Yeah it annoys me that the game was once bound for late 2017 and then got like 2 delays. For a game that had a lot of hype when it was announced it's sad to see it take so long to release.

Well I was under the impression when the game was first announced in February of 2017 that the game would launch by year end. Here we are nearing the later months of 2018 and still no release date. It's not a good way to sustain hype for your game.

Could have been a Capcom thing. But yeah it was pretty slack that Vaati didn't make the cut considering everyone of importance in the Zelda franchise made it in. Well everyone other than Saria unfortunately. What an injustice.

They helped develop The Minish Cap but IDK the legal situation with Vaati's ownership. Four Swords was also co-developed by Capcom but not FSA.

Saria is no less important than Daruina and Ruto. Being so closely tied to Link in OoT would have warranted her a spot in the HW roster I would think.

ACTUALLY! FUN FACT! I bought Spirit Tracks for 20 euros one day in France, Phantom Hourglass was there too. I really liked trains as a kid as many European kids did so that was a reason to get ST over PH. The other reason being that Phantom Hourglass never got a ****ing price drop and was twice as much as Spirit Tracks. Same **** for HeartGold and SoulSilver

Phantom Hourglass was my first Zelda game.

And I actually really liked it. But I can tell that if I ever went back to it I'd probably not love it as much.

Phantom Hourglass is pretty good (and Linebeck is great) but didn't click with me the same way Wind Waker did. I'm honestly mostly blaming this on how tiring it is to have go through the Temple of the Ocean King fifty million times. Spirit Tracks felt better to me overall, it's a solid entry in the franchise. Though the instrument mechanics are also frustrating in their own right. That's my only issue with it.

On that note, when do I get to see Tetra playable in Ultimate?
