I have beaten the first dungeon within the dark world, and have rescued the first of the seven sages. The dungeon was easier than I expected.

I plan on powering through the second dungeon right now while I watch the nhl games on tv lol.

So if Ultimate actually has 1,034 tracks, I got a lot of work to download if I want to complete my collection.

I've gotten 753 from the previous titles and looks like I'll need to do at least 300 for the new Ultimate ones.

I've made a table for me to keep track of the music:

Not counting the jingles/fanfares, the songs I've collected range from 1 to ~8 minutes. So a few days maybe.

And it's been reported that Ultimate's 1,034 tracks will take 6 days to fully listen to.

Of course the grinch leak was fake so anything is possible. But this at least has more realistic character choices and goals, as well as clear images.

My big problem though is that this coincides with the Russian employees rumor for the whole dlc which came out last week. Which seems too convinent.

So it’s probably fake but it would be cool if real.

I don't buy it just because why the hell would DLC characters be in the difficulty slider? Like, the mural I'd buy, but why would anyone edit the difficulty slider post-release? It seems like a really weird thing to mess with.

That and I think a Nintendo rep or someone said "as a gamer" they were excited for the DLC and I don't think anyone as a gamer gives a flying flip about one of those characters, both if I'm choosing to be a little mean to a certain fandom.

*EDIT* Also looking a little closer those two do not match the difficulty slider artstyle as well as the supposed leaker thinks they match the difficulty slider artstyle, LOL

Let me just say...
You'll get a lot more from DS3 if you play DS1 first. I'd recommend DS2 too, but it's... an acquired taste.

I dunno, in terms of lore you're right.

But DS3 is like the most newcomer friendly Souls game while DS1 can be pretty obtuse to a fault when starting out.

Yeah, but lore-wise, he's going to miss out on a LOT of references and a pretty amazing game to fumble around in as a newcomer. DS3, smooth as it is, doesn't really have the same feeling of exploring the interconnected world of DS1.

But to be fair.

The less furry one would be hype as hell.

Despite the intense heartfelt desires from that fandom, I just can't bring myself to be all that interested in anyone from that franchise unless Sakurai went with a left field pick. But I can't argue with how much they'd at least be a character that earned it.

That said, I also don't think they have quite enough glitz and glam to be a five star crowd pleaser on the level of generic average gamers jumping up and down in excitement, which is why I'm kind of Press X to Doubt on that front.

It's why my current imaginary money is on Dovahkiin. Skyrim is stupid popular to the point el generico gamer would be hype at an inclusion, has a Switch release, and Bethesda seems into the idea. Steve fits about as well and also strikes me as likely-ish but it's just more fun to speculate the Dragonborn LOL.

What? There's plenty of new bosses.

Rathalos, Lumen Sage/Balder, Dracula, Werewolf, King Bulblin, Marx, Ganon and the WoL bosses are all new.

The only ones returning from Brawl were Tabuu and Galleom, then there's the rest which is just regular Smash bosses the Hands and Giga Bowser.

The Dragonborn should totally be in Smash. He's got everything he needs to be a unique and successful character.

-Rayquaza, Duon and Porky not returning is surprising since the former has a model they can use from the Kalos league. and the latter two I thought could follow Galleon after its return.
-Werewolf over Death would be very surprising since while the boss is fun, Death is far more prominent in the series.
-Similarly, there's a number of stage hazard bosses that I figured would've made the jump like Metal Face, Yellow Devil, and the Dark Emperor.

With that said, at least it'll be nice to have a boss for Ganon, Balder, and Marx since those have been fan favorites in their respective series and I personally would love to see Ganon in action just to relive the OoT memories with any character of my choice. Some of the others like Werewolf and King Bulbin could also be fun minibosses depending on how they're implemented.

Yeah no Yellow Devil is especially weird given how Dr. Wily is an AT, I thought they would try to implement both somehow.

But this still could be fake at the end of the day, but at the very least both Ganon and Marx seem to be confirmed since others have found them in the files.

I also kinda wanted a Rathian just because why the hell not, might as well put both in. But I didn't think she was likely.
