Yeah, apparently Brazil elected their version of Trump, or is at least winning.

That's all I really know.

Yeah, this is what I'm talking about. This ****ing country is gonna elect a literal fascist.

Trump is dumb and ignorant, this guy is much worse. He's a hateful ******* that actively supports a militar dictatorship and the "cleansing" of minorities. And that's just scratching the surface of the issues

Trump is dumb and ignorant. Trump is destroying important relationships with Europe, Asia and more continents and I am mad. ALSO HOW DID KAVANAUGH GET ELECTED SO EASILY. I hope Kavanaugh and Trump get impeached and out of the White House.

Also I heard of him I think, that sounds rough. I hope Brazil does not crumble into a dictatorship.

Like, this election is definitely going to the tiebreaker phase, but that doesn't matter much when Brazilian Trump is gonna go against someone from PT which is, for whatever reason that I still fail to understand, considered just as bad as him, so even if Brazilian Trump's rejection is bigger than 50%, a lot of people will just vote Null and he'll win with, like, just 48% or something.

I guess the anime-onlys are beginning to see why Erehisu is a popular ship amongst the manga fans after this episode. That scene between Eren and Historia was pretty cute! Mikasa's jealous face was gold!

From this opening scene, we learn what Historia has been doing upon becoming queen of humanity: she has been trying to give the orphans from the underground an orphanage to live in. Levi helped her making this policy happen since he too came from the underground and can give some feedback on the matter. The fact she went out of her way to make this orphanage happen led her to becoming known as the "goddess of cattle" as a new nickname.

After some banter between Eren, Armin, and Jean, Eren and Historia talk about the recent events (the orphanage and the hardening experiments) and what's to come. Eren eventually brings up about the possibility that he has to confront Reiner and Bertolt again, with Historia asking about it. He states, "I've got no other choice... but to kill them." The sentence basically summarizes the short little Q&A exchange Historia have there from the manga; in the source material, after Eren brings up about killing Reiner and Bertolt when he runs into them, Historia follows up and asks him, "Do you want to kill them?" He replies, "I have to kill them." The anime made the delivery of the scene a bit different here by removing that specific Q&A and having Eren simply respond to Historia's one question with that "no other choice... but to kill them response."

I think the anime's slight edit still captures Eren's character development nicely here: the brief pause he makes (evident with the ellipsis) indicates he is thinking for a moment. He isn't raging at Reiner and Bertolt, cursing them and wanting them dead like he initially responded to them after learning their truth in Season 2. Rather, he has a brief moment of hesitation, thinks about it, and accepts the fact he has to kill Reiner and Bertolt not as some personal vengeance deal, but in order to fulfill the mission and for the sake of his friends and humanity. There's also the fact he is still suffering from his depression following the events at the Reiss cave, which made him think he actually isn't as special as he thought and recognized how much of a brat he was leading up to it.

We learn that there has been a two month time-skip with this episode since Historia's coronation; in that time frame, the interior police and the past nobles have been arrested, and humanity has started making use of the crystals in the Reiss cave as a new and efficient source of light. In that same scene in the manga, there is also a mention that humanity was also able to make use of weapons that were previously withheld by the Interior MP for fear of being "too advanced" and could disrupt the king's rule, but the anime removed that line. I'm guessing this line will be brought up...

When the Thunder Spears are introduced in the next arc (there is that flashback where Hange introduces it to the Survey Corps soldiers and tests it out in that field, so they could bring up how the explosives used in it was among the weapons that was previously withheld by the Interior MPs.

In that time skip, Eren has also been going through several experiments to perfect his hardening ability. We see one of the results from it: The Titan guillotine. Eren has used his hardening powers to create a kind of layer on the outskirt of Wall Maria that can lure Titans into that gap, and then a giant piece of wood drops down from the top of the gap to strike the Titan's nape and kill them. With this invention, Titans can now be far more efficiently killed: humanity can now rely on this weapon to kill most of the Titans without sending humans out of the walls to risk their lives trying to kill them. Hange is pretty excited about it! Meanwhile, Eren gets a nosebleed because he's been using his Titan powers too much from doing those hardening experiments frequently.

The Survey Corps also gets a bunch of new recruits from the Military Police and the Recon Corps following the Uprising: Marlowe is one of them. We learn that Hitch begged him not to join since she likes him (romantically) and thus doesn't want him to potentially die, but Marlowe didn't get the hint. As the comic-relief characters, Connie and Sasha make fun of Marlowe for being dense, but Marlowe isn't alone at being dense. Eren is too when he supports Marlowe's stance. I guess that's just a typical trait those MCs have in fiction!

Also:

Floche has red hair (yes, that's the middle dude's name)? Oh my, and here I thought he was a blondie the entire time I saw him in the manga. Well, I guess I can see why his hair is red here: gotta go for some distinguished and unique hair colors!

Gotta love how Jean low-key called out Eren's interactions with Historia shortly after Floche's introduction lol. There is a some fun banter with out heroes, and it eventually leads to them questioning Eren about the man that he saw from Grisha's memories. It's when Jean brings up how he needs to be smacked by the Commandant that Eren realizes the man Grisha met in those memories was Keith Saides, the military training instructor from the first few episodes of Season 1 and the previous commander of the Survey Corps.

And then we see Eren, his friends, Levi, and Hange dropping by to visit Keith. Sasha has some comedic moments here. First, she hides behind Jean the moment they run into Keith, and then after everyone sits down in Keith's room, Sasha is standing by the door and looking very panicked despite being offered a seat. We learn that she frequently went to that room to get chewed out by Keith, so it's no surprise Sasha is outright scared of Keith (heck, remember that punishment Keith gave to Sasha in Season 1 where she had to run for an entire day? Yeah, he was pretty harsh on her).

Eren confronts Keith about what he knows about Grisha. Keith says he can't provide much but a "useless story" that explains his past in meeting Grisha and what happened from there leading up to the fall of Wall Maria.

There are now heavy implications that Grisha is from a place outside the walls, since Keith first discovered Grisha in some kind of worn-outs state by the outer gate's entrance while scouting in the area one night. Oddly enough, Grisha seemed to have no memories about himself other than his name and the fact he was a doctor. More interestingly, Keith notes there were practically no Titans near the wall when he found Grisha. Those things combined, Grisha's Titan powers might've come into effect here (perhaps he's the one who killed all the Titans nearby before Keith with his Titan power, and the amnesia thing gives me vibes of when Eren couldn't remember everything that transpired when he first got his Titan powers). Keith eventually goes out of his way to introduce Grisha about the walled society. The fact Grisha had to learn everything about the walled society's currency and culture also implies he's from somewhere outside the walls.

Grisha comments how noble it is that Keith is part of a faction of the military that is devoted to going beyond the walls to kill Titans there and try to find the truth. In that same scene, we also learn Carla works as a bartender in the bar Grisha and Keith are currently at, and she goes up to chastise on trying to recruit people to the Survey Corps (at least, in her view).

From there, we gain a lot of insight into Keith Saides's character. We learn that he always wanted to lead the Survey Corps and help them achieve great things; he was especially driven to do this seeing how the Survey Corps have been looked down upon for so long with their repeated failures. He also witnessed Grisha becoming a prodigy of sorts when he uses his skills as a doctor to cure the people of Shingashina from a pandemic that breaks out, with Hannes's wife, Carla, and her parents among the many that are saved thanks to Grisha's knowledge. It's also from Grisha's actions during this event that him and Carla fall in love and get married. What's more, Keith was in love with Carla too! Oof, imagine how that must've felt! There was even a scene from the manga that was cut here where we see Keith walking away from the wedding a short while later, which showed how saddened he was from it.

While Grisha went on to become a revered figure for what he did as a doctor, Keith, meanwhile, was going nowhere. Despite finally being appointed as the new Commander of the Survey Corps, the Survey Corps still couldn't succeed under his command. They even lost their base to a Titan attack at one point! The amount of failures he went through and comparing himself to how much Grisha accomplished ultimately crushes Keith, developing an inferiority complex in the process. He thought he'd be a special/chosen-one like he'd hope, but in the end, he wasn't. While returning from an expedition one night, he even learns Carla and Grisha eventually have a child: Eren. Upon seeing baby Eren, Keith approaches Carla, questions her, and even snaps from his inferiority complex, going as far as even low-key roasting Carla.

Sometime later, he appoints Erwin as the new commander of the Survey Corps, thinking he is better fit for the job. I wish the anime included that small scene prior from the manga involving Erwin introducing Keith to the long-range scouting formation, and then Keith rejects it and tells Erwin, "Do that once you're the commander." It gives the scene where Keith makes Erwin the new commander more impact, as the earlier scene shows how Erwin would make a fitting successor from making a brilliant plan like that. On a different note, I did like the animes addition of the Mike and Nanaba cameos in that scene with Erwin and Keith: it's nice to see them again when you remember the last time they were shown, it was when they met their brutal deaths.

When Wall Maria fell, Keith was in Trost. Grisha managed to find him there after the entire event at the Reiss chapel, and with Keith's help, Grisha finds Eren in the shelter. He wakes Eren up, and Eren tells him that his mom was eaten by the Titan. The news hits Keith hard, as he collapses onto his knees upon hearing it. What makes it more heart-breaking for him is that the last time he talked with Carla, he snapped at her, so he felt the need to apologize her to from back then (the manga did a better job explaining this small little tidbit). Now that she's dead, there's no way he can apologize now.

As Grisha takes Eren to the forest nearby, Keith questions him why would he pass on this burden of taking vengeance to his son rather than doing it himself (even going as far as calling out Grisha as the "special" one). Grisha simply tells him that Eren is his son and is nothing like Keith, so it's best for the latter to stay out of it. Keith eventually locates Eren after seeing lightening in the distance and brings him back to the shelter.

As Keith closes his story, Hange gets upset at him for withholding such crucial information about Grisha. It also leads into this very touching scene at the end of the episode:

We learn that Keith is the one to have tampered with Eren's 3D Maneuver Gear belt back when he was training (yeah, always seemed kinda suspicious that Eren's belt was not working properly at that time; something was definitely up) because he wanted to fulfill Carla's wish and not have Eren go beyond the walls, but when he saw Eren's determination, he had a change of heart and allowed Eren to properly succeed with that test back then. It was at that moment Keith realized he himself was nothing more than a bystander.

This same scene also serves the concluding point of Eren's character arc from these past few episodes. The events at the cave lead him to think only his Titan powers were special, not him. It was a major part that lead to the depression he was experiencing in during those previous episodes. Hearing that his mother thinks he is special just for being born into the world rather than being the "son of a special man" lifted a big burden off his chest and made him more content about himself.

It was a great episode and solid adaptation overall! I loved the Erehisu interactions, Jean's moments, and learning Keith's backstory. I especially liked the choice of music that was used in explaining his backstory too. I also loved how this episode shows more of Eren's character development from his dialogue with Historia to that final scene where he learns of what his mother said back then as the main element that brings him out of his post-cave depression!

There's a very small chance for an upset but that would require a literal miracle for this country to stop acting like being "neutral" is an actual thing in politics.
The other hope is that all of his voters get charged for electoral crimes as there's a ****ton of people taking pics of their voting which is totally illegal.

Dang, you can type a long essay about simply watching a show.
You seem like a very intelligent person.

I’m afraid I don’t have much knowledge on Brazilian politics, but I’m really glad we can all agree that Trump is an *******.
I ain't sure about that one chief. He's still our political leader for the next two years, I ain't gonna trash on him even if its legal.
also kanye west stuff paired with him is hilarious

I appreciate the concern but I don't think I need to, I don't want to bother someone with PMs of me venting about things they don't even have the context for.
Sometimes it's better to just get things like this off your chest, right? I know there's probably not much I can do or say to help in a situation like what's happening out there now, but if at any point you do feel like talking about it will help, I for one am more than willing to listen (and I'm sure lots of other people here are, too). But if you'd rather not, then that's fine too. It's up to you.

The same invitation goes to everyone else here, too. Don't let anything drag you down too much; if you need someone to talk to I'll always be willing to lend an ear. I may or may not be able to do much to help, but I'll try my best.

Its called Soda Genie, it starts out as a normal episode but turns into Ace Attorney a few minutes in.
~Cloud Strife is in Smash and there is an episode about him~
~Ok is a taunt by Ness, and KO is in Smash as well as in Little Mac's fully charged neutral b~
~There was a scene that looked exactly like the "Challenger Approaching" section~
~An Ace Attorney Episode~

Does this mean Phoenix Wright for Smash? Is this what we have been missing all along?

Honestly, I never really watched OK KO because I do not care about CN that much liked I used to, but OK KO is actually a good show from what I saw. It looks good.

CN should invest in that show more often, because it makes children and adults happy it seems like. I am not saying this is their next Adventure Time, but it is a good show that should not be dropped off. It is not stagnant like TTG. TTG has been the dominant show for too long, CN has to take risks if they want to do better.

CN has a pretty great lineup atm.

Gum ball is on its final season. Craig of the creek is liked a lot but I’ve never gotten into it. Steven universe is picking up steam when not on hiatus.

Infinity train is coming and that’s going t be amazing. They also have Vincent and Valentino coming which a lot of people are hyped for.

Their lineup is pretty good and has a lot of variety. Ok ko is really a classic addition too. Even the Ben 10 reboot isn’t the worst. The network is definitely worth watching in the coming year.

lol yoo they nailed the Pheonix Write style music

CN has a pretty great lineup atm.

Gum ball is on its final season. Craig of the creek is liked a lot but I’ve never gotten into it. Steven universe is picking up steam when not on hiatus.

Infinity train is coming and that’s going t be amazing. They also have Vincent and Valentino coming which a lot of people are hyped for.

Their lineup is pretty good and has a lot of variety. Ok ko is really a classic addition too. Even the Ben 10 reboot isn’t the worst. The network is definitely worth watching in the coming year.
Glad to hear this!

Also I remember watching the first episode of Gumball way back in 2011. Man that was like seven and a half years ago.

Dad: I need something to watch. Is there anything on touch is like?
Me: well, its mostly video games that you probably won't like
Dad: well what games do you like?
Me: *debates if I should let him watch me play monster hunter*

Hmm, it would be pretty interesting if you let him watch you play Monster Hunter.
I say do it, but it is your choice. :p

Too much logic...but also too much truth
