It got plenty of new tracks though, just that remixes were reserved for older games.

The real Highway Robbery is the lack of Vs Red/Lance getting a remix all to itself. Same with N's theme. And Johto Gym. And Unova Elite 4. At least Hoenn got it's Victory Road and Champion Steven. Oh, and Zinnia too. I know there's other Hoenn music but I forget which tracks.

Wow, things really blew up while I was at work. Loving all of the new remixes and rips, I already have a few favorites that I've gone back to (Ridley's, Crocodile Cacophony, and Divine Bloodlines), but there's so many that I'm going to have a lot of fun messing around with My Music in this game.

Oh. Roar is Rathalos' theme in general, even from the first MH game. On the other hand, Proof of a Hero? Cool.

Interesting that they threw this in there, I'm guessing they may have the Rathalos fight followed by this theme similar to the second phase of Jhen Mohran? That would be a pretty cool nod if they went that route since it always gave a heroic feel to the fight.

Either way, I'm happy at least this theme also got in.

I actually just remembered Dark Samus exists.

Unfortunately, it doesn't get a new theme either, despite Ridley getting a dark reprise of the usual Metroid victory jingle.

She actually shares Ridley's theme, you can hear it in her gameplay videos like this one.
