It would be really cool if we have some popular anime characters as guest Blade. My top but also impossible picks are the RWBY main cast, especially Yang since she can just be a knuckle Blade but also as a Tank Blade (All Knuckle Blades are categorized as healers for some reason...).
And yes... I have already heard about this, I was both disappointed but also hope Japan can recover from the typhoon and earthquake soon. And yes, remember, Japan got a super typhoon first and then an earthquake in Hokaido... ouch...
Eight dead, roughly forty missing. Forced a (currently non-functional) nuclear plant to engage backup power to keep its fuel cool.
Possibly most relevantly, it damaged a thermal plant which cut power to, depending on who's reporting, three to five million homes. Reports suggest the whole island of Hokkaido was at least temporarily KO'd.
I can understand a delay. Putting it mildly, it's likely both their employees and their consumer base have more pressing matters to attend to.
Oh no, the nuclear plant give me some 311 earthquake flashbacks... please don't let it happen to Hokaido.
And... not taking shots at anyone but even if like 8 deaths might be regarded as almost minor to some, that's still pretty bad. And again, the middle to south region of Japan are still in waters, just like what happen to my city a few weeks ago but even worse.
Yeah, another topic I will bring up is that my country suffer a heavy rain in the south so my place were just flooding. Just look at this pic:
I would never ride my city's train in this weather...
Uh... no, they didn't forget or anything, I don't read Japan well but I can tell the Japanese says the livestream has been delayed and they will announce the date at a later date.
I went in and saw Veronica was losing slightly, she had no multiplier. Did a match. Suddenly I had a multiplier at the end of the match. Now she's got almost twice as many points as Lyn and it still isn't displaying a multiplier.
I was slightly disappointed by Fjorm not being the person Loki was pretending to be, and the real Fjorm not being the second sacrifice.
They were setting up Ylgr so obviously that I was kinda hoping it would be Fjorm to throw us for a loop. They had a good basis too - Fjorm's intense cough could have been explained by it being Loki, catching the cold in Nifl and then having it get worse in Muspell because pneumonia. Don't know when Loki could have made the switch, my memory is blurry there, but it would have been cool.
Also, please help Veronica win the Voting Gauntlet because they're probably gonna kill her off if we don't.
well seeing how half of my dreams involve me drowning in the ocean ether I fell in or my car drive into it, Im pretty happy my dream had me petting dogs then drowning in water
There's just one thing that I am really bothered when my brothers and sister are playing FEH...
One of brothers playing FEH non stop, even at work... which is fine, annoying, but fine.
And then, my little brother (Still same age though) spend whooping 250$ on his FH (Probably for orbs I guess)... not sure why he did it, but, is it really that necessary to spend money on orbs?

If you have any characters you really want to build, then yeah you kinda have to be willing to spend money. It depends on what you want out of the game.
For people who just want to collect one of each of their favourite characters, it's easy enough to get by without spending money as you can save your free Orbs until that character drops in a banner.
In my case, I just tend to get really unlucky. I save my Orbs but then IS drops three things I had been saving for within the same week. It happens every time. So I gotta spend money sometimes to make up the difference.
In this week's case I was pulling for Festival Elincia, Brave Veronica, and Brave Celica. Luckily I could claim Veronica as a free gift. Would have been nice to pull merges for her or get better IVs but I can't afford that right now because of Festival Elincia and Brave Celica. And I had to spend money to get both of those because I was getting bad luck on those banners. I might have gotten one of them if I didn't spend money but at the rate I was going I wouldn't get both.
I had the money to spare though so it's fine. Might have to postpone that extra 2 TB hard drive and Blu-Ray reader for my PC by another week but other than that it's all good.

Nah, this is one is definitely not true. It may take sometime but you can build any character you want as long as you're patient enough.
The only thing I'd say you'll need to spend money on is if you want a +10 5* exclusive.
Im personaly not shocked why I get those dreams lol even in my dreams i kinda give up when it happens and thats when I wake up and strangly its always me drowning.
This dog dream was great tho. I went to the beach with my sister and dad and I was messing with my sister then next thing I know, I was running aroubd with a puppy in my hands around the beach, putting it down and grabbing another puppy. I was just cycling through dogs lol

Except they often lock powerful skills behind rare 5-Stars that only show up with half decent pull rates every so often, and those units either are exclusive to a seasonal banner for a very, very long time or never get demoted to 4-Star and just end up as these elusive oddities like Hinoka.
And then there's units who just stop showing up as a focus altogether, which can be a problem if you want to merge them.
Even as a free player a 5* exclusive +10 is still possible. You just have to pull absolutely nothing for months on end to throw every orb you get at the banner of the character you want, and hope they don't share colours or anything. :p
But yeah. Spending money on the game is absolutely not necessary, I think. It's pretty generous, as gacha games go. You'll still mostly be able to get the characters you want and build them mostly as you want, you just have to make a few sacrifices in terms of particularly rare skills sometimes.

Patience is key, if you play long enough, you'll have enough Orbs to get a good chance on specific units. I have not spend a single cent in this game and managed to build a bunch of units withusable skillsets.
You don't even need 5* exclusive skills most of the time, some of the most useful skills are available at lower rarities(QR3, Fury 3, etc) and keep being added to the 4* pool(LnD3 and Spd Smoke 3 are recent examples with Sothe and Kaze).
Unless you want to build units to get on Tier 20 of Arena, F2P is more than viable.

It depends on what characters you want to build though. Some characters are low investment and don't require skills from rare 5-Stars. Others do.
My point wasn't whether or not F2P is "viable". It's easy to get through Story Mode and Special Maps with literal free units and a bit of Skill Inheritance, if that's all you care about. And I will be doing a complete F2P playthrough of the game for my YouTube channel in the future, basically just playing through Story Mode and treating it as a normal FE game (minus F2P pulls). If you start a new account right now, it's pretty easy to just play the game like a traditional RPG and play through Story Mode. Playing the game that way though is just akin to playing an average and mediocre FE game. I was just explaining to Mario why it can be necessary to spend money for some, using myself as an example. I don't even care about Arena and Arena Assault. I just hover around Tier 17-18 in Arena, I don't go for deathless anymore, and I literally haven't touched Arena Assault in months. A lot of the characters I happen to like and want to build are just very high investment and frankly I'd have dropped the game long ago if all I did was follow the obviously powerful units or solely relied on F2P squads. Skill Inheritance is what I play the game for, so I can tackle challenges using unorthodox or underrated characters. That's what makes the game fun to me. And to keep building my units, I have to deal with IS's schedule and the RNG. Which sometimes leads to having to spend a bit of money.
And the nature of power creep means you can sometimes end up with a character you had built and then they release two units with two new skills that are better than what you already have built and now you have to scramble for that - after JUST pulling for something else. Delthea just had this, Death Blow 4 and Special Spiral 3 released back to back and they're both objective upgrades to her kit. I'm probably gonna have to pass on Special Spiral right now, though I'll see where I'm at on the last day of that banner.
TL;DR 100% F2P is absolutely viable but doing so is boring for some people and it makes more sense for them to spend money on the game to enjoy it. You get what you pay for and all that.
Well, those books came out in Japan on August 31. In them, there is a surprising yet very exciting news that is mentioned towards the end of both books:
^This is a teaser that appears in both books that promises the "production of the Fates artbook is underway!" It also mentions the Awakening, Tellius, and SoV artbooks in the teaser as a way of saying "Just as how these games got art books, so too will Fates!"
Yep, looks like Yusuke Kozaki stuck to his word in that one Cipher presentation from back then when he promised he would release a Fates artbook soon. He previously mentioned he wanted to release it by the end of this year, but judging by how we're already a little past the halfway point of 2018, I'm guessing the Fates art book won't come until early 2019 at this rate.
But hey, Fire Emblem Fates is finally getting an artbook about four years after its Japanese release! This means we will finally see the official arts of all the Fates character rather than just the royals, Felicia, Jakob, Takumi's retainers, Leo's retainers, Saizo, and Kaze. They might even add some story details to it similar to what the SoV art book did to its game (perhaps the Fates art book will finally reveal the name of Fateslandia?)
As for the new story chapter in Fire Emblem Heroes:
>Loki is revealed to be the traitor that infiltrated the Askr group.
>Loki is also revealed to have disguised herself as Ylgr to infiltrate the Askr group.
>Alfonse spelling out the most obvious hint regarding Loki's Ylgr disguise:
My reaction:
Yeah, the moment Ylgr suddenly called out Kiran's name despite never meeting him/her before and right before Fjorm was about to introduce him/her to her, it was really obvious Ylgr would later be revealed to be Loki in disguise.
Would've been more interesting if someone else turned out to be the traitor. There was a moment where the story implied Fjorm could be that traitor with the way her coughs were getting worse. That would've been a more surprising twist. Alas, they won't with the obvious route.
The ending dialogue of the chapter also reminded us that Loki has much bigger plans in store, and that she is probably the main villain of Book II. My guess is that the next fight with Surtr will take place at the Rite of Flames where Veronica and the real Ylgr will be sacrificed, so I guess our heroes will have to kill him there before those two girls become the sacrificial lambs to bring back Surtr's resurrection powers.

We're gonna get the Fates artwork 3 full years after its release even though we've had SoV for a long while. Why the **** did it take so long?
My prediction is that we'll kill Surtr once and for all, save Veronic and the real Ylgr but then Loki will show up and **** things up, either revaling herself as the real villain or that she's working for someone else. There's still the plot point with the Musspel sisters that I don't see how it'll be concluded though. Part of me fears they'll pull "lol that didn't count" thing with Surtr again, or Loki will just outright backstab him.
Chapter will end in a cliffhanger for Book III.
And in Book III, we'll get Helbindi as a Fire Legendary Hero. He now has no reason to keep himself allied with Musspel.
And speaking of Helbindi, damn, I feel reaply sorry for him. It was a small part in today's chapter but I think it was the most impacting.
