-There's fall damage like in XC1, and it sucks harder
-If you use an art when an auto-attack is hitting, you can do a cancel (indicated by a small blue bubble), cancelling charges your specials higher.
-Gacha is cruel but it has a pity system tho
-You'll have to guess if an enemy is sight/sound aggressive or not, as the visual indicators are gone
-Picking HP potions spawned during battle is a must in early-game
-Never ever allow Nia to get aggro, so never put TNK Blades on her
-Constantly check and sell stuff in your inventory as it fills faster than in other games
-When you use a Blade Special you can run faster to reposition or pick items during battle
-The duration of chain attacks depends on the amount of elemental orbs that you put on the enemy
-Build Mythra to cheese half of the game

Nintendo owns the names of the Jet Force Gemini and Blast Corps' Japanese versions. It's easily possible they were going to put the content in because they thought Nintendo owned the IPs themselves. Then they found out that's not the case, and cut it wholesale. Why they failed to cut all the files? Cause it's well known that Sakurai has always had leftover files and sometimes misses things when scrubbing.

It's also possible that they are meant for DLC and already licensed, but don't want the file active yet. They can't use any content like that without licensing, so it being a proper placeholder could be possible too. It's probably the first one, but we should find out soon enough if we're getting Microsoft content.

Rare does not have unused spirits.

Blast Corps and Jet Force Gemini appear in the list of represented franchises but have no content in the game. We have no idea what they may have had, but we haven't found evidence of any removed spirits, much less ones from these specific franchises.

Similarly, there is no Rare copyrights in the code. There are Nintendo copyrights for the 12 Donkey Kong songs in the game originally composed by Rare. Rare is only mentioned because the game is giving them proper credit.

IIRC Papa Geno rode the Grinch leak to the bitter end even when pretty much every insider voiced their doubt (presumably because it had Geno in it, but that's just my speculation due to the *cough* obvious detail here), so considering that's the entirety I know of his track record and I'm pretty sure he doesn't even have much of one otherwise I honestly have no clue why anyone would listen to him in the first place, let alone STILL.

But then the answer is probably something depressing and glaringly obvious like "who needs facts when you can convince yourself Banjo and Kazooie are getting into Smash" and considering that as far as my personal tastes go Rare's designs are probably the least appealing designs I can think of in terms of suggested Smash newcomers, I'm guessing I'm just immune. . .?

...What are you on about? Papageno always make it clear when he get something wrong in a previous video, and while yes, he has bias toward those characters and others, he isn't the kind to straight-up say "Man, who care about proof?", and then putting his hand on ears to not listen to what anyone say about him.

Also, peoples follow because he is just a nice dude, simple as that. Sure, he has problems and forget important details like vaanrose shown, which cause more problems since his fanbase is pretty big and follow what he say to a T (even when he say that's just opinion or he is making guesses). That's a problem he should pay more attention off because having a big and loud fanbase can ruin any creators credibility, but still, don't go like he is just doing it to get E-fame.

Shish it gets better, one of the spells Sypha uses in the second to last episode is Ice Needle from Portrait of Ruin. AKA the most broken ****ing spell in that game

Hey there everyone, me back to Smashboards after three to four days of hiatus, Saturday here was Taiwan's 2018 national election + referendum... and reason why I mention this is because this marks the first time that I get to vote.

And let me tell ya, it... wasn't a good experience when I also need to vote for referendum... there were just ton of topics so it takes a while for me to stamp all of it... and so is my people national wide.

One thing I liked from XC2 is how almost everyone had healing options so you could just not run a straight up vanilla Healer (Nia) if you wanted to.

Haze is the best healer, period... nah not really but I still think she was good nonetheless since she's like the only healer in Torna DLC.

Save level 4 Special to avoid any deadly attacks... oh wait this isn't a tip for newbie anymore.

Well... at least from Yongyea's discussion with Jason Schreier, many Youtubers are starting to give their own commentary on this matter. Which yeah, both these Youtubers pretty much spoke out what I thought when I watch the discussion video.
