Stats for L!Marth and the GHB unit

Also the new difficulty level beyond Infernal has been confirmed: Abyssal, beating L!Marth's map and F!Grima's one will award golden accesories.

An Abyssal unit will be the equivalent of a unit at 5*+20 with HP inflation.
I am going to do that Internal level and then try the Abyssal!
Like if I tend to struggle with Infernal, how can I even beat Abyssal?

Yeup.

I'm telling ya. If SK didn't, neither will she. I'll die on this hill.
I'm late on this

But SK's fate does not affect Shantae at all. Y'all might brand me biased because I support Shantae but that's not the case. SK's game wasn't even out in Japan when the plan for Ultimate was made iirc. This alone may have disqualified him.

Not only that, but Shantae has more of a history than SK, debuting in 2002 (although her series is still modern), and she'd be prone to having a more fun moveset. A dancing genie who can transform... or a skilled knight with a shovel.

SK being an assist has no impact on Shantae.

Welp, no Smash news as expected, but the games they did shown were interesting to me, so I may keep an eye on some of them.

Lol the Advance Wars-inspired indie game was the last game to be shown off. Nintendo has so many AW-indie games but no AW itself. Yuck.

And RIP Shantae. Well not really but RIP any sort of chance for her getting revealed in a Nindies Direct of all things.

Not sure why anything Smash related would come up from an indie direct.

Playing Monika's route in DDLC Purist Mod and my god, her theme in this is making me wish I could click my fingers. It's so good.

Literally every year is "what's the new AW-indie coming out this year?" Maybe one year it will actually be AW itself made by Intelligent Systems. Surely they have to see all these games coming out and realizing there's a market for a new AW.

Anything interesting with the Nindies Direct?

Missed it due to a wonderful 198 question exam I was taking. And by wonderful, I mean it was awful and I'm mentally exhausted.

Can't say I'm surprised.

And that applies to there being nothing interesting, and towards people actually expecting a Smash reveal. After all, what better way for Nintendo to show off Indie titles than to siphon all the attention with a character reveal their biggest game this year?

Funny I said exactly this yesterday.

I mean honestly I wouldn't even expect this in any other kind of Direct that's not a Smash focused one or a General Direct. Let alone an Indies Direct which is like 12 minutes long.

Short report on the things I gave a **** about from Nindie Direct USA Edition:

Treasure Stack mechanically sounds kinda cool. Don't know if that's enough to buy though. Signs point to no.

The World Next Door and Untitled Goose Game are probable Steam sale pickups. Zarvot, Samurai Gunn 2, and Bullet Age will all probably get there too, and if they do, same deal.

Not sure what to think about Mineko's Night Market yet. Looks very much like someone just sprinkled a ****load of cats on Harvest Moon. Whether and where I'll pick it up are all crapshoots.

Don't know if I'll pick up Levelhead or not either, but it's definitely got better odds. If I do, I'm torn whether to get it for Switch or Steam. If the ecosystem is shared (not sure, because it looks like Steam version uses Workshop) then that'll tear me even more. We'll see.

Happy to see Bastion, Transistor, and Superbrothers hitting Switch. Got all three elsewhere, but they could always use more love. Same kind of story with Hyper Light Drifter, but wonderful as HLD is my heart's more with the previous three.

And that's not the one more announcement I really wanted, you teasing sons of *******.

That said, I very much liked FTL, and very much slept on Into the Breach. I'll very much enjoy putting the latter next to the former...when it sees a Steam sale.

So, I'm just reading Kotaku's review for Dragon Quest 11, and I find it both hilarious and cool that it's pretty much written by a dragon quest super fan. Sure it could be seen as bias to those that are new to the series and not sure if they like it, but I'd like to think of it as a review for fans of the series wondering if this is going to be a really good entry or not, like myself.

I honestly feel like with JRPG's like Dragon Quest, if you already played one, you generally know whether or not you'll like them or not.

I admit they got me for a few seconds when they said there would be one more last annoucement at the end.

I was like, "Wait, NANI THE ****?!", only to go like, "Oh, new indie game, cool I guess".
